It was clean and quiet. There is A restaurant in the parking lot, which was very much needed, due to the fact that no coffee was provided complimentary by Travelodge, at the same price as other Travelodge that do offer at least coffee. So, that actually makes the experience less appealing to stay there again.

No in room coffee offered. No outside shade/rain covering available. And if you have kids, this is a problem when it's raining. Or if you want to smoke, no shade covering is available on the property. No lobby to hangout in or sit and read. No table to sit at in the room. Mostly the place caters to the railroad/road crews. There is a huge lobby for them, with coffee , TV, games, etc...but it is unusable for the rest of the guests. I know, I asked.

No breakfast served at this facility. Nice location. Tripped me up as Wyndham not anywhere at or on building. I accidentally left at home my print out of the place w/o address and photo. But the place was still easy to find (in small town) and looked like the photo I remembered. But I only remembered "Wyndham", not Travel Lodge. Oh well, my fault. Easy access into hotel, except no elevator for rolling suitcase and cooler. Had to lug upstairs. Glad I'm in shape. ;-) Place very clean, pretty quiet overnight, no nightmare neighbors, had "normal" cable and I just had to press "ON" on the remote and was able to watch HBO, no charge. The previous night's place had little choice for "free" as most everything was charged/used by way of guest having password to Netflix or whatever. I do not, so Travel Lodge Dunsmuir was GREAT in that regard. I would stay there again.

All was good. Can't think of anything that I didn't like about the place. Ohhh, perhaps the curb at the entrance door could be enhanced by a smoother curb for roller luggage. Had to go out of my way to used one a few parking spaces down for my one heavy roller, But I survived. :-)

Very clean. Staff very helpful. Comfortable room.

Location is about 2 miles out of town. Need to drive to restaurants / businesses. If possible, request room on the east side of building to minimize noise from freeway (the west side faces the freeway - windows are double-paned so noise is minimized, but east side would be even better).

The property was easily accessible, right off the freeway. I liked that we were surrounded by trees and not a noisy street. I appreciated that there was a restaurant next-door. As I was traveling from one destination to another in this was a great place to stop.

Around 7 AM, staff were talking loudly right outside my door on the first floor. I wish that the coffee maker and sink had a little more space as there was no separate sink in the bathroom.

Deanna the head housekeeper was absolutely amazing. The room was super clean and comfy. She made sure we had everything we needed. WiFi stunk and we never got more than one bar. Penny dinner was clean and the staff was excellent. However breakfast was definitely way below average. Other meals were good. Due to the rain I wish you had a covered place to sit outside. I enjoy my coffee and having lunch outside without having to hang in the room or restaurant. Thank you to all.

Clean, nice room.

The check-in took a long time, because it was done by the staff at the diner who were serving people at the same time, so we had to wait long. After the long wait the lady did not say sorry, she was very rude, she told us about the rules of the place as if we were at a military base. No smile, strictness. In a way it was kind of funny, we did not take it seriously, but it was strange not to get a welcoming smile in the USA. :-) The lady at the checkout was the opposite, I have to mention that.

Easy access to freeway, roadside diner on site open 24 hours, friendly and chatty staff. Check-in was at the diner with diner staff, so depending on when you arrive you may need to wait.

Tucked away from everything else, have to drive down the road to get to town.

Great staff. And House keeper. Dena. Very friendly lady and hard worker. Keeps the Hotel in ship shape.

One small problem. You advertised a King room with 2 beds. King rooms have only one bed. Queen rooms 2 beds. The hotel was really good and gave us a room with 2 beds. But you should definitely check with them in the future and see what they have to offer and get it advertised correctly. 😃

I loved that there was a dinner on site that was open 24 hours a day. The Food was AWESOME! Both my husband and I loved the room, it was very comfortable, and loved the view of the trees,

This unit is listed in Dunsmuir but is really on the outskirts of town. I'm not sure if instructions list the exit, but we drove through the town for some time trying to find it. finally a local told where to go.
