very nice place. it's small and quaint. I had stayed there many years ago and was happy to see that they have upgraded the rooms and the bed was very comfortable, as were the linens. We LOVED being so close to downtown and walked down the block to explore, grab a bite to eat, and get our morning coffees.

My only complaint would be the train that goes right by the property, but there were earplugs in the room - I was very impressed that they were sitting there right next to the bed. They provided excellent earplugs and we both slept very well. I would absolutely stay again!

'My trip was longer than expected so I had to call and request a "late check in"...after 10:00pm...they have a system that worked so well it was AMAZING!! The building itself is warm and welcoming...especially after driving 9 hours!! The room was clean, comfortable and close to my vehicle. Loading and unloading was easy...as a Senior, I could use EASY!! The staff was incredibly kind, compassionate and graceful. The town itself is worthy of spending a full weekend, although I could only stay one night...I WILL return to feel and see the ambiance of Mt. Shasta!! Definitely worth the price!!

No Breakfast amenities were available at this location. But had a nice clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee/drink area to warm up leftover food from nearby restaurants or supermarket two blocks away. Room kept me warm without having to run the heater all night, and the bed was comfortable.

I chose to have a quiet room from the occasional train noise, so I was briefed that (the room change from original assigned one) or bathroom would be smaller with just a standup shower. The shower curtain didn't completely keep the bathmat dry and had to ask for another one with no issues, except to explain to the staff why I wanted another one. The toilet is almost right up to the sink. But, overall no big issues that kept me from enjoying my stay here.

The location on the edge of town is quiet, but still walkable to town. The facility is smaller than most and one story, which made it very user friendly. Was able to park the car in front of the room, so bag transport was easy. Friendly, helpful staff. Communication from the Inn upon booking and prior to arrival was excellent. Appreciated availability of adjacent side street parking while I was backpacking between my stays at the Inn.

Can't think of any improvements to suggest.

Not that we didn’t like just things to note; - heating great but noisy - train went through about 4 times during the night honking the horn, earplugs are provided but if your a light sleeper perhaps bring some of your own. wouldn’t put us off staying again as we found it all part of the Shasta experience

Location is superb. It is walkable everywhere in the Mt Shasta Down Town. The Facility is so clean and the energy is positive and pure. I am highly sensitive to the energy and environment. I was surprised when I walked in the property. The energy is so uplifting and clean. I could walk to Headwaters at Sacramento River to have a Living Water for Free Drinking. I love Cold Creek Inn very much. I highly recommend to stay here. It's memorable. I could do my morning meditation outdoor under the sunrise with green space for my grounding. Cute little place, nice dog break grassy area, clean, friendly staff. Big fridge.

Rooms on the street side are pretty noisy with car traffic and TRAIN noise, honking and rumbling given the proximity to the tracks. Earplugs are provided in the room for a reason. Air conditioner was too noisy to leave on all night when it was super hot. Couldn’t leave window open because of noise. Also strangely my room floor was sloped and walking around was odd.

Good location to explore the Mt Shasta area close to the main town, just a 5-min walk from the grocery store and restaurants. Easy check-in and out. The room was very clean and cosy with good amenities and fully equipped kitchen, with some useful info about the area. Wi-fi worked very well.

The main downside as pointed out in other reviews is the very close proximity of the rail tracks, which means passing trains will wake you up a couple of times during the night. It would have been nice with a couple of coffee supplies in the room for the coffee maker. The AC didn't really reach all the way to the bedroom in these hot days.

It was very basic but comfortable. Staff was great, before and during our stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate us!

There was no breakfast but there was a coffee maker & coffee provided with great water from the faucet! There was also a fridge/freezer and a microwave in the room. There were a couple of stains on towels but they were white and obviously clean.

Old fashioned Motor Court atmosphere, fitting the town very nicely. Handicapped facilities were excellent, with the room located at the end of the building closest to the pet lot. Even though the Ice and laundry area was adjacent, there was next to no noise noticed. STAFF was personable, and informative. We will be back there afain at some future time.

VERY LITTLE to dislike. Very close to a good restaurant, and fairly close to others....always a plus. The UP Rail runs trains a couple of times a day, but theres a screen of trees muting the noise from that....its kind of fun.
