The hotel owner/manager(?) was friendly and very helpful. He did everything including check-in and preparing breakfast. He upgraded my room to the 3rd floor with it's huge rooftop terrace with nice views and sounds of the ocean waves. He prepared a nice breakfast and answered questions about my confusing bus ticket and stored my baggage after checking out.

The location is excellent. I enjoyed having my balcony door open for a cool breeze and to hear the sound of the waves breaking on the beach! Staff were kind and offered coffee and a light breakfast each morning. The location is very walkable.

I wasn't able to get the TV or the AC unit in the room to turn on. Luckily I was there for the beach and the cool breeze was perfect! Parking is also a challenge but you'll have a better chance near the water.

The location was perfect for me. A short walk from the centre of town in a quiet area. Breakfast was included in the price; bread, cheese, coffee... what more do you need? The owners were also very warm and helpful and sorted me out a taxi back to Gibraltar the day I left.

I'm not sure anything could have been better.

Fantastic location ! The hotel is a few minutes walk from the bus station and everywhere is easy to reach, the beach ,port and the old town and supermarket are literally minutes away. The team are friendly and very helpful. Everything was so clean and nothing I noticed was worn or " tired looking" Breakfast was very nice and I had a great coffee to start my day.

Perfect location, 5-10 min walk to the Port / restaurants / beach / bus station. Didn’t have to worry about getting around at all.

Hotel La Mirada is in a strategic position, just few minutes far from Tarifa downtown I was in third floor and the big terrace is very beautiful with a stunning view of the sea, where Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean meet together. The room is essential but clean. The staff is kind and polite The only suggestion I have is to improve the quality and choice of the breakfast

Basic but very comfortable hotel outside the old town but just a short walk away and not far from the beaches. We had a room on the top floor which had a big communal terrace outside with a great outlook out over the town to the sea. Staff were friendly and let us check in early as the room was ready. Very good value for money. Would stay here again.

The hotel is located in a calm area of Tarifa, very close to the local bullring arena, and less than 5-minute walking to the beach, which I could see from the small balcony of my room. Parking wasn't an issue at all, as the receptionist let me park my car in the small reserved space right outside of the hotel. My room was big enough for one person, with a large bed and a small balcony, and I was very much satisfied with the overall cleanness. I didn't experience any disturbance during the night, as my room was in a quiet corner of the hotel. It was just a one-night stop, and I'd go back in case of a longer stay in the future.

the location was perfect. near the beach, the old city, shops, restaurants, wine stores, and the Bus Station which I used to take day trips to Cadiz and Malaga. They offer breakfast and the staff was very accommodating.

some rooms mine included do not have great views but you really don’t even notice because in Tarifa you are out and about all the time and only use the hotel to sleep. they DO have an entire terrace on the top floor where you can see the beach.

We came to this hotel in the middle of the night when we were flooded out of other accommodations. The staff was very helpful in getting us settled into a temporary room they had available and held our luggage the next morning while we were out as we had to move to a different room that we had been able to book online in the midst of our evacuation from the flooded property for the second night. We were very grateful for their assistance in our time of need and wish we had simply booked their hotel from the start.
