Very nice design hotel, the room was very large and offers a lot of comfort. The minibar is included in the price and includes soft drinks and beers. I liked the ecofriendly aspect of the stay, there is a water fountain in the corridor to refill the bottle and also garbage collection for recycling. The breakfast has a very large selection of food, both sweet and savory, and the offer changes daily. The hotel is very well located, few mins from the beach and few mins from the old town, with several restaurants around. On clear days you can see Africa from the room, at this is spectacular.

Blankets are changed every 2 days, despite appreciating it, I think it doesn't align with the ecofriendly policy they follow in the hotel.

Hit and miss with the cleaning of the rooms. Sometimes there would be clean towels, missing pillows, cups and glasses not cleaned. Breakfast was fantastic, evening meals not so great. Better places to eat in Tarifa. We paid for a spa experience, if you stay for 5 nights or more you get this free, we were not compensated for this which was a shame.

This was a great stay just outside the downtown core - super close for a quick stroll to all the action, while quiet enough if that is what you are looking for. The buffet breakfast was great, and there are several restaurants and cafes nearby. There is also underground parking at the hotel - super convenient. The staff are very nice and the additional spa services are very relaxing at an additional cost. Thanks.

The hotel is beautiful, room was very comfortable with a queen bed and a sofa bed and still plenty of room for my toddler to play, breakfast was delicious, loved the little touches like water fountains and popcorn machine so you can have water and snacks whenever you want, staff are so helpful and very welcoming of children even closing the spa for us so we could go with our toddler at lunchtime. We can't wait to go back!

Nothing, honestly we can't fault our stay

It’s nice and clean, the interior is done well and is colorful. The location is great and it’s easy to get around. Breakfast is fantastic. The upstairs pool area is cool, make sure to stop by for a cocktail or just hang by the pool.

The AC goes off after a while on. I don’t know if that’s because the hotel try to conserve the resources but it very annoying. During my stay it wasn’t very hot but I can imagine it being a nuisance when it’s hot.

Location of this hotel is exceptional. View from the balcony (we had room with a view on a first floor) was great: as promised you could see cost of Africa. They even have binoculars in the room. We could see port of Tarifa. We didn't use pool, just picked at it and it was very nice rooftop pool with a view. Parking was located underground which was very convenient. Breakfast buffet was excellent, I enjoyed selection of fruit, they even had persimmons! Room was clean and so bed sheets. Daily room cleaning. On Fridays there is live music in hotel's restaurant. I wish we got upgraded to rooms on second floor but that wasn't an option. We enjoyed our stay and I recommend the hotel highly.

I would stay in this hotel again without reservations. However to make my review useful to others I would point out some things that are not ideal. We had very tall bathtub combined with shower. It wasn't great to get in and out but then it was as pictured. I was glad I had my own shampoo etc. since hotel uses refillable containers. Our room was situated above restaurant's outdoor seating and smell of food was strong at times. Temperature controls prevent setting temperature lower than 21 degrees.

We loved everything: the rooms, the common area, all the facilities, the staff, the breakfast. I would rate 11 instead of 10! Everything in the hotel was new, clean and fine. Everyone of the staff was kind and helpful. Nonetheless, we were travelling with a 2-year-old toddler and everything was easy to access also with him: there where toys free to use we never felt out of place though the high standard of the hotel. The infinity pool also was beautiful and easy to use for us and for our toddler, as half of it it was covered and so protected from the wind. We had no time to try the restaurant for dinner, the spa and the free activities (yoga, pilates …) organized everyday, but they seemed to be very nice. The breakfast was delicious and cared for in detail, moreover there were fruit, water and popcorn always available through the day at the reception. The hotel has a parking and Tarifa’s town center is few meters away, so are the beaches and the port. Finally, the value for the money was good. …i have stayed in several hotels in my life, both with family and when travelling for work, this tops most of them and I would highly recommend it!

Front desk staff provided exceptional service, helping us with parking our rental car, answering all our questions in English and being genuinely warm and welcoming. The restaurant food was delicious and fresh with wonderful vegetables, particularly the eggplant. On top of this we had a free flamenco performance in which guitar, singer and dancer were all quite good. We went to Tangier, Morocco one day and our hotel packed us a “picnic” breakfast which was so generous we would have had enough food for the full day , not just the ferry ride. The hotel is a short walk from the ferry and was so convenient. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast buffet top notch—beautifully set out and generous. We would highly recommend The Spa and Residencia Puerto

There was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke not too strong, but present, in our room. Opening the windows for a few hors took care of that

the atmosphere was fantastic, the hotel staff could not look after you enough the Spa facilities were second to none, we drank at the hotel and found the prices to be very reasonable they had a flamenco act on the Sunday night which was great to see we came to the hotel as we were celebrating two birthdays and wow we were not disappointed we will definitely be coming back even just for a day trip to use the spa facilities and enjoy the amazing food thank to everyone at the hotel 10 out of 10

Roof top pool Close to decent restaurants and bars

Air con kept turning off, you’d come back to the room and it would be horrendously warm. Children running and screaming around the pool. Restaurant has a really weird menu. Basement spa was shut during our stay but we were not informed at time of booking. Staff left a chair behind our door which was really strange.
