Very Good Breakfast and of course the pool. Room also nice very spcious.

The pool's closing time of 7 pm is not ideal, as most travelers in Langkawi spend the day out and typically return to the resort after 7 pm. By then, with the pool already closed, I feel it defeats the purpose of having a pool available for relaxation.

The room was perfectly fine, and my family really enjoyed the garden view and the facilities provided by the hotel. The swimming pool was very clean and good spacious, including a separate pool for kids. They have dedicated space for your vehicle parking. For just RM10 per hour, you can rent a good conditioned bicycle and enjoy a ride on the dedicated cycling track. Although you can't go into the sea, the seaside area is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing . It's a great place for families to enjoy quality time together.

Check-in time took longer than expected. They can improve quick check-in time.

The staff, were excellent. We switched rooms three times in 27 hours. Frankly, the rooms on the stilts over the water are old, and run down. Our mattress looked like it was 80 years old, had burst at the seams and was filthy. We were moved to another room. The next room, was just plain dirty. Mold in shower, drinking glasses with toothpaste still in them from previous guests and so on. I took the pics to the manager and the apologized and moved us to a nicer room on the property. If you stay there do not stay in the rooms over the water ( its actually over mud most of the time) Stay in the rooms on the land side of the property they are newer and much cleaner. The staff were very nice and gracious. Our third room was very comfortable.

The pool facilities were fantastic. A really beautiful setting.

A pity you can't swim in the sea and also can't enjoy an alcoholic drink.

Ombak Villa was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Our arrival and check in was smooth and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The swimming pool area was lovely and the restaurant was clean with a good choice for breakfast. The gardens were very well kept and the property overlooks the water - all very pretty. You will need to get a taxi from the hotel if you want a choice of restaurants for dinner or if you're in search of a lively beach - the property is about a 15 minute ride away from Cenang Beach where there are plenty of bars/ restaurants and also a large, sandy beach with a lot of life and a lot of water activities - jet skis, banana boats, paragliding etc Definitely would recommend going here for the evening - we went to The Cliff restaurant which served lovely food overlooking the beach.

Guests should be aware that the hotel does not serve alcohol and also there is no access to the sea from the hotel because of jellyfish - meaning no swimming (other than in the pool) - neither issue was a problem for us as we were only staying 1 night but I do think it would be helpful to mention these things at the point of booking rather than on arrival.

Hotel very clean and well maintained, with beautiful public areas, and the staff helpful and polite. The breakfast was good and had many options to choose from. The SPA is amazing, we had a wonderful massage and facial therapy there, is located outside the hotel but they arranged to get us there and pick us up with the hotel Buggy. Also the laundry service was excellent.

The location is quite isolated, must travel 10-15 min to get to Pantai Cenang, the view is beautiful but what you see in the pictures is a lake, not the sea, and unfortunately there are many mosquitoes.

Every time we returned to the hotel, we thought about how quiet and beautiful was its territory compared to what we had seen in general on the island of Langkawi. The only regret is the lack of a private beach and the opportunity to use the sea. The sea bottom near the hotel is covered with nasty gray mud, which sucks in and makes swimming unsafe. Therefore, we had to go to other beaches on the island, which caused some inconvenience. The hotel is Muslim-oriented, so there was very little choice of food and especially meat. But the advantage was the lack of booze and, as a result, drunken screaming tourists.

Nice place and staff were very nice, we just stayed for one night on way to somewhere else but it was a good spot for a layover. The beaches and environment was beautiful.

The room was nice but wasn't very clean, lots of dust, hair in corners of floors, bathroom. The air con was very loud. The check in seemed to be overly complex also with a deposit required, this seemed unecessary - but it was quite a low amount so OK and was give back quickly on check out.

Proximity to shops and amenities are great if you are driving or getting grab. Pool was big enough for a quick swim. Stayed for 2 nights and it was just perfect.

Could do better with housekeeping. Floors in room were not clean
