Easy to get the keys from the box for after 19:00 check in (but you must have paid beforehand). You have everything you need for a budget room: comfy bed, en-suite bathroom, soap, enough toilet paper, crockery, A/C, heating, reasonably quiet, nice views. Nice and accommodating staff. Great value. We are coming back.

Not much inside parking at the top level, so you have to park on the street (free though) if you do not want to have to climb up the hill from lower level parking spots when you come after hours, as only the top door is open. Maybe a bit of noise that carries over water from the factory on the opposite bank, but tolerable with ear plugs. No option for twin beds for budget room - but hey, probably the best value in town!

I stayed in the cottage and loved it. The room was large, facilities very comfortable and the host very nice. The cottage is an historic building renovated to suit its purpose. It was delightful.

Most comfortable bed and pillow ever. Neat, clean and a great setup and location for a great price.

The beds were very comfortable and everything spotlessly clean. So nice to have frienly and helpful reception open for our late arrival. Even a comfortable accesible balcolny with table/chairs for smokers (my sister) had absolutely no impact on non smokers (me) which was fantastic in these days of smokers being pariahs. Everything we needed was provided and couldn't fault anything at all. We were visiting our brother in hospital so it and so nice that affordable, accessible accomodation was the least of our worries. I don't like long life milk for coffee - though not a problem because on my next visit I would buy some fresh milk on the way

I like the fact that there was privacy. I liked that shops and restaurants were close by. It was central to all the places I visited and close to the city. Not that I used the kitchen but I liked that feature. Also liked being able to do my washing and drying. The sea views were good too. I also liked the fact that if you wanted your room cleaned or not cleaned all you had to do was slide the sign on the door.

I didn't like the fact that I wasn't told about WIFI or when I checked in not given the password to hook up to WIFI. No it wasn't in the rooms on the information given. I also didn't like not being able to switch on the lights to the room. I had to use the one that's near the kitchen sink.

Comfy bed in a very quiet room. Shower excellent. Appreciated the microwave & fridge. Sufficient crockery & cutlery with the table and chairs made it possible to prepare simple meals. A toaster would have made it perfect for me. Travelled without a car, but local buses within walking distance. Recommended!

We were welcomed with the pleasant surprise that the two rooms I had booked (one for the friend travelling with us) had been upgraded. So my wife and I had a larger-than-usual room and our friend had the bonus of a water view. She was an international visitor and was duly impressed! I also liked the small balcony overlooking the swimming pool.

Not much to dislike, but a few comments: * We had to scout around for a plug for the kitchen sink (so we could wash the dishes). * The facilities are a little dated but overall we were very happy with our stay at Waterview. * The people in the room next door to our friend were a little noisy well past 10pm, however we realise that could happen anywhere.

The view of Mount Wellington is truly spectacular. The accommodations feature a comfortable bed and a smart television with Wi-Fi access. Sunshine and the staff are exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist. ☺️

I noticed that the kitchen brush for washing dishes is missing, but aside from that, everything else is quite enjoyable! 🤝

This property met our expectations for budget accommodation. It was warm and clean with a communal kitchen along the corridor. The room itself was basic but adequate although not that well insulated against noise from the other rooms. We were only provided with half a toilet roll and both the shower gel and hair conditioner were empty after the first night.

Everything was as described and the manager was extremely helpful and friendly. Close to shopping and the major highway but very quiet. We will be staying again.

The walls are quite thin, so you can hear the neighbours in the room next door quite clearly. But not the hotels fault, you can tell it was built quite some years ago and the inside of the rooms were very clean and well maintained.
