It truly feels like a home in town. It’s just a few minutes from the beach, right in the old town, and it feels super safe, perfect for solo travelers. The facilities are amazing. They are always clean and stocked with everything you need, whether you're staying for a few days or a few weeks. The staff? Incredible. Always smiling, super helpful, and genuinely fun to be around. They’ll let you in on all the local secrets — from the best places to eat to where the party’s at. I spent a whole month working remotely from there, and the coworking space was perfect: comfy, quiet, and with everything I needed for a productive workday. If you're looking for a workation spot near the beach with great people and good vibes, this is the place.

Location, location, location! Located inside Tarifa’s old town, close to the main sights, the local market, bars & restaurants La Cocotera is only a short walk to the beach The mixed dorm I stayed in was large and had two doors to the small balcony allowing for plenty of light and fresh air The bunk beds are sturdy and well anchored into the walls and are equipped with a personal light and plugs The kitchen is large and well equipped and the eating area is spacious with a large table and chairs The whole place is very well run and clean

Great location and lovely staff. The space was perfect for a night in Tarifa. The shared space is small though functional, with a tiny kitchen and a table for meals. I enjoyed the co-working space very much, fast broadband and comfy chairs. There's also a booth, to book separately, for remote meetings.

Guests came in the dorm talking loudly after midnight, eating crisps (or something equally noisy), and kept coming in and out of the dorm banging the door. I'm used to dorms and found this unusual. Just wish they'd have been more respectful though of course this isn't to do with the management, who were lovely and helpful.

10/10 – A Truly Special Stay at La Cocotera! From the moment I arrived, La Cocotera is such a unique and special place run by people who genuinely care about your stay. The space is cozy and perfectly located for exploring Tarifa. But what really sets it apart is the atmosphere — relaxed, welcoming, and full of positive energy. It feels like staying with friends. Good location in hearth of Tarifa, just close to Jerez´s door. Room for 4 was comfortable enough and curtain to get privacy in the bed own space with lockers and extra drawers, good kitchen facilities and wide terrace. Good place for people which work remotely with desks and screens.

The feeling of boutique was a bit missing. Cleanliness of toilet have room to improve and besides the office area were not many more place to chill out.

Perfect location, very helpful staff, place is clean and modern.

Bit difficult for me to get used to the European prices, coming from Morocco, and before that Latin America, where for the price of a dormitory bed in Europe you can easily get your own private room or even a whole apartment. But that is my personal circumstance which makes it difficult to appreciate the value for money here.

Well equiped hostel, beds were comfortable, had a curtain, LOVED the rooftopterrace, superfriendly staff, no parking but perfect location in the center with cosy small streets, walking distance from the beach

The only thing I was missing is a cosy place to hang that is not your room and not the rooftopterrace (too hot), like a living room. But it wouldn't keep me of coming back here. Just a friendly tip would be to make some shade on the rooftop terrace.

Fantastic stay at this lovely clean guest house We had use of the fully fitted kitchen & dining area plus the marvellous roof terrace The location was terrific right in the old town near bars & restaurants

Chill atmosphere chill room chill people. Marina and erik let us stay for 2 hours waiting our boat on the rooftop. Really sympathic! Thanks
