We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Jonas. He is an exceptionally kind and welcoming host who surrounded us with attention, care, and warmth from the very first moment. The place itself was perfectly clean and radiated a cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was simply delicious — fresh, beautifully prepared, and made with love. Our experience couldn’t have been better. We left with the warmest impressions and the highest appreciation for Jonas and his hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend this place — it’s truly exceptional!

The room was lovely and I could take my black labrador dog..We were very well recieved by really friendly host...Breakfast was great and we didn't have to rush it, just relaxed atmosphere...Secure parking on the premises was nice..I was very late check in ,but the host was there waiting for me!! the room was well appointed, comfy bed and lots of windows and light..Very quiet....Super!

All good, but I had a car which really made a difference.

I really appreciate the owner who was friendly and helpful. I have been there alone for Defqon 1. The hotel owner asked another single lady who drove car from France 🇫🇷 for Defqon 1. I think that I was super lucky. Thankfully , we became friends for 4 days, went out and came back always together which was convenient and safety. Additionally, he took me to the train station 🚉, I really really appreciate. Thank you soooo much, Made me feel warm outside all by myself. Lovely and exquisite breakfast in the amazing hotel! Love here 🤡

The owner is ready very friendly and tries to make the stay as enjoyable as possible! Very clean and nice decorated rooms. As a holiday traveler I would easily give a 9-10, as a business traveler I give an 8 because some things are missing.

The Wi-Fi is really bad at the first floor rooms. It is weak and disconnecting continuously making difficult to have an uninterrupted video call. I think a repeater is missing from that floor. Would be great if the facility offers a normal ironing board. There is an iron but without a board it is difficult…

Small familly-ran B&B in a quiet area. Very large, stylish and comfortable room with all equipment you may need incl. minibar and electric kettle. Private parking. Kind host. Comfortable breakfast room with served breakfast (not the usual cold buffet). It was a pleasing change of mood in comparison to standard hotels I usually take on my business trips.

Quite expensive for B&B. Just simple breakfast. The electric vehicle charger is in fact just a normal 230V socket, you need to have your adapter.

The breakfast was very good, the owner of the place was very keen to make sure we enjoy and that we have everything we need. The rooms are big and clean, we were pleased by that. The only problem is the location, in the middle of an industrial area. It's not noisy or dirty, but it's not a standard place to stay in. If you only need a place to put your head, it's a great place. But it's not near the center of the city.

Everything. This is the de Luxe version of B & B. Great yard for relaxing, good ambiance, tranquil atmosphere, impeccable room, great breakfast and a super host. The de Valkenhorst just bodes for a very good sleepover.

The place is not in a very central position if you for some reason are desperate for city centre location, but you forget all that once you're there You have both eating possibilities and a supermarket less than 2 km away.

Friendly and welcoming host, view of green land, delicious breakfast in an inviting and interesting room. Comfy bed and room with tea and coffee, beautiful bathroom and robes. Bike to rent and get more quickly to Batavialand and the Natuurpark since I came on foot. And a delivery service back to the train, reasonably priced.

Nothing the hosts can do about the industrial park nearby.

I have been to hundreds or hotels, from hostels to 7 stars but this one is amongst the best. The host is very considerate and jolly natured guy and goes out of the way to make you conformable. Room is everything you need and spotlessly clean Breakfast is nice too with great coffee The surrounding is serene with open field in front Little far from Lelystad centrum but easy connectivity with bus

What I didn't like is the fact that I could not stay for longer, its such a comfortable place where you would always feel welcomed

Heartwarming welcome by the host upon arrival. Very cosy breakfast area and excellent breakfast. Very correct and friendly host. The family room has a small private terrace which is very nice to sit.

Thin walls so sound of kids from other guests could be heard, for us not a problem, but could be for other guests.
