We considered Trinity Beach is the best of the Cairns Coast locations. Convenient, beautiful, well maintained yet not too busy. Public transport (bus) to Cairns City available. From our unit we had an excellent view of the beach. Great mornings on the balcony. Enjoyable walks along the beach length pathways. Lot of seating and cooking areas provided the length of the beach and all well kept and clean. On The Beach Apartments cleaned the site every day including the pool and spa. Attended promptly to the small issues that we had in our apartment (with a smile). We had a most enjoyable 9 day holiday.

Obviously a great location, quiet block appeared to have many residents which was nice. Lots of good extras on offer - washing machine & dryer, kids bowls & cups. Room was very clean and parking was a great help. a good stay!

A little noise from other buildings but not too much. Overall room was dated, bed & couch were overly soft, pillows were very high. But we were tired enough we slept fine. Would appreciate some beach towels being that the place has a pool & is on the beach but I’m sure I could have asked at reception. Tv / streaming services were a pain to work out/didn’t work. Didn’t care enough to ask.

Excellent location close to restaurants and across the road from the beach. Quiet road as it's a dead end. Small complex with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Spacious apartment #3 on the ground floor. Very clean. Looked to be newly refurbished with nice decor and comfortable lounge suite. Good dining area, but we tended to eat outside on the cafe table. Good washing machine and drier. Bed was comfortable but could have done with another medium pillow. The pool area was good. It's not a big pool, but ok for the number of guests in the complex. Everything was very clean

Ground floor apartment #3 didn't have sheer curtains, so there was no privacy during the day from the pool users or passersby. The view of the beach was obscured by plants around the pool area. I would have preferred an apartment on the 1st or 2nd floors for the view, but none were available. The small air-conditioning unit in the living wasn't efficient at cooling down the apartment. There was another older one in the bed but it was too noisy to run at night. No ceiling fans only table fans that were noisy to run at night, too. Small refrigerator. The shower over the bath was a bit awkward to get in and out of.

I had two bookings one bed for my uncle who was very happy and 3 bed for my family. We all enjoyed our time. The apartment was great. I have stayed at in the beach about ten years ago and it remains a great location to stay. Would recommend to friends. Beautiful sunrises and swims. We were blessed with great weather 😊

Loved the apartment. The 3 bed front door has an issue with it slamming because the pressure thing that slows the door for a soft close is broken. Not a big issue as we placed a towel there but the neighbour initially was not so happy as it happened a few times when we first arrived. Also a set of kitchen tongs and cutting board would be awesome.

Clearly the building has been around for a while but given the upkeep it is perfectly fine, well maintained and perfectly positioned. It is well away from the centre of the Esplanade which can be a little noisy and directly opposite the patrolled part of the beach. For those less agile there are ground level appartments for easy entry, particularly with heavy luggage or bags as there is no lift.

Perhaps the appartment is a little on the small side but in saying that, you get what you pay for, it is perfectly acceptable b

Thoroughly enjoyed the view from our ground floor apartment across the pool to the sea and the convenience of walking directly across the road to the patrolled safety netted beach and the 4 minute stroll to restaurants, shops and the bus stop. The room was very clean and comfortable with separate air-conditioners in the living room and bedroom and a well equipped kitchenette. We enjoyed the warm water and size of the pool and jacuzzi, the surrounding gardens and BBQ that were all well maintained on a daily basis. The carpark is conveniently located at the back of the apartment. I would definitely stay here again.

Lack of security onto the property as a group of young men walked in off the street late afternoon when reception was closed with an esky and a couple of dogs to use the pool and drink alcohol. There's also no handrail for the in ground jacuzzi so it was difficult to get in and out. Climbing in and out of the bathtub to shower was also awkward whereas a walkin shower is easier and safer. The room is only serviced once a week for long stays and there was only a broom and mop in the apartment, so I highly suggest a vacuum cleaner be included for the carpet as we asked to borrow a vacuum cleaner but had to wait 6 days for the carpet to be cleaned.

Sadly No elevator..:-( 32 stairs to top floor.. Bad phone reception & Wi-Fi cutting in & out. Really small narrow bath with no safety hand rails. Hot swimming pool temperature, obviously due to really hot weather. Noisy drunk loud young patrons in swimming pool until late at night, pretty sure had come in from appartments next door..

Beach front location with beach access across the road where netted area and beach showers are. Dated but quiet building with lift, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with balcony facing sunrise (actually next building to On the Beach, called Seashell boutique apartments). Sound of ocean waves 24h. Very comfortable bed. Good hot shower and pressure. Well positioned near Il chiosco cafe with excellent coffee, brunch, lunch and dinner options and 'main' shops (pub, convenience store, NV Cafe and Italian restaurant). Bus stop for 111 bus is also near main shops and takes you to Cairns for $4.20 (1h trip) or to Smithfield shops (has Coles and Woolworths) for $3 (1/2 h trip), bus only accepts cash and stops and timetables are easy to navigate by downloading Moovit app. Friendly locals and no riff raff. Very enjoyable stay.

Air con didn't work on arrival, so during the first night the heat was unbearable but issue was resolved the following day. Dated decor and furnishings, old carpet in bedrooms, peeling laminate from bathroom cabinets. Microwave didn't work. No washing sponge in kitchen. No box of tissues. No USB bedside charger. Extended episodes of rain resulted in debris and brown water at the beach, probably runoff from the river which isn't far away. There was a 1m crocodile sighting one afternoon which closed the beach for the afternoon. The locals had seen it swim away so no one was worried. There have been stingers at the beach but fortunately no stings experienced by our family despite daily swims.

Great location, central to everything we needed. Walking distance to local bars and eateries. Very quiet.

No lift for luggage, had to carry our luggage up 3 levels of stairs. A few basics not supplied, cutlery is lacking (only 1 steak knife) and no salt or pepper. Cooking facilities need an upgrade, limited options for preparing meals. Larger blockout blind needed in the bedroom as the security lights from outside light up the bedroom even with the small blind down. Lighting in the apartment could do with a change out from the warm yellow lights to cool white.

Loved the location, great flow in the apartment. Loved the outdoor seating area. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. Perfect location for a family holiday. We didn't realize the apartments are individually owned and the names on the map ie blue Marlin is the building, not the apartment. , Nancy the lovely girl at reception explained she can send a video if possible. The photographs on site are a random mixture of some under the umbrella of On the Beach apartments. Our apartment was nicely decorated.

It is a little tired but great value.
