There is a large guest room, dining room and kitchen in the main building.

This was my first time to do the self check in. There is no lobby or staff on site. Everything is done online. So first timer might take a little extra time to check in. But it’s very easy. The only thing is that room 30 is inside the main building and has no sign at all. The room is actually called “Bunker Room “, not room 30. I suggest the text be changed accordingly.

The cooler and hammock were an awesome touch. Unfortunately the weather turned on me and I wasn't able to use the bike rental.

I could hear every single step being taken above me louder than if it were in the room I'm staying in. Also, the check in process was a little strange. Texts with links to fill out information...I suppose I like the flexibility of being texted the room number and code as I arrived after office hours. But when I got a text to put a credit card on file for "incidentals" I tired to call and do that but the woman who answered the phone seemed to have no clue what I was talking about. Then I lost signal because Northern CA, and they never called me back, so maybe they didn't need it? Or maybe it was a phishing scam...? Who knows for certain?

Loved the community kitchen and the opportunity to use the BBQ outside. Also, that the rooms were equipped well with fridge, water kettle and coffee machine. And so much space for bags and suitcases. We've had a very comfortable stay. Need to stay longer next time.

We might have needed more pellets for the BBQ. We ran out and then changed to the oven in the kitchen. But otherwise, it's been great.

Location, easy free parking, spacious rooms, comfy beds, nice attention to detail on the room amenities. Has fridge, cooler, bike rack, coat racks, microwave, kettle, storage space. Coffee bar at reception is a nice touch!

The bathroom could be cleaner - specifically, the showers are kinda gross. It’s odd because the rest of the room and sink area are super clean and updated but the showers are full of stains and mildew. I’ve stayed in 2 separate rooms and both had icky showers.

Loved the keyless entry with code sent to us. The firepit was warm, inviting and we enjoyed talking to the hotel guests. The kitchen was great to cook dinner one night. We checked out bikes and rode the 2nd day after skiing. S'more were fun to make as we visited with new friends around the firepit.

The handrails gave me 2 splinters. The steps area and hallway needs repair work and paint. The shower head was pointed to the door so water went on the floor but was to high to change. We had ants the 1st night. No hair dryer and we couldn't find many electrical plugs to plug in our phones. Other guests at fire pit talked about the hotel info said you could make s'more but no one had any idea whete to get the ingredients. I started exploring and found the candy, graham crackers and marshmallows for s'mores in the room by the kitchen. That should have been on an info text. Everyone was so happy when I showed them where they were.

I love the accommodation for families traveling with children. Rented the family room and it was amazing. Free coozies and notepad to record adventures. Free bike rentals with stay. Loved the fire ring to enjoy! Also love the options for campers as we are frequent campers looking for places to stop and rest while on long trips. Contact less check in with easy instructions. Clean. Comfy beds. Fun!

I have no complaints

I like the outdoor feel of the motel. I was only here for one night but good to be supplied with bike rack, ice chest etc if I needed them. Hammock in room is unique and fun!

Bathroom needs upgrade! Painting over the old sink vanity is very cheesy and doesn’t look clean. No plug in sink drain. I almost lost an earring down the drain. You need to replace old sink vanities with new ones. As I sat on the toilet and looked at the floor edge of the tub I saw there is no rubber, wood or metal trim. Looks scummy with past years of built up scum. I assume it was cleaned as best you could without replacing tub but a piece of trim to cover the old would make a big difference in the appearance of cleanliness. I’ll agree with another reviewer that new bedding ; sheets, blankets, pillows would give the rooom a more fresh and classy appearance. I’m a longtime customer of Finlandia; sad that sauna was removed as is was a unique feature I always used.

The room was small, clean, dimly lit with storage for outdoor equipment but no place for a suitcase. I enjoyed the outdoor spaces with fire rings and the cafe in the office. The indoor community gathering room was cozy and comfortable. The staff were all helpful, friendly and happy. I will stay again!

I wanted more and better lighting in the room. Lamps were broken and bulbs were not sufficient to read. I would have liked a luggage stand.

The room was exceptional, especially the nature sounds that were on the charger in the room. The beds are very comfortable, room is very clean.

The only problem was we didn’t have a remote for the tv. We called and they provided us a remote within about a half an hour. I’m not sure if there is on site staff.

We really liked the grounds and the location. We spent time at the fire pit, BBQ, and coffee in the morning was great. There is a kitchen located behind the cafe and they allowed us to use utensils and what not. We walked into town and stopped at a few places on the way, neighborhood seemed nice.

Staff over the phone gave different info than the front desk staff. Not sure if the people who answer the phone are familiar with the location?
