Breakfast was great and the A/C was cold! The room is big and super clean. Our view was great and the price was great. The room had a full size hair dryer, microwave and mini refrigerator and a balcony with a sea side view.

Our ceiling fan did not work. The balcony is very tight, but I am sure nothing can be done about it.

The water pressure was lacking in the shower. Dog park had tons of mosquitos and smelled of sewer. I paid for a beach view room to just have a tower in front of my balcony.

I simply loved it ! We live in Denton/Tx . 1. Good for kids 1.1 The ocean is wonderful 2. really good breakfast 3. The Ola restaurant and bar is perfect , the food is tasty and fast , and the drinks are amazing. The bar tenders are good and the cooks are talented. 4. Location is strategic 5. Crossing from the hotel there is a nature park with birds, crocodiles and turtles. 6. the cleaners are friendly and clean very well . 7. there is a good gift shop at the hotel

Price there is a laundry machine , but they didn't provide coins Then I had to drive to wash my clothes outside of the hotel in the laundrymat on the Island.

I really liked how nice the staff was, and how everything was there on the resort. Hungry? Restaurant attached. Craving Starbucks? It’s there in the hotel. Forgot sandals or even goggles? No problem…there’s a gift shop on the street! ❤️ This was such a great stay!

Honestly, there is very little I would change. The ONLY thing I would change is to maybe have umbrellas/beach lounge chairs designated for the guests to have directly on the beach. I appreciated the beach towels but would’ve liked to have availability of at least umbrellas on the beach (even if there’s a fee). Only reason I would like this is because even when I tried to rent one from a person on the beach, they told me we were too far, so we had no shade. No fault of the hotel, just a suggestion 😁

Everything was wonderful! Stayed the weekend for my daughter's 9th birthday. Enjoyed fireworks and the pool everyday! We even got to setup at the beach and at night went crab hunting! One of the most memorable birthdays for my daughter! Hotel is located right in the middle of beach/bay access and downtown area. Ola bar staff was super friendly and anyways kept smiles on even tho they would get bombarded during happy hour and before closing. Best long island ice teas on south padre island!

Parking was a pain to find in the afternoons and evenings. Cleaning staff could've brought more towels, had to go to front desk twice to ask for extra towels because they didn't leave any after the cleaned the room on 2 occasions. The Bathtub needed a deep cleaning on day one that we walked into the room. I only overlooked it because we were going to get it dirty as well eventually over our stay.

We really liked the breakfast provided each day something delicious, the rooms were clean and fresh. The location was great and house keeping was excellent. Shampoo and body wash was good too, in pump bottles.

The extra fee for a rental chair and umbrella on the beach were unwelcome. Only one of our room keys worked. The tv did not work well, horizontal lines were showing on the screen. Vending machines weren’t all well stocked or out of order. The pool was small and crowded at most times and cloudy too. Doors need updating and peeling paint on balcony.

I loved the room space and it smelled clean when we walked in. The room was right outside from the pool area and great to sit outside and enjoy the weather and see the view. The staff were friendly and very helpful when we had questions about the facilitys. Loved that access to the beach was just within walking distance and loved the happy hour that would go on between 3-6 pm for the drinks. The complimentary breakfast was great and was so good and even had staff make fresh omelets.

Really didnt have any complaints. The beds were extra firm and a little uncomfortable but other than that no issues.

This hotel is between Claytons and Barry’s beach bar. Pool is open 24/7, free parking, free breakfast ( cereal, oatmeal packets, waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, heated homemade salsa, flour tortillas, ( if you request; they also make u the omelette of your choice) , clean rooms, my room had 2 queen beds, sofa sleeper, microwave, coffee maker, table, etc. Has a small restaurant outside d hotel out on back w great prices. Staff is wonderful, Hotel is on the beach

Would of been better if they would of given me top floor, due to that my room was pool view and ended up next to d pool (lots of noise). Also, no extra blankets for d sofa sleeper. Needs more security for the guests safety (anyone can just walk in from the beach to the hotel), due to that doors don’t require any card access.

the staff from the managers, front desk to the cleaning they were very accommodating. We were traveling with a four month old baby when we couldn't find a parking space, the building maintenance man gave us his. They were that good.

1. Location - perfect, right on the beach across from Birding & Nature Center 2. Service staff - attentive, hard working, accommodative, fast responsive. Must recognize amazing Housekeeping ladies & Dining food service staff. However, omelet station folks make faces if you don't tip (better bring some dollar bills). 3. Room size - much bigger relative to what one typically sees (king size room facing ocean) 4. Room safe (vault) - easy to use + huge, will lock your computers, tables, wallets, etc. Very nice feature. 5. Dining room - plenty of space, including busy weekends 6. Breakfast - not bad

1. Property - not just dated, but really old without required maintenance. Rust all over. 2. Old squeaky uncomfortable bed 3. Parking - limited (issue on the weekends) and poorly lit. It appears safe though. No incidents though. 4. Gym - no air circulation, stuffy, difficult to breathe even with A/C blowing cold 5. Swimming pool - not just dirty, but the water feels oily. 6. Balcony- tiny, no space
