Light, bright, clean, spacious rooms, lovely garden. Tasty breakfasts. Judith is fabulous - warm, welcoming and endlessly helpful.

The property itself is lovely but in the countryside and too far out from Lisse. Incorrectly listed by Booking.com as being Lisse. Do not stay here unless you have a car or bicycle for independent travel - otherwise you are dependant on local buses into Lisse which only run every 90minutes (the last bus back is at 5pm) or taxis. There is only one restaurant nearby - Lola’s- very good, but a 1.1km walk from the property.

I was travelling from a holiday with my family to a work conference the next day and needed a stay close to Amsterdam for one night. Fantastic rural location but only 10 minutes from airport and 35 minutes from Amsterdam Centre. The rooms are not just spacious, they are huge. Judith, the owner, is very friendly, multi-lingual, flexible and helpful. Considering the hotel prices in Amsterdam during big events, this is a viable solution, which we will consider. It definitely exceeded our expectations.

I am hesitating to call it a problem. But while we found the staircase to the 2 floor charming, some might find it more difficult to navigate especially with heavy or large luggage, as it is quite steep and narrow.

We were thrilled to arrive at home where we immediately felt quite rested. Our host made us feel very comfortable and we enjoyed everything about our stay. We loved being out in the county with the sounds of birds and yet close to a couple of small towns with the amenities we needed. We wish we could have stayed longer in the home and in the area as it was quite relaxing. Actually, it was perfect and we would not change anything.

There was absolutely nothing we would change.

An exceptionally friendly and well-run, good value B&B in a quiet rural location, close to the lovely Braasemermeer. Judith was very welcoming and provided everything we needed, including valuable advice in an emergency. The room and private bathroom were exceptionally large and comfortable. An ideal place from which to explore the Haarlemmermer lakes, Leiden, and the bulb fields, or for flying from Schipol (although it was perfectly quiet).

My daughter and I spent two nights at De Kaagse Koe. We hired bikes from Judith to cycle along the canal to Keukenhof. It was a lovely experience - the ride there as well as the wonderful garden at Keukenhof. Judith was very kind and went out of her way to help us. The closest station is Nieuwe -Vennep and from there you should be able to take an uber althought one actually needs a car to stay here. The place is very comfortable and clean.

This is a very nice stay near to Schipfol yet in a rural setting. I didn't exactly know the location beforehand, just proximity, so I was delighted to have a really good cafe right on the canal within walking distance! We enjoyed the farm animals on site, and resident dog and cat. Beds were very comfy, plenty of room for the family, and the bath was impeccably clean! We didn't get the full breakfast but Judith made us very robust breakfast bag to go that were so abundant, we couldn't finish! Also, Judith coordinated our very reasonable airport transport and could even set up a trailer if we had too much luggage for their car, which we fortunately didn't need. A great stay near the airport providing excellent rest before our early flight, exactly what we needed. Would gladly stay again.

It was a bit warm upstairs on arrival, but soon cooled with open windows. Due to our early departure, I wasn't able to singlehandedly translate the impressive coffee machine in the kitchen, operator error, but did enjoy trying!

Very friendly host, nice and quiet area. Very clean and adorably decorated. Delicious breakfast.

The breakfast tasted great but labels would be nice so you know what you're getting. We expected a charging station for an electric vehicle, as advertised on Booking.com but there was no possibility to charge the car. It wasn't a problem for us but the information should be updated.

If you are traveling to Amsterdam, Keukenhof, or the airport this is the place for you! It is a short 10 minute drive to the tulip garden, 30 minutes to the train station to take you into the city, or 15 minute drive to the airport. It is conveniently located close to the main highway. Close to the airport but you would never know because the countryside is so very quiet. The beds are some of the most comfortable that I have slept in while living in Europe. So appreciated the use of the communal fridge to store our lunch supplies and the communal living area to visit with my family. The host was very helpful finding great places for dinner and information for parking garages close to Amsterdam. Delicious homemade bread every morning!

There is nothing that I would change.

What a warm welcome with tea,. coffee and cold Drinks for the kids. Our room was filled with lovely furniture ☺ The kids really enjoyed feeding the rabbits and goats in the morning. The breakfast with fresh baked bread and croissants was very delicious ❤. It's only 20 minutes by car to center of Amsterdam. We hope to come back.

Judith is so hospitable and made us all feel very welcome. Her house felt like an oasis of calm after a traumatic journey from the French alps to Holland. Our dog had been cooped up in the car for 15 hours, but ran about tiring herself out in Judith’s beautiful garden. Thanks so much for a great stay!
