Lovely location, perfect for a really quiet getaway Facilities in the hotel were good, the room was a bit dated but comfortable enough. Nice bathroom, tea/coffee and kettle provided. And free wi-fi. I would stay here again if I wanted somewhere quiet to escape to

There not much close in the way of shops, cafes etc but not really an issue if you have transport.

I was coming from Germany and was stuck in a traffic jam, which meant I wasn't going to arrive on time. The hotel arranged everything so that I could move into my room even late. It was the first hotel I have been to that had a place to hang a bathrobe or similar in the bathroom (often not even 4 star hotels offer this). Windows had fly screens, very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and sufficient at a fair price.

A really nice hotel, if you are exploring a country and want to learn how the people created the land for themselves. The hotel building was one of the very first structures on a new acquired land. Not far away from Amsterdam, so we used the location for a night stay, while visiting the capital. Driving on a dam towards Amsterdam is also a very special experience

The area is rather remote from city life, with positive sides and disadvantages of this. There is a nice fish restaurant in the marine nearby, though somewhat pricy. Equipment and sanitary utilities are somewhat on the simple side and not exactly the most modern. But all functions well.

Being very close to the harbour, on the edge of town, I loved the location. It is particularly good for people on a bike tour or trip. The staff were also particularly friendly and offered all assistance I requested. I loved the bicycle that was available for rent.

The restaurant that was recommended for dinner is beautifully situated, but very expensive and the dish I had (fish and chips) rather mediocre. I also thought the bed was very soft, and yet I slept well and woke without the back pain I was expecting.

Lovely big shower! Comfortable bed & liked the single storey layout of the properties. Really interesting to find out about the original purpose of the apartments, which was to house the workers who built the polders.

Nice and quiet place. Late check-in was bit a problem, we got very clear instruction how to do it. They have safe place to keep the bicycles.

When you arrive late there is nothing around to get a eg. bottle of water or a snack. Maybe a vending machine could be the solution?

a very different sort of place. our room was in a building from the original ‘workers village’ that built the polder in the late 1950s. very interesting. nice sunny room and comfy bed. lovely staff and breakfast

it’s a bit cut off. there is a bus and lots of taxis from Lelystad Station

The location is very good if you are looking to stay near the tulips fields and while traveling by car. The city center is 10-15 minutes by car, but you have a Lild and a very nice restaurant closer. We rented bikes directly with the hotel for a day for 15 eur (they also have electrical ones) and they were very well kept. The cleaning is very good, we came in after they cleaned and you can tell it was desinfected.

The pillows were too big and only 1 pp. If you want to do the tulip route you do need to buy a map/app that includes it. Otherwise is very hard to find the paths that leads you to have better access.

I really liked the atmosphere of this hotel. Stuff was very kind and helpful. Place is very nice and calm.
