The property was really classic and nice. Easy entrance and lovely suite. Please note this property will require you to carry your luggage up flights of stairs. If you have back or knee trouble, please know this. But, the location and suite are just perfect. I also had my ferry cancelled due to a storm and the management refused to consider a refund for the first night. I really thought an act of nature which was beyond my ability to change, would be considered but no. Please beware to get protection because they won’t care what your issue is,. But, the did give me an extra hour on check out. I don’t want to be at all negative because it’s such a great property but please get insurance or pay when you arrive. It’s really disappointing when people can’t be human and understanding for something like this. Really nice suite. Be very careful booking it and be prepared to haul luggage yourself as there is no one at check in and no offer if you need help.

The lack of understanding about not being able to get there my first night booked. Not even an offer to provide another night free. The ferry was cancelled and it was beyond my control. They will not give you any compassion so maybe just try to pay cash upon arrival.

The style of the building and the apartment is very special. It is attractive and in a very nice location in a small square. The little kitchen area was very useful. There is plenty of storage space for clothes and other items.

On a windy night you can hear interior doors rattling - it can be noisy enough to stop you sleeping! I stayed on the first floor in the Dayree apartment which is really lovely but on a couple of nights during my stay the people above me were noisy and I could hear everything though the ceiling.

I booked a suite that could easily have slept 4 as there were 2 sofa beds. The bedroom was a mezzanine and there was a living space and kitchen downstairs. The apartment is located on one of the little squares in Tarifa and was ideal for me to catch the ferry to Tangier the next day as it was only a 10 minute walk to the port. Some fairly good places to eat nearby. Contactless check in but good communication throughout via WhatsApp.

The door codes were a bit hit and miss but they did provide a card key in the lock box as an alternative so it wasn't a major issue.

Location is great. We were able to change our 2nd floor room for 1st floor single story room after a knee injury, thanks to property manager! Comfy bed, aircon, small sofa, kitchenette ( not used) and reasonably comfortable but small bathroom with good hot water and pressure. Lovely cleaning lady too!

It’s looking a bit dusty & run down. Shower screen was off the rails. All the pretty decorative features and colours from a few years ago have been removed and everything is now a bit beige. All self check-in and no one at front desk.

Communication was easy, we'd ask if we could leave our bags as we were arriving early but were allowed to check in as the room was ready. You can always tell if somewhere is well run when something goes wrong, the code for our door wasn't working when we tried it before we left. This was resolved within 5 mins and so didn't impact our day at all. Situated in the old town in a lovely square with bars and restaurants, the hotel is ideally placed, but you will need to walk 5mins to get to it as taxis can't get down the tiny lanes. The room is on a split level, the outside space off the bedroom was lovely and we sat outside having lunch, reading and lounging around. The lounge area has a patio door, and there were musicians in the square so it was lovely to listen to during the day and yet it was all really quiet at night. The bed was very comfy and I was worried about the spiral staircase but actually it was a lot wider than others have seen in the past. There was a usable kitchen, and it was good to have a kettle as I don't drink coffee. There are lots of nice restaurants in the area, including a very good vegetarian one and after beefing in Spain for 2 weeks it was good to have some less rich food. It was a lovely relaxing space and there were English TV to watch, which is a bonus when you come home in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again.

The guesthouse is located in the centre of the old town walking distance to multiple bars and restaurants. You are given codes to access your room which worked perfectly as we arrived later in the evening. Rooms are spacious. Only issue we had was with the power. It did go off when we plugged in the hairdryer. However I contact the receptionist and she came over within 10 minutes and fixed it straight away.

Nothing, great value for money

Loved the rooftop and the kitchenette in room (we booked 2nd floor rooms, worth it)! Close to everything (unfortunately that includes the all-night disco).

Rooms overlook a square with bar and all-night party spot. It might depend on the night, but when we weee there, it was a big party outside allllllll night long. Welcome to Spain lol. Windows do not block out noise, but maybe this is to be expected in a town like this

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great! There are a lot of bars and restaurants around, and because it wasn't high season, it wasn't too crowded or loud. It was perfect for us coming with the ferry from Tangier in the evening, and after we checked in, just take a stroll and choose one of the restaurants in the small alleys!

We were not used with automatic check-in. I wish they had mentioned that we will receive the codes for the doors when our check-in time is reached, we we're unnecessarily nervous about not knowing how to get in.

Location was top notch. Bed was comfortable and the small kitchenette had everything required for simple meal. We didn't use it except for a coffee in the morning and a wine in the evening. A couple of coffee pods provided but if it's important to you maybe request cafe con leche or regular. Shower had lots of pressure and hot water. Quiet for sleeping although seems there might be 2 restaurants/pubs that are open in main tourist season in the plaza in front.

Shower small corner one that might be a problem for some. Way too much floral air freshener in the bathroom and could not locate where it comes from. Our particular room had more of a Juliet balcony so no place to sit outside but may be what I booked.

The place is lovely and the location in old town is very convenient. Our room had a very nice roof terrace. There is no front desk and all check-in was online, which was very fast and easy. However, having some staff on site can be helpful for special needs. We needed an iron, for example, but luckily we arrived in the morning and the person doing the room service and housekeeping (Rosario) was very friendly and helpful.

We don't have any trouble sleeping and we managed to do so OK. However, some people might find the central location a bit noisy. There was a street performer (playing guitar and signing) during lunch time, and noise from the people talking by the nearby bars at night.
