location was great and the amenities were perfect for a family.

The staff didn’t really go above and beyond to assist us. We carried our own bags to our room, we had chase down fresh towels as there was no make up service during our stay. These are such small items but would be expected given the price.

The location was fine, the steak restaurant lovely food, but the other restaurant didn’t cater for all tastes. The accessible room was great, and thank you for arranging that.

The tiles at the front of the hotel, though pretty, are dangerous when wet. I saw numerous people slipping, and some fall, and whilst I moved very slowly and cautiously, my walking crutch did not like the wet tiles at all. They are an unacceptable health risk for anyone. I was asked twice on my travels where I had stayed, and when I named the hotel, locals , without prompting spoke of the tiles being a big issue. The green screens blocked much of the view sadly.

Again, I say the most important thing with accommodation facilities, is the Staff. I found the staff here to be above and beyond and deserve recognition. Great room, large and comfortable bed, great bathroom (larger towels maybe and face washers would be nice), great location, altho parking can be a bit of a pain. Breakfast at CCs was great and at $38 reasonably priced in today's market. I had a snack at Arte which was fantastic, and I've had dinner at CCs previously so I know what a great place and great food it is there. Got a snack from Pachamama which was OK, might try something else next time I'm there.

Room Service was a bit short on choices to be fair. Some simple choices, like a steak sandwich, a normal hamburger and maybe pizza as options would be nice. I actually had a Kids Chicken & Chips w/salad for one meal. Salad was a joke, green leaves do not pass as a salad :-). For once, the wine price was reasonable, maybe a bit expensive for the actual Vineyard, but under what I see at most places. Could do a bit of a rethink on the price of a beer tho. $12 for a Corona is a bit over the top. A carton of Coronas at Dans will run you $55, that works out to $2.30 each. An 80% markup is a bit rich.

The hotel is at the center of downtown Cairns, which is just a few minutes walk to the seaside, night market, and many restaurants and grocery stores around. The room is not particularly spacious but clean and comfortable. I do enjoy the capsule espresso in the room. There is basically not much to complain about the room facility. Even the city view is not bad. You may see the mountains or hills far away since there are no other tall buildings around.

The shower stream is a bit weak and the cover of the hairdryer in my room is detached, which should be easily fixed, although it still functions well. The side table is too far from the bed and the reading light also does not work well due to the lighting angle. The price is somewhat expensive but probably expected for a five-star hotel.

Great location. Very convenient and close enough to the esplanade and other daily amenities. Surrounded by tropical flora and the majestic Moreton Bay fig trees across the road it's a calm and relaxing environment. I love the experience of the jazz music playing in the background, it fills the air and makes for a wonderful experience. The tropical and sustainable decor touches, those experiences are the reason why it is second time back at the property in almost as many weeks. I dare say it will be my accommodation of choice when visiting Cairns.

Cannot be faulted from my perspective.

Very high quality room for the price - pleasantly surprised. Can’t argue with the location one block from the Esplanade and easy walking distance to anything you’re likely to want in Cairns City. Very nice pool and sauna, serviceable gym.

The Crystalbrook chain is another that has sadly succumbed to the influence of the experience marketing people. They pump very strong fragrance into the reception and public areas because some clever salesperson tells them that this improves their clients olfactory experience of their hotel and helps them form positive feelings about it. Unfortunately, to many of us it smells something like if a moose was 6 days dead and someone tried to cover it up with a tonne of rotting fruit. Please stop!

Clean and crisp. Very modern rooms well fitted out. Heated pool. Close to my favourite places in Cairns. The measure of the staff is how well they go above their regular duties to satisfy guests. I can say my interactions with the housekeeping and the follow up from front office personnel (following an issue) were excellent. Sarah evn took the extra time to show me why my chromecast was not connecting.

I booked a 1 bedroom suite with sofa bed, as I was travelling with my son. This way, we had separate sleeping areas. Upon arrival, the sofa bed was not made up and had no linen provided. When I returned to reception, I was told the sofa bed was not required as there were only two guests on the booking. Once I explained that there was a reason for me to book the extra sleeping area, they very quickly sent the linen up. I did have to make up the bed myself. Not really the service I would have expected considering the room rate.

Super clean, nice staff, very comfortable. Loved the movies on offer. I don't know if we were just lucky with our room location, but one thing we loved was that room service never bothered us or knocked on our door when we were there somehow, even though we hung out in the room until quite late some mornings or dropped back in the afternoon - yet room service always passed by and made our bed and tidied up. It felt very luxe and also meant that I didn't feel stressed about people randomly knocking on our door. Nice and quiet location too in short walking distance of everything. Room had everything we needed and then some. It was nice to be in a fully serviced hotel with staff and good security - really appreciated that because some areas nearby don't feel the safest, especially at night (mostly walking opposite direction to the esplanade/boardwalk).

Kind of an odd smell hovering about in the corridors sometimes? Not sure why, not a big deal but not great. Breakfast was just okay for the expensive price. Our fridge door didn't close properly in the room so we lost a tub of yoghurt and some milk cos left it there during the day and it didn't stay cold.

Excellent location, very close to food shops, the night markets and the esplanade. The hotel room had all the mode cons and even a coffee machine. I would even rate the bed as one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. Highly recommended and a the most perfect place for a one or two night stay.

Had a bit of a wait at the front counter while staff chattered away to other guests. Maybe more than two staff on during the day could help with this. It Really is a minimal thing, and only because I was in a hurry for an appointment.

Lovely new hotel, clean and beautiful decor. Staff very friendly. Check in & out very quick and smooth. Included breakfast was fantastic - lots of gluten free options and staff very knowledgeable. The pool & restaurant area looked great, but we only popped in while the restaurant was closed so can’t comment on the food but looked like a great place to spend an afternoon.

Room little small for 2 people & bags. water comes out from under the shower screen (I think by design) and drains into drain that goes across entire bathroom - leaves bathroom floor unnecessarily wet for others.
