Modern, clean, quiet, and secure. Awesome heated pool. Comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen with most cooking facilities. Would stay again. Management replaced an older model tv (first generation streaming circa 2015) with a brand spanking new smart tv after a week of frustration. Read below for the rest of the story.

Although the updated Starlink internet service was faster than most other places we've stayed out, the signal into our room was a single bar most of the day and two bars in the evening. The potential speed of 90Mb/s that was experienced around the resort grounds rarely surpassed 2Mb/s in the room where it was needed most. The lower speeds meant endless buffering on streaming services and useless for uploading. We were forced to use our own Optus mobile internet for the entire stay. SOLUTION: wifi /extender tested and fitted close to each unit entrance. Our room was part of a block without lift access, which suited us. Some guests might want to choose a room with elevator access in other blocks.

Highly recommend this exceptional property. The Manager, Brian works hard to ensure the grounds & facilities are clean, maintained & in pristine condition. Blue Lagoon is an excellent location, with convenient parking, a short walk to Trinity Beach & a selection of restaurants. The staff are professional, helpful & kind, especially John, Joleen & Stacey. The pool is very clean with a view of the Lagoon. facilities were adequate, the pool and lagoon were great to either sit in or ponder and watch the world go by. The grounds were well maintained. The resort is very well situated to restaurants and the beach. Supplies provided were adequate and additional supplies were closely available. Some exceptional restaurants and bakeries are only a short stroll away.

available parking was on a first come first served basis which could mean you may have had a short stroll to your complex. some of the blocks didn't have lifts and could mean a climb of stairs with luggage if you hadn't expressly asked for a lift accessible block or ground floor apartment.

location was great out of the city but very close to travel to, Pool just out our door was great, and room was all we needed , clean, comfortable bed, was a short walk to the beach and restaurants, Staff were very helpful. would love to come back one day.

The only thing it was hard to see the block & room numbers from the road as we arrived in the night, as they were on the slide of the building not the end to see from the road. Maybe you could put another on the end of buildings. Not really a dislike just thought may help others.

The room was comfortable and kitchen well equipped. The resort location was close to shops and restaurants. The pools were amazing, especially having a heated pool. Large balcony with dining table, overlooking the pool and trees was stunning! Was close to Cairns for sightseeing activities and drives to more southern locations.

Our room was at the front of the resort, on the main road, near the bus stop, so it was a bit noisy. The gym was small and not so well equipped for such a large resort. It was a pity the pool our room overlooked wasn't heated too, but we were lucky with the weather - 28-30 degrees every day, so was not such an issue. No lifts to second floor room.

Loved our stay at Blue Lagoon. The facilities and location was perfect. So close to the beach and restaurants. We stayed for 6 nights and plenty of room for the family. Only downfall is we should have booked a room with 2 bathrooms and it would be nice to get a change of towels if staying for a certain duration of time without charge. So close to drive up to Palm Cove and Port Douglas. Otherwise we would recommend the property and definitely hoping to come back in the future.

We loved the location.. the different types of bird calls, the proximity to the beach front without the noise and the wallabies that appeared in the gardens after dark. There were lots of food options within walking distance and we found it central for visiting places via car from Port Douglas and Mossman Gorge through to Karunda and the tablelands. It was great also being able to make our own meals when we wanted and the pool each afternoon was lovely to come back to after a long day of sight seeing. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, good facilities, spacious accommodations. The staff was very attentive and provided additional kitchen utensils upon request.

Wi-Fi was bad. It kept disconnecting, the speed was slow, and in the evening was nearly impossible to connect. The water in the pool was very warm, like a hot bath, although this understandable as it is exposed to the hot sun all day long. Our block had no covered parking, which is a problem in the hot summer days. There is an underground garage which, while usable, requires a lot of manouvering if you have a larger car (e.g., SUV).

Loved the location not far from the beach, just a short walk down the road. Gardens were lovely clean and tidy ..very close to restaurants. the room was perfect and had everything we needed.

The lounge was old....not very comfortable. Definitely needs replacing. The aircon on the balcony had not been cleaned in a very long time . There is no lift ,only stairs in this block. People smoking outside drifting into the verandah.but ya can't do much about that. Overall, the price was good. We would definitely recommend staying at the Blue Lagoon Resoet again ...

The apartment was lovely, location is great and price is reasonable. Within walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

The bathroom door came off. Ran out of toilet paper. The shutter wall thing doesn't stay shut, so privacy in the bedroom is non-existent. And the trundle bed collapsed. Finding that the couch was actually a sofa, we put the trundle mattress on that every night. The fry pan in kitchen ruined pancake day, no matter how much oil we used they just stuck to the pan. 😢
