The location was excellent. At the end of the short street and we were at Kelly Steps leading to Salamanca Place. In addition, Battery Point is such a great suburb to walk around, seeing interesting historical buildings, a handful of coffee shops and at least 4 restaurants to choose from. Our rooms were newly furnished and very comfortable. The bathroom, although small had all we needed - roomy shower, WC, basin and quality products to use (Occitane). The Wifi was good. No lifts, but the rooms were only on the first floor and the stair weren’t narrow. An added bonus was the private, off street car park. In summary, an excellent and very reasonably priced stay

The apartment was brand new and had everything we needed for a family of 4. The beds were very comfortable with crisp linens and great selection of pillows. Location was walking distance to Salamanca and had options for great coffee and snacks nearby. A great balcony with outdoor seating was a lovely bonus.

This is a pub hotel and so there is some noise from the pub downstairs. We experienced a few people milling around the car park around 10pm on the Thursday night, then a band until approx 1030 on the Friday night. It didn't worry us as we were awake (and the band was great), but if you go to bed early it may impact your peace.

Exceeded expectations! For a pub hotel the rooms were incredibly modern and clean, with amazing views of Hobarts hills and mountains. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was so ultra modern that the mirror even featured a bluetooth speaker to enjoy tunes during a shower! Incredible value for money and prime location in Battery Point. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Location was excellent with short walk to old town. Good restaurant and off street parking.

Maintenance was needed globes missing from lights. No soap or shampoo provided. Small blow heater inefficient for size of room. This accommodation calls out for promotion as a traditional pub in the historic Battery Point. old historic pictures of Hobart on the walls and a general tidy up could encourage patrons at a higher room rate

The room was absolutely perfect👌 Newly refurbished as I understand and totally faultless. The bed was so, so comfortable. Had best sleep in a long while. Very quite. Location is brilliant being only 8 mins walk from all the restaurants and bars in Salamanca Place. And terrific value for money for all the above 👍

Bed was very comfortable, shower was a good temperature. Noise mitigation quite good (barfely heard the band downstairs)

Air conditioning did not work properly, was way too hot. Tried turning it down but did not seem to make any difference. Windows do not open far enough - could not even get a decent breeze to cool the room down.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Friendly locals in the bar. Clean and comfortable room and amenities.

Wasn’t a major issue but the live music on the Hobart regatta public holiday was a tad too loud when sleeping above the pub.

Great location. An older building with noticeably older bathroom but nice sheets and it might have been because we had come off a hike but it felt very dry and comfortable. We stayed on a Friday night and the band downstairs was pretty audible until late but not unpleasant. the food downstairs was excellent. We had the trevalla which was a huge piece of very succulent fish.

The toilet was very tricky to flush and the water pressure wasn’t great. The temperature of the water in the shower was also very difficult to regulate. Also, the smoke detector fell off the ceiling in the middle of the night which startled us but it was fine.

Convenient & calm location. It was a 20 mnts walk to the city. Staff were very accommodative & very friendly. We loved the place

Would have preferred. a small microwave or an oven in the room or in a common area to heat the food we bring from out. The staff were more than helpful to heat in the kitchen, but we did not want them going out of their way and did not want to worry them all the time.

Free upgrade to a double room suite, enjoyed the beautifully renovated new rooms, great views of kunanyi and greater Hobart. Great location 5 minute walk to Salamanca, with free parking on site

Wednesday night at the pub downstairs was a little noisy, but otherwise was a perfect stay
