We booked a room for one night and were pleasantly surprised to be offered a free upgrade. We got a wonderful large two-room apartment with a coffee machine and complimentary sweets and water. They have a fantastic Beach Club, which is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the food was really excellent. Breakfast was also great. Very convenient parking next to the hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful. When leaving the hotel, we received a pleasant surprise - a bag of warm cookies for the trip, which was really nice. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Sopot.

Everything was perfect...

We loved the location. It was peaceful and we enjoyed renting the e scooters for transportation. The service at the beach was appreciated, even though we arrived after morning, the gentleman working was able to accommodate us sun beds and space under an umbrella. The bartender at the beach and in the lobby were both talented. Maya in the spa was also wonderful. Our favorite staff member was Wojciech. He had a greeting for us each time we saw him. He offered suggestions for what to do around town and in general just made us feel welcomed and important. Our least favorite was the Xander restaurant, this will not affect our review of your hotel because we realize it’s a separate entity but the food and the service were extremely underwhelming and we were very disappointed.

The Xander restaurant was very disappointing. We were expecting much more from a Michelin star establishment. This was our first experience with a Michelin star and while we realize the restaurant was understaffed and our waiter was doing his best, the food was terrible so what is the excuse there? The shrimp were overcooked, our bread arrived after the first course was finished, my pasta was not hot, the wine poured seemed small and the dessert was just ok. Honestly, our waiter was inexperienced but nice. We told him everything was great because he really did try his best.

The overall design is elegant and inviting, and the room had a stylish, modern feel. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and very friendly staff. The bar area was lovely, especially with live piano music in the evenings.

The gym was a bit disappointing. It’s very small, with outdated equipment, and although the AC works, the room feels humid and lacks fresh air. Also, my room was quite dark during the day — there was a window, but the surrounding trees blocked most of the natural light.

Lovely hotel in a quiet side of town. We left our Windsor open all night and it was still really quiet. Easy access to the beach and the Main Street, full of restaurants and shops. The bar area at the hot is small but the restaurant is fab.

The private beach is lovely but we did not feel welcomed by the staff members working there. The girl who was setting up our loungers clearly did not want to be there, dropped our towels a few times and at the end just dragged them in the sand.

I absolutely loved it. Haffner Hotel in Sopot exceeded my expectations — the service was excellent, the atmosphere relaxing, and the location perfect. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Poland. I’d definitely go back.

Overall I had a great stay, but I wish it had been clearer that free parking wasn’t included. It would have been helpful to know that upfront to plan better.

My overall experience in this hotel was very outstanding, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, our breakfasts were delicious and the staff in the hotel were top class. I would like to make a special mention to a gentleman called Wojciech who was the Portier in the Hotel, from start to finish he made us feel welcomed and looked after, specially during our checkout when we encountered mechanical difficulties with our vehicle ... during a public holiday. My husband and I are foreigners and do not speak Polish and Wojciech went above and beyond his duties to help us troubleshoot our issue, call our insurance to have them sent us a tow truck, made us comfortable in the lobby while we waited and was very detailed oriented during our stressful situation. The cherry on the cake, he served as our interpreter with the tow truck driver and called a comfortable taxi to get us to the train station comfortably so we could go back home. If it were possible, I would give this Hotel eleven points just out of the outstanding care and costumer focused approach which Wojciech demonstrated to us. We will definitely return and we hope to meet Wojciech once more.

All was amazing!

Good choice at breakfast, very comfortable room, had every amenity necessary, even had a stocked mini bar. The pool was a good size and the spa facilities were free to use: sauna, steam room, ice bath, jacuzzi. Most staff spoke good English and were all extremely welcoming.

We had a suite. It had a large bathroom with bath and shower, it was a shame that the shower was so small, for larger guests this might be an issue.

A beautiful hotel in a wonderful location, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and great food in the Michelin restaurant. Beautiful pool and cozy saunas. Overall, we were thrilled.👍

The hotel rents both standard and electric bikes... it just needs to be checked and adjusted occasionally 🤷‍♂️... but that's a minor thing
