Location is great. Clean.

It was located in a good area not far from the pier. It was a nice clean establishment. The people were always cleaning. Pool was great and I could sit and face the beach. The gazebo was nice if you wanted to sit and read. It was nice to cook on the gas grill. Staff was great. Had to have a piece of luggage overnighted by UPS. It left my town in Georgia at around 5:30 PM and arrived at Garden City Inn at 10:30 AM.

No elevator. We were on the 3rd floor. No problem for the first two days. Then we got tired. They were booked so we couldn’t change rooms.

I will definitely return! Front desk receptionist "Lunchbox" was extremely welcoming and with a smile! I loved seeing the staff interact with one another in a very joyful way! It shows that they enjoy working with one another which gives " healthy work vibes". All the staff members were friendly, knowledgeable, & accommodating! Room was clean and bed was comfortable! I stayed a double queen room, which came with a full size refrigerator, which was a nice surprise! They have a gas grill that is available in the patio! Pool and sun chairs and a nice patio seating are as well! They also have a small mini mart available which was very convenient! Location was quiet with restaurants within walking distance! I can't wait to return! Thank you all for ALWAYS making sure our stay was going well! To the Owner: You definitely have some OUTSTANDING staff members that definitely carry your facility with pride! I pray that you appreciate your them! And show them with small rewards. I am too a leader at my job and that goes a long way! Again thank you all for making our quick trip so amazing 🫶🏿💜

Great location

It states completely renovated but it needs some additional upgrades to the room we were in.

Loved the room and location. Staff was very nice. Beds were very comfortable and room was very clean.

Was not mentioned that there was no elevator when booking and our room was on the 3rd floor. I am a senior so toting luggage up 3 floors was not an option for me. I just went back to the car when I needed something. When checking in we were told we could only have one parking space. My sister was coming from NC and me from FL. I spoke to the front desk before we came to make sure we could leave our cars there if we arrived before check in time and was told no problem. I told them this and they did allow the 2 parking spaces thankfully.

The staff was so helpful and kind. They made special accommodations for me and supplied me with everything I needed to be comfortable. There's also a little convenience store on the property with friendly workers there also. I had to stay here for 2 weeks while waiting for an apartment to be ready and it really did become like home. Very reasonable pricing for the amount of time that I had to be there.

Unfortunately there is no breakfast at this hotel but they do provide you with a full size fridge, a coffee pot, and a microwave so it wasn't hard to stay here for an extended amount of time. They also have grilles that people can use so there's that option too. Also there was some occasional visitors that were unpleasant staying at the hotel. There was some yelling and banging on doors the first morning I was here. Some people just aren't considerate of others and they're loud in whatever they do, no matter the hour. Some would smoke in the rooms causing my room to smell even though the rooms are non-smoking. I think they need more staff to be able to enforce that rule and to manage situations like the one that happened the first day I was here.

The location was great - right on the ocean in Garden City. The hotel is an older one from the 1960s, it seems but it was comfortable and serviceable. The room was clean and the bathroom was fine. This is not a fancy hotel, but that was fine with us. We wanted a clean place right on the beach for a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking lot was great for our van, which is tall and does not fit into parking garages most of the time. So we were very happy with the parking. The hotel was located near restaurants and shops. We walked down to the pier and enjoyed some karaoke and beer in the afternoon. The pool seemed good but we did not use it. The beach was right there, with beautiful views from the balcony of the room. We carried our luggage up to the third floor so if this is hard for you to do, this may not be the place for you. But overall, we were very happy with the place and would stay there again.

We did not have a problem with anything at the hotel, really. The place is older and might need updating, but that is not important to us and was not a problem for us. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Was a really nice place to stay. The location was great and the room was clean.

The staff wasn't around at the front desk for quite awhile on Sunday late afternoon. There was a note to a number that nobody would answer. Also if you wanted to rent a golf cart you weren't allowed to park it on the property. Also dog owners aren't allowed to stay on the 1st floor and that is the only floor with a 2 bed room with a pull out couch.

Clean room, clean building and grounds, very quiet, friendly staff and feet from the beach.

No indoor pool, no restaurant on site and the bed was hard, but for some that might not be an issue. The room wasn't big, but more than adequate and the beds were clean. Its a small building and those are minor inconveniences for the excellent beach front access. We would definitely use this location again.
