Great hotel in a central location right in the town center of Hagen. Walking distance to the Central Station. My room was small and cute, the bed was comfy. WiFi worked well. There's an elevator in case you have heavy luggage. The staff were friendly both upon check-in and check-out. There was a nice continental breakfast buffet. The price was around 60€ per night which is fair.

No aircon and it was too hot in my room. 🥵

Very welcoming staff and the most beautiful and well maintained house plants in the communal spaces of the property. Literally a little green jungle in the relaxing ground floor lounge area. Plentiful and diverse breakfast with a good selection of local bakery items as well as yoghurt, cereal, fruit, cheese and cold cuts, eggs etc. Gluten free items were also offered. Location is excellent for the theatre, you can literally see the artists entrance across the inner courtyard.

The staff were great. Very comfortable bed. I did have a problem with the door of the toilet in my room and I was locked one of the nights out of the hotel for like 10 minutes after 11pm because the front desk person didnt hear me. Overall I enjoyed a lot my experience there.

Location, space, cleanness, furniture. It's not modern, but cosy and in a condition to feel comfortable. The breakfast is somewhat OK.

It is not super quiet but rather quiet considering the location within the city - at least if you have a room towards the yard. The rooms are quite warm in summer.

The owners/personnel, very helpful and considerate A sunny room with all amenities. Safe parking. The superb restaurant a step away. The experince of true caring hotel comfort, not found easily anymore.

Absolutely Nothing

It was a last minute decision to stay in hotel Lex but it was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice as well. The property is well maintained and has beautiful plants everywhere. We would definitely recommend it :)

very well located - just a short walk from the train station (one of the very few surviving old buildings in Hagen, WWII...) and at the center of town. Yet also very quiet. The hotel itself has the air of a family-run; the people are very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, wi-fi was good. What else do you need on a business trip?

Very good location. The room we stayed in was very generous in size.

The breakfast was good, but monotonous ... german. Toilet materials were few. There was no refrigerator in the room.

Quite a dated hotel but I'm ok with that, but some people might be a bit surprised.

Breakfast and staffs is nice and hospitality.
