We absolutely loved our stay at Oceana B&B. The ocean view right outside your window was a wonderful way to wake up. It is located approximately 15 mins from the CBD. The room was clean and cosy, the bathroom was very spacious. Michael and Di are exceptional hosts who take the time to greet you on arrival, ask you how your day was and even provide an online guide of places to visit and restaurant recommendations. We were also served a delicious breakfast every morning which we absolutely enjoyed. Thank you again Michael and Di for making our first trip to Tassie an unforgettable experience! We can't wait to come back!

The breakfast here is just amazing, the included wine and cheese and extra little snacks were just a cherry on top of amazing hospitalilty from both Michael and Di. The location in Howrah is beautiful, the views of Hobart and its surrounds are to die for and only being 10-15 mins from the city centre makes it an amazing location. My Mum and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this property. We have travelled all through the USA, Europe, and parts of Australia and we have never been so impressed as we were with the thoughtfulness and friendly professionalism shown by Michael and Di. The experience was overwhelmingly positive from the very start, with host contact prior to checking in to confirm dietary requirements and logistics. Prior to our arrival, I was asked what music we liked. I mentioned Taylor Swift, and they had even organised some Taylor Swift albums via their Sonos sound system for us and had it playing on our arrival! The location was beautiful and peaceful with gorgeous views, private parking and a bus stop right outside. Short and pleasant drive into Hobart city and other places of interest. The property was impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated and tidy, and had everything you could possibly need including a picnic blanket, slippers and comfy robe! Breakfast was phenomenal - heathy, super tasty and great portions. My Mum’s dietary requirements were catered for beautifully - it just felt like nothing was too difficult for Michael and Di! It was a lovely touch to arrive home in the evening to some treats each night too. As you can see, I could go on and on. Please do yourself a favour and book this property. I would give it 5 stars again and again and again! We would definitely go back.

The breakfasts were truly exceptional—such a delightful surprise each morning! We loved having something new each day, and it was always top quality—we ate every bite! The location was perfect for us, it was a quiet street with an amazing view and close enough for us to get around.

It was like the feeling of a room that was my home away from home. Fresh clean sheets, comfy bed (I have back issues and this bed was great), very thoughtful set up for guests. Everything you need as a traveler is catered for including things you wouldn't think of like spare computer cables, picnic basket, lots of spare pillows etc. Nice eco friendly supplies in bodycare cleansers. Breakfast was delicious with Michael and Di going to a bit of effort to cater to your dietary requirements and making adjustments if needed. Absolutely lovely experience with lovely hosts! Will stay again for sure

Not much if anything. One of the best stays of hundreds of travels. Can't think of a negative which is exceedingly rare!

It was a great place to stay as I was chasing Aurora in Hobart! I was able to capture one of my best photos on the driveway! The location was convenient and it is well maintained, very clean, comfortable, quiet and good quality amenities throughout my stay!

The hosts were amazing right from the start. Their hospitality of being air bnb host goes over and above. From the amazing breakfasts to the friendly nature both host exuded, it made a stay in Hobart relaxing.

Everything was perfect

Absolutely incredible. Michael and Di were so helpful with suggesting places to go and things to do. The room on arrival was so clean, tidy and very cosy. They provided a different delicious breakfast for each day we were staying and the food was to die for. All round beautiful and caring people. Thank you for everything, Michael and Di. Michael and Diane were super friendly, they gave us tips and suggestions to enjoy our stay in Hobart. The room was spotless, we had everything we needed and even more. The breakfast Michael and Diane prepared was definitely something to look forward to. We stayed for 3 nights, and the breakfast was very tasty and different every morning. Overall, we are very happy with our stay, strongly recommend Oceana B&B!
