Staff were kind and friendly, and were accommodating to fix the issue with us being assigned a different room to what we booked/agreed previously. They got us into the correct room after one night in a different room. Rooms are spacious. Kitchen is well equipped, including with some appliances not usually found in short stay apartments. Location was walking distance to a few nice cafes and restaurants. It's an easy drive to Cairns city and the airport. Trinity Beach area is laid back and quiet.

Some extended wait times at reception (to check in, then to ask a question, and to request a pool towel). Even when ringing the published phone number as it was unattended several times for long periods we were unable to get through and stood around waiting. On one occasion multiple people were waiting, and after more than 15 minutes we all gave up and left. It would be helpful if the staff had a portable/mobile phone that the reception phone number could be diverted to, so they are more easily assessable to guests.

We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom seafront apartment with the most massive patio area! It had a nice pool area. The room was a little dated but had everything we needed and was super clean. It was very close to all of the cafes, restaurants and shops and right across from the beach.

The sofa in the lounge had seen better days and was quite uncomfortable for my husband who has a very bad back. There was nothing else to sit on. The spa bath was impossibly high and deep and the shower in the master bedroom was very very small. The parking spaces in the underground guest car park were very narrow. Having quite a big SUV, because the person in the next bay parked right on the white line, we had to park in the visitor parking for the duration of our stay.

The unit was very large, and the kitchen is really well-equipped. Good location (near to the beach and restaurants) and the AC worked very well.

We arrived at 4:30pm (within check-in hours) but reception was already closed. I did not like the fact that they just left an envelope with the key to my room out in the open for anyone to take. There could be a way better system (I.e. lock box) if they choose not to keep reception open during check-in hours. Also we were given a free “upgrade” to a two bedroom unit, however were told that if we used the second room we would be charged $40/night. This just added unnecessary confusion given that reception wasn’t open when we arrived. Also they provided a limited number of products (soaps etc) and said they would not provide more for our stay. We were able to manage, but for this price, it seems unreasonable to set a cap on necessities.

The location is unbeatable. Right on the water but easy walk for groceries and heaps of delivery options. The kitchen had everything you need- utensils, kitchen gear. Our apartment had a massive veranda- bigger than the apartment itself. It also had a washing machine and dryer and they supplied a few packets of detergents as well. This place is very thoughtfully managed. The pool area was clean with a BBQ and shower as well. The staff here are doing an amazing job.

The apartments are slightly worn inside however it was spotlessly clean.

The large patio with outdoor seating and bbq set. Beautiful location on beach front and can feel the sea breezes and hear the waves breaking on shore. Amazing sun rise views from outdoor patio. The lift was a relief for upper floors when you have heavy luggage. Well equipped kitchen. Apartment very clean and well maintained. Coffee shops/restaurants a short stroll away

The bath with shower in was claustrophobic. Car parking spaces a little narrow

I will be honest... I was originally given a 4 bedroom apartment on the guise of an upgrade. It was not! I was jet-lagged and exhausted and extremely disappointed because it was not like the apartment with a balcony that I had originally booked and was looking forward to after a long-haul international trip. However, not one to make a fuss, I actually managed to generate the strength to inform the receptionist of my distress and disappointment. She was absolutely amazing and empathised with my concerns and obvious distress and found me an apartment like the one I had originally booked. It was more than fantastic! I was so happy and felt at home and safe instantaneously. It was clean, with a lovely atmosphere, and the views of the sea were incredible. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom with a spa bath and separate shower was brilliant. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc, for the guest to use to cook an enjoyable meal. There were many restaurants and places nearby to socialise and enjoy a drink or two. The walk along Trinity Beach was beautiful and refreshing.

The only thing I did not like was the first apartment I was given for several reasons (too many to list). However, all was beyond wonderful and positive when I moved into the apartment with a balcony and sea view. I would definitely recommend Sea Change apartments and would like to stay there again on day.

The pool is excellent , staff are great and accommodation is clean and tidy. It is front onto Trinity beach. Good Restaurants and Trinity Tavern nearby.

The clothes airer was broken and had been taped which did not work - we have a similar one at home which cost us $20 one would think it would be replaced. In this day and age a simple capsule coffee machine like a De'Longhi Nespresso Essenza Mini Capsule Coffee Machine would be more beneficial than an ancient Espresso coffee machine.

The apartment was perfect for couple, family or families. It has everything we need for cooking. The living room is huge with access to the balcony which shows off a stunting sea view! The pool was nicely maintained where we were able to actually swim a bit distance! It is just few minutes walking distance to the beach if you want to swim in the sea. In terms of location, it is very suitable to people like us who just want to relax and have a walk along the beach.

enjoyed the clean & calm water of the pool one late afternoon. this outdoor area is well equipped for a drink or BBQ. it was wonderful to hear the sound of the waves from the balcony & watching the passers by whilst having breakfast. the beach is just across the road so no need for a car to get there. location is within walking distance to the restaurants & town centre. property ie kitchen bathroom is well equipped also had a the hidden laundry.

horizontal blinds in the back room facing west did not close properly so found the outdoor night lights gave too much light during the night.

We had a pool access room (number 2) which was perfect for the kids, the location is across the road from the beach and we had water views from our out side area. The kitchen was very stocked and we were able to cook everything we could possibly want. Air conditioning to the whole unit and free wifi

Poor mobile reception however due to the free wifi this wasn’t an issue
