Loved staying here, it was perfectly located for our stay and a comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was passable not fantastic but done the job. We were fortunate enough to have the first night with no one booking the top balcony and was able to get out and see the full moon over the water, was stunning. I also loved being close to the water walking down in the morning with a cup of tea to watch the sun rise. Communication with the property management was great and location to nice places to eat at or grab a coffee all walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

There could be some modern updates like paint and furniture but really not that necessary.

We have stayed here 3 times previously and love it for the location and it also represents great value for money. This time we stayed in room 8 on the lower level. The bathroom was newer and better than the upstairs rooms as it had a walk in shower rather than over the bath. It also had a bigger fridge which would be handy if you were staying longer. We also had the option of parking the car in front of the room although it made driveway access to the other lower level rooms quite tight and as we didn't want to get the hire car damaged we decided it was safer to park it on the upper level. The room was spacious, beds were comfy but unfortunately there is no view.

We had to keep the curtains drawn to ensure we had privacy and we also didn't have a view. The carpet/rug near the doorway is fraying on the edges and should be replaced as I tripped on the long piece of thread. The upstairs rooms on the downhill side of the building have lovely views so i would choose to stay upstairs again next time.

This property is In a fabulous location. It was walking distance to lots of places and had we have more than two nights there we could have done so much more exploring on foot. Leanne responded quickly to any enquiries I made. We got to hobart earlier than check in time and Leanne so kindly organised for a staff member to give us the keys early. Any interactions I had with staff was pleasant. We had the option to leave our car at the property on the day we were vacating so that we could spend a little time at the Salamanca market. Ticket inspectors seemed to everywhere so that gave us peace of mind. We will recommend this place to friends and family.

We booked 2 rooms for my husband and myself and our 3 adult children. The rooms were extremely spacious and very quiet! I think it was the quietest place we have ever stayed in hobart. There was a little kitchenette area which we could use to prepare breakfast The accommodation is in a beautiful part of battery point. An easy walk down the hill to salamanca place and the strip of shops and restaurants. The building is old and has been well maintained with beautiful stained glass windows. Will definitely stay again!

Room 9 was downstairs around the side with private entrance. It was a huge room, warm and cosy, freshly painted and private bathroom looked brand new. There was a fridge, kettle and microwave, no toaster. No view, which probably accounts for the reasonable price. Bed was comfy, dining chairs not so comfy but lounge chairs were fine. Fresh towels and room serviced daily. Battery Point is an historic neighbourhood, so great to walk around and only 15 minute stroll to heart of Salamanca.

We really enjoyed our stay at Battery Point Manor. Our room (from memory, I think it was room 6) had a lovely view over the River Derwent. The room was bright, very quiet and spacious. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the shower was great. The staff were lovely and the room was made up every day.

The room could do with an extra power point to charge our various devices, but that was only a tiny issue. We unplugged the kettle and then there enough.

Incredible location with a view of the harbour from nearby. Historic building and much larger room than expected. A small fridge and facilities within the room to make a cup of tea. Easy check in process. A 10 minute walk to Salamanca Place through the beautiful historic streets of Battery Point. Just 5 minutes to the Battery Point High street with some options for breakfast as well as local historic hotels/restaurants.

I was very happy with everything for the price point. Whilst a few things were perhaps a little dated, I consciously made the choice of price point over high end luxury and think this is excellent value for money. Highly recommend and I would stay here again

Good location, ample parking for our hire car. Good communication with the owner and they were kind to allow us late checkout. The building was established in the 1800s so it is understandably quite run down- cracks in the walls etc. We found it clean and comfortable enough though and good value for money.

Location is perfect, nice quiet street with ample parking and such a short walk to Salamanca Market and the Hobart Pier. Checkin was easy with no contact. The room was huge, clean and tidy.

Check out was a little confusing as it was a no contact check out process but I couldn’t find details on what to do. The room was cold at first being so large and Tasmanian winter but we managed to warm it up.

We were in Room 5 for 2 nights which is huge, lovely view our to sea. As the bed is tucked into an alcove you dont have side tables but can live with that. Everything clean and easy to get to restaurants and harbour. The next 2 nights we moved to Room 4 as this room wasnt available. It was smaller but still large compared to other hotels. Only issue there was that Room 3's bathroom has a noisy fan which comes on with the light and the guest would leave it on during the night. It was against the bed wall. Can recommend the Indian and Italian down the road but you must book or you miss out.

The Wifi wasnt very good, dropped out a lot.
