We stayed here for three nights with our two kids. The staff was very friendly and accommodating our request to change rooms after the first night since they were right besides the communal kitchen (excessive noise) and we got a better room for the remaining two nights. Our kids loved it there and it was our second visit in 3 years. The breakfast ist very good, they even had vegan options available which is amazing and was much appreciated by all of us. Parking is right infront of the guesthouse and they use local Soley Organics cosmetics which is very nice. Also the interior is very nicely renovated and beds were comfortable.

First night rooms were a bad fit but as explained we got them changed from the lovely staff :)

Best accommodation we stayed in around the Wesfjords and maybe Iceland, cosy rooms, really cute decor, breakfast had great choices. A lot of attention to details, with high quality bathroom beauty products provided from Icelandic brand. We were really impressed by everything. We would love to stay there again and will definitely recommend to everyone.

Great to have use of the kitchenette. We were able to prepare an evening meal for 4 on one night which was much appreciated. Rooms were lovely, overlooking the harbour. We had beautiful en-suite bathrooms (some rooms share a bathroom). Good range of food choices for breakfast.

Couldn't get TV system to work.

This was the best guesthouse during my stay in Iceland, well located with wonderful views on the fjord from the windows of my room. Spottlessly clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast divine. Late check in was not an issue at all.

I made one big mistake: I have just spent 1 night here. I should have spent at least 2-3 days here. There is a lot to see in the Westfjords and distances are much longer than you would think. Bildudalur is very centrally located in the Westfjords - if you don't want to drive all the way long up here from Keflavik, you can also take a flight from Reykjavik to the small airport of Bildudalur. This is a purely magical, not overly touristy part of the island with a lot of amazing places to see and experience - book more nights here that what you plan, you'll not regret it.

Great room with a nice view out to the harbor and cliffs. Liked the easy, contact-less check-in and check-out. Breakfast buffet was simple but excellent. Next door to a good dinner restaurant. Free parking.

No fridge in room. Some loud noises from the bathroom sink drain in the middle of the night.

The guesthouse is in a pleasant harbour side location. It has been tastefully furnished and is a good blend of contemporary and traditional. There are nice areas for relaxing, fresh coffee on tap and a small kitchen area if you want to 'do it yourself'. There is however a nice, reasonably priced restaurant next door. Toilets and showers are modern and clean with a good selection of toiletries. Our room had a lovely view over the harbour. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice including home made cakes which were different on the two days we stayed.

Absolutely nothing to fault, probably the best accommodation we stayed in during our three. Runs very efficiently despite the fact that the only contact with staff we had was the girl who topped up the breakfast dishes and cleared the tables.

Wonderful breakfast! Certainly more than enough to fill you up for a day of exploring the Westfjords. Very comfortable bed. Great view overlooking harbor. Coffee/tea/hot cocoa pretty much on demand. Multiple clean bathrooms with very luxurious showers and soap/shower gel (Soley Organics!)

One of the burners on the upstairs 2-burner hot plate was inoperative. We were able to work around it and cook dinner just fine.

Enjoy my stay at the Harbour Inn Guesthouse. Clean an comfortable this was perfect accommodation for one evening on my way around the Westfjords area. I had a single room with Mountain/street View and it was spacious enough. There were shared showers and Kitchen facilities which were both really clean. In the morning there was a complementary continental breakfast available which I enjoyed. Communication was excellent throughout the booking process. I want to give a shout out to Stepanka who was on hand at Breakfast and when checking out for her warm welcome/smile which is always nice when you visit a new area/establishment. Would definitely recommend this Guesthouse.

We had a very pleasant stay. Everthing was clean and cozy. There is small kitchen where you can cook. The stuff offered us another calmer room beacause of some noise from harbour even if we did not demand it. Excelent breakfast. You can even take coffee to go when leaving.

This is an isolated location but we found the accommodation. was excellent. It was overlooking the Harbour and had an excellent restaurant next door and also petrol available right next door. Lovely helpful staff and good breakfast too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The road from not so far from the ferry end is gravel so we recommend guests head straight from the ferry in order to see the amazing scenery before it gets dark.
