We booked this on a whim as we just needed a quick over night stay. We were skeptical, as fair priced good hotels are hard to come by these days. So glad we booked here! Very clean, quiet and comfortable hotel right off the interstate. Secluded but still in walking distance of a Wendy's, gas's station and cracker barrel. Staff checking in were friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels we've stayed in recently for the price.

The gentlemen checking us in was great! However, when checking out we had to wait about 10 mins while the young lady chatted with the other staff outside the door.

I needed a quick overnight stay close to the airport. The only thing I cared about was a free shuttle to the airport the next morning. So, I didn’t need a lot of amenities, but it was very comfortable, very clean, friendly staff, delicious coffee, (and I’m extremely picky) and had a great hot breakfast the next morning. I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly impressed.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything not to like. As I say, I didn’t need much. Still, I think anyone would be perfectly happy to stay here for whatever their hotel needs are. And I thought the price was very reasonable.

We had an issue with our shower and we were moved immediately to another room. They were prompt about it. Overall I was very pleased with the hotel. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable.

I think the breakfast could have been a little bit better. The yogurt was expired by 1 day. And I wished that they had lids for the coffee cups available. That way those of us who are traveling can carry a cup to go. Overall I was pleasantly impressed.

The beds were doubles but they looked and felt like queen beds! Plenty of room for me and my little nieces. They were impressed with all the amenities like the waffle maker and fitness room and leaf shaped soap. They enjoyed the hotel so much, they wanted to visit it on the way home (we didn’t, but they sure wanted to)!

The sink being outside of the bathroom area, but that is normal in a lot of hotels nowadays.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of items. The facility was well kept. It was evident the building was older but the renovation that had been done was done well. All of items included with the room, such as microwave, fridge, hair dryer, and coffee pot, were very much appreciated.

The room was fairly clean. I did noticed a bit of dust on items such as tissue holder and some furniture surfaces. WiFi was not secure so I did not bother to access it. The door to the bathroom was a pocket door and was not functioning. It was not a major concern for me since I was traveling alone but it may become an issue for another guest.

It has a good location, is safe, the exterior looks well kept, and the continental breakfast was very good. Friendly staff for the most part.

The rooms need some TLC, cabinets do not function properly, bathrooms need to be caulked, and the mattresses are not comfortable.

Very comfortable mattress! Staff was courteous. Breakfast was plentiful and they kept the breakfast bar open past 9 AM.

Small maintenance issues in the room but nothing that disturbed my sleep or affected my stay. Trim around the refrigerator coming off and the bathroom door would stick. Room 228.

We stay here a lot when we are flying out of the TRI. The pillows are fantastic and they told me that I can buy them from the Choice Hotel website.

This time they were remodeling the hotel and the main reception room was covered in plastic. It really didn’t bother us, but I felt bad for the receptionist.

Loved the breakfast. Especially making a fresh homemade waffle. It was a nice surprise! Loved the accommodations like the hairdryer, shampoo dispenser, microwave in room, pillow top mattress, ironing board and iron. Loved that you allow pets!!

Bathroom floor could get a little slippery. Air conditioner was a little loud.

Shower is a little slippery and hazardous. Door mechanism a bit finicky to unlock.
