This is a fantastic location with a lovely open garden & pool setting. It is directly across the road from the beach & very close to a couple of very decent restaurant options. It is also conveniently across the road from the bus stop for Cairns. Trinity Beach is a quieter, more relaxed option compared to Palm Cove & Port Douglas. We were not after shopping or a wide range of restaurants & this was perfect for us (family of four, 2 adult children). For swimming in the ocean & reading books by the pool, this was a great option. Added bonus was the live music at the restaurant next door at about 3pm each afternoon. This really added to the holiday atmosphere. The rooms were a little dated but with such reasonable rates, great location & spacious facilities, who cares? Loved our stay here & would happily return again.

Good location, big size for a two bedroom apartment, lovely views, very clean and tidy the whole resort. Cafes and bars all in walking distance. Apartment was well equipped. At reception lots of your guide pamphlets

No lift and we were on the top floor hugging suitcases up flights of stairs, not great. Only one local general store wanting $9 for small tub of butter and $7 for loaf of bread, extortionate prices. Needed a car to get around. In our apartment one of the rooms the aircon was not working and unable to be fixed during our staff. Pool side loungers were so uncomfortable. The beds in the apartment was like sleeping on a water bed, awful.

The position of the resort is excellent: beachfront, quiet, beautiful gardens, bus stop and eateries and convenience store across the road, great Italian restaurant at door, tavern 2 minutes walk. It could not be better. Shopping centre with supermarket, chemist, doctors surgery, newsagent, bottle shop and artisan bakery within walking distance (2 bus stops). Lovely pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had Unit 33, which was beautifully furnished, great big balcony.

There was not a single sharp knife in the kitchen drawer, we had to go out and buy one. Toaster was old and small, and single bed mattresses not comfortable.

We stayed in Villa 2. The property required a great deal of maintenance. 1. Cupboard in main bathroom was only doors. 2. Taps missing in bath 3. Air conditioner in master dripped even though it was set at 23. 4. Throw cushion on couch stained. 5. Kitchen drawers needed cleaning, 6. Oven tray doesn’t fit in oven. 7. Water damage in the kitchen. 8. Vacuum cleaner had a terrible smell when in use. 9. Overall the property needed some attention.

Loved our stay. The location was awesome, we were tossing up between palm cove and trinity beach and so glad we decided upon Trinity beach. Coral Sands Resort has easily the best location to stay in trinty beach. Right on the beach and super close to pubs and restaurants. The swimming pool and grounds were immaculately kept and huge! The 2 bed apartment was huge and the shower had great pressure hot water. We would definitely stay again when up in FNQ.

Probably the stairs to get to the room but it was no major concern. Possibly older people would be best to request a ground floor level room

Great stay at Coral Sands. Wanted somewhere relaxing to stay to recover from 30hrs travelling from the UK whilst we did the great barrier reef, and this was a fantastic find. Great accommodation and reception staff were excellent, sorting a few things for us such as 3x taxis. We had a 3 bedroom villa, #7 well equipped to a good standard. No issues. Bus stop over the road for regular bus into city centre was a bonus - adult return $8.40 and just 5-10min walk to the harbour. Great location just 50m to the front and Trinity Beach but Coral Sands was quiet with lovely beach. Some great bars and restaurants just round the corner on the front with handy local shop oppothat had all basics we needed ro self cater when not eating out. Recommended

Perhaps a little bit away from city centre but that was exactly what we wanted. 20mins taxi from airport

Location is good

The day we check in Aircon in one of our room was not working we told reception staff next day they send in housekeeping staff to look into it but they were not able to fix aircon. Weather up there was so humid to stay without aircon it’s hard. I email them they told me they can’t di much of it as aircon is broken and was told by them they will refund some part of my money back they have talk with villa owner. I have not received anything from them.

I was very impressed by the two-bedroom suite: It's the perfect solution for accommodating the whole family. Having our own fully equipped kitchen in the room was very convenient. It allowed us to prepare our own meals and save on dining out. The availability of a private washer and dryer was a big plus, especially during our extended stay. It made our stay more convenient and comfortable. The hotel pool turned out to be a fantastic place to relax and unwind after a long day. I enjoyed its luxurious atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, providing me with a great night's sleep and full relaxation. The proximity to the beach was one of the hotel's main advantages. Being just 50 meters from the beach allowed us to easily enjoy seaside strolls and beach relaxation. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of dining options for lunches and dinners.

At the moment, I didn't find any drawbacks.

Great value, great location! Property backs up right onto trinity beach. Spacious apartment style units with full kitchen and laundry in unit with detergent provided. BBQ and pool available for guests although we did not have time to use them. Late check-in was super easy.

Small parking garage is difficult to maneuver but street parking appears to be free. Some small ants in kitchen but to be expected given the climate. A trap was already set up for them and they did not bother us.

Beautiful apartment with a large balcony over looking the pool area which was lovely. The beach was just across the road for morning walks or a swim. Rooms were spacious and the whole apartment was very well equipped. Would highly recommend this property.

There were no lifts so we had to carry our luggage up to the top floor. Fortunately we're quite fit pensioners but would have struggled otherwise. A warning when booking would have been beneficial.
