Great location with a nice view of mount Shasta from outside the window of the lodge. It’s short 10 minute drive to the Shasta ski resort. Room was very clean and the owner was friendly and accommodating. Nice free continental breakfast. Bathroom appeared to be newly remodeled. Good size fridge was just big enough to keep a few days worth of food. Nothing like a hot tub after a day of skiing to relax and watch the sunset over mount Shasta.

Room was a little small but not too big a deal since we spent most of the days skiing/ snowboarding and exploring the town.

A very decent motel with quite a lot to offer. Nice pool and hot tub.

Management upgraded the light fixtures but the bulbs are cool and harsh (they gave me headache). Really need to fix that. Need more outlets (and by bed). We were woken up by the alarm clock going off at 1 AM! That was awful and ruined our night. I told the staff about it. They had been very nice but did not seem to care about that. I see that their prices have gone up. Not as reasonable as it used to be considering it is a motel. Would be really good to have updated blankets and cover.

630 am back window deer walked by. Beautiful ceramic inlay multiple places. Large ceramic spa and pool. Refreshing pins and needles shower head. Handicap bars in shower a plus. Quiet, away from freeway and town center, zero traffic noise. Full kitchen available for cooking. 4 cup coffee pot in room, microwave and mini refrigerator.

Great breakfast, gluten-free eggs, youghart, fruit, coffee: but only one type juice. Others enjoyed the pastry.

Overall, I would have to say that we got full value for the cost of our short stay... The bed was very comfortable, and the heating was really 👌 🔥 good..I was taken aback by the spread that was laid out for breakfast. Cereal, yogurts, bagels and cream cheese..loads of hot coffee, Pastries..excellent choice.. Not aware of any road noise whatsoever.. Would definitely stay here again if in the area .

We had a good stay overnight at this motel. It was in a beautiful location with views of the snow-capped mountains and with Mt. Shasta behind the motel. The room we stayed in was clean and surprisingly modern and renovated. The bed and pillows were decently comfortable. The parking was free and safe which was great. It was a simple check-in and out process. There was complimentary breakfast in the morning but we did not avail of it as we had to leave early. This place is dog friendly. It was a good stay for a stopover.

Swiss Holiday Lodge is just a couple minutes from town in a very quiet beautiful area but easy access to anywhere around Mt. Shasta and we could see the mountain from our window! The Lodge is surrounded by well kept grounds, has a wonderful gathering place with gas firepits, chairs & swings. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus, we made it 3 of the 5 nights we stayed, perfect for relaxing after a good day on the mountain. The continental breakfast even had a few extras, fresh peaches & pears, boiled eggs, toast, juices & drinks, plenty of variety for a continental style breakfast. Our room was clean & neat each day & the friendly staff took care of everything. We loved this little hide away and will come again. Thank you

The hot tub has 3 strong jets and a good view of Mount Shasta. But you have to tuck behind the handrails for two of the Jets. The rooms also have a nice view of Mount Shasta. The bed was firm and the rooms have both a microwave and refrigerator. The bathrooms have been updated with nice tile showers and lighted mirrors. Fans blow warm air in the bathroom.

The HVAC was noisy. The room was kind of small but fine for one person.

Unusually nice infrastructure touches.. the covered patio(s) with fire pits, bbq's(high end), hammocks, games etc. It feels like they are really trying. Rooms are comfortable and up to date. Would return in an instant. (pro tip to owners : exchange the wall light fixture bulbs in the rooms from the 5k bulbs to something warmer. Daylight temperature bulbs make you feel like you're in a gymnasium, not what you want while trying to read a book, in bed.

No complaints at all. My family & I really enjoyed our stay. The family who runs this lodge does a really good job. Room was clean, my kids loved the hammocks and I was able to make us a good meal and not spend money eating our because of the community kitchen. Waking up to Mt Shasta right in our back yard was amazing. Literally just open our curtains and their she was, speechless! Property was very clean cozy and free breakfast. I was literally living in Heaven On Earth! Thank You Swiss Holiday Lodge for making our first visit so memorable and we will definitely be coming back and stay again.

Of course the spa and pool, the grounds are beautifully ladlndscaped, plenty of area to spend time outside, cornhole, hammocks. Peaceful place, staff are kind, room was clean and all things worked.... we had a wonderful time there.

Just the guests above us slamming their work boots on the floor.
