We wanted to express our appreciation for the excellent hospitality during our recent stay. The reception staff were exceptionally courteous and provided outstanding customer service, which made us feel truly welcome. The food was another highlight — a great variety and consistently tasty throughout our visit. However, we did notice one small disappointment: the dessert corner didn’t feature traditional sweets like Jelebi and Gulabjamun during our stay. These are favourites of ours

After dinner, we requested coffee and hot chocolate, but were informed that beverages were not included in the half board package. This came as a surprise, as other hotels we stayed at during our travels — such as the Courtyard Marriott in Kochi — did include such beverages as part of their half board offering. While we understand that policies may vary, this felt like a missed opportunity to enhance guest comfort and hospitality. A warm drink after dinner is a simple gesture that goes a long way in creating a welcoming experience.

We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar from 28th to 30th September 2025 during our holiday, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were modern, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The housekeeping team kept everything spotless, and small thoughtful touches made our stay extra special. However, we found the shower area to be very tight and congested, which was a bit inconvenient. A little more space or thoughtful design here would definitely enhance the guest experience. The dining experience was also excellent, both the variety and the service staff were always courteous and eager to assist. What really makes this property shine is the hospitality. Every interaction, whether at the front desk, restaurant, or concierge, was handled with genuine care and professionalism. Overall, Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar was a good experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amritsar for either business or leisure. We would be delighted to stay here again on our next visit.

The bathroom is quite small and inconvenient, they could have made a bigger area.

Excellent Food and stay. We had both breakfast and dinner during our 3 nights stay at the hotel and it was really good. A little more variety can be added though. There is always some scope for improvements. Behaviour of staff were at their best, very polite and courteous. Free pick up and drop to Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh is the best arrangement this hotel has and its very convenient for first timers in the city.

Dinning staff need some regular training and motivation from management to cater to the rush hour. May be a little more organized staff will make much better experience. We gave this feedback to the senior staff members and saw some improvement the next day. But that needs to be consistent on daily basis. Hotel staff shouldn't allow guests wearing their normal sleeping clothes to get inside the swimming pool due to hygiene factor. We couldn't use the pool due to this and felt a little dissatisfied. Probably, the guests who've have not used a swimming pool earlier can be educated. The swimming costumes could be made available on purchase basis for those without the costume but wanting to use the pool.

We liked the rooms - spacious and comfortable. The washrooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast spread was sprawling. The food was good in quality and quantity. Overall it was a great value for money. Above all, the service of the staff is especially notable - courteous, friendly and supportive. The services of Manisha, Aman, Ratul and Arinjoy in the dining hall have been specifically notable though several others kept helping all through..

The location of the hotel is not good. Also, the high ramps at entry and exit make it difficult to navigate especially for the senior citizens (the guards, however, tried to provide every possible assistance). It will be good if some alternate and more friendly access can be provided.

The hotel is very modern and room are very spacious. They organised our transportation to see the border celebration as well as our taxi to the airport and our driver was super nice and always on time! The hotel is not in the centre but probably 10-15 minutes by taxi/tuktuk and it is quite easy to get transportation back and forth.

We were told on our check-in that breakfast was included in the price , came to breakfast the next day and let the staff at the entrance know our room number and approximately 15 minutes later someone came to our table to let us know that it was not included in the price and we had to pay for breakfast...

The facilities offered were excellent. The breakfast and dinner spread had a wide and delicious variety. The rooms are big and clean. The staff Somnath was very polite and attended to our room daily keeping it so clean and comfortable for us. All the staff were very polite and helpful at all times. I would definitely return and recommend the hotel to others.

Our stay was so comfortable after long flight . The chauffeur we got arranged by the hotel was outside the airport on time was only 15min away. Check in was so quick and easy. and next morning we have shuttle to Golden Temple was again comfortable ride. All staff was so friendly at the reception and in the restaurant breakfast time also bar staff up at the rooftop. We will definitely stay here again whenever we back in Amritsar.

No faults everything was good!

The staff were friendly, including the driver that took us to the Wagah Border. The swimming pool was good and the breakfast was out of this world.

A number of minor things like the kettle wasn't powerful enough and the fact that the road outside the hotel didn't have good drainage. But it's not to detract from the fact that it's a great hotel.

Rarely do you find a courteous and polite staff right from the Vallet, the Reception Desk even the housekeeping staff. After a grueling long and tiring drive, I loved the warm smiles from the young and vibrant youngsters at the Marriott. A special shoutout to the team working the breakfast buffet who were always on their toes and catered to every need. Kudos to the management in grooming a well disciplined and welcoming team.

Many breakfast options were available, and the restaurant staff was consistently kind, always checking in on our needs. The gym surpassed my expectations; having stayed at Hyatt before, I appreciate the variety of equipment for my workouts. The staff even offered flexibility in opening hours for my convenience. Additionally, the pool was enjoyable, and special thanks to Razzak for his exceptional room cleaning service.

We had to share a key to our room, was inconvenient. We asked for a second key and they said they couldn’t. Eventually they got tired of taking one of us up to our room and gave us a second key. It’s the only place that has refused to give us two keys and I’d expect a guest-centric approach in a place so good.
