From the moment I walked in the person that was at the reception desk made me feel like I was a repeat customer! Very nice, very helpful! From the outside of the hotel it didn't look like anything special but inside was very nice, clean and laid out well. THe room itself was basic but clean, comfortable and good sized. If you get a chance to eat at the restaruant next do, DO SO!! Worth it with american size portions! Breakfast was good and definitly ate my fill! Overall I would stay here again with no hesitation! And on a side note, I bought some of their coffee and now wish I had bought more! WOnder if they ship it?

Nothing to complain about, two thumbs up!

Very large room for a single traveler, had two double beds/together- super nice. Room had a fridge, desk, table, 3 fans and a TV with a ton of channels. The real plus (for a Space A retired type with a one day delay), the hotel was 1/2 mile from main Ramstein AFB main gate, that and a 1 mile walk from main gate to passenger terminal worked out very nice for a early Sunday morning roll call when buses don't run (they only run monday-friday) and taxi's take forever to get to any hotel early sunday- only a 35 min walk with bag. Breakfast was terrific and parking didn't look problematic, a ton of places. Azur Pool is about a 10 min walk and Netto food store is about a 15 min walk.

The hotel is located just a few miles from the Ramstein AFBase. There is a bus that charge less than three Euros and goes around base. The hotel offers delicious and hearty breakfast every morning. Big Emma restaurant is beside the hotel that opens until late and has a variety of German exquisite food. The hotel is at walking distance from downtown and the train station.

The hotel doesn’t have elevator but I requested lower room and they gave me one which had a balcony.

I like that the staff really try to help you in anyway they can. Ivan helps us the most and was very empathetic to our situation. Our flight delayed for several days and we had to stay waiting until the plane was finally ready to take off. He helps us making phone calls and letting us stay even after checking time, and later on we stay in the lobby until they called a taxi for us. Thank you Ivan.

Even though we had several fans it was hot, but the fans helped a lot.

The location is just perfect , very close to the base where we wanted to celebrate my birthday with friends . The breakfast was awesome , the area is clean and the so the room. The check - in was easy and stress free . Free and uncomplicated parking .

The A/C was not working and we checked in when it was 22 degrees at night , the fan wasn’t a big help either . We noticed the two doors were widely open at night , meaning it was HOT that night . The hotel management should start considering to have their old AC and fan replaced for the guests’s comfort . I am a host myself so I know how important COMFORT of the guests is .

We recently stayed at Hotel America for two non-consecutive nights while waiting for a military Space-A flight back home from Ramstein. The staff was superb, responding quickly to any issues we had. The breakfast was excellent, and the coffee machine, which produced fantastic coffee, was available nearly all the time. On our second night, we arrived pretty early and initially planned to just ask if we could store our baggage until check-in time. However, the staff checked and allowed us to get into our room hours before our scheduled stay. This was a pleasant surprise. The Big Emma restaurant is right next door, and we were very pleased with the quality and price of the food. The location was great, with bus lines and trains just a short walk away, and the Wi-Fi was powerful. Highly recommended; they truly take great care of their customers!

The rooms were spacious and clean. Although the interior could use an update, which I understand would be a costly renovation, it was an extremely good value for the price.

Very convenient location to the AB. Staff is wonderful, restaurant next door is great. The room was huge and comfortable, the small fridge is really appreciated. Very clean. Freshly cooked eggs in the morning! Instead of the powdered eggs some hotels use. Free coffee (and very good one) all day! You also get to put the heating yourself in your room so it's perfectly adjusted!

The savoury options for breakfast were very little, but still good.

Very good hotel. comfortable and spacious rooms. We had a great time and regret that we only stayed one night. We traveled from Ireland to Hungary and this hotel was one of our stops, on the way back in 3 weeks we will stop again for one night. And we hope to try Big Emma as well, unfortunately we arrived late, so we didn't have dinner there, but we met the staff and they were very nice. I will recommend this hotel to everyone, and the fact that the dogs were with us was the best. Thank you so much everything.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel America! The breakfast was truly European-style, offering a great variety to start the day. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally helpful and cheerful, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!"

It would be nice to have a couch to sit on in the bigger rooms for added comfort.

The staff was fantastic! We were greeted warmly and treated well. Our train the next morning was early, and they even accommodated us getting breakfast a few minutes before the regular 6 am schedule. To top it off, breakfast was as good or even better than expected. Our room was made up perfectly to accommodate two children and one adult. No furniture adjustments or making beds required. The shower water pressure was amazing! After a very long traveling day, it was quite welcomed. We arrived on a very unusually hot day in Germany. With a little patience and understanding that air conditioners in Europe aren’t as “intense” it became quite comfortable, particularly since there was a table fan as well. We travel through Ramstein somewhat regularly. Now that we know about this hotel, we will be returning.
