We were happy with our choice : - very nice situation facing the Rhine. - the room has a balcony with armchairs. - very warm welcome from all the staff. - we had a good diner on the terrace which is idyllic by nice weather.

- But guests have to know that it could be problematic by warm weather as the rooms have no air-conditioning. - We also thing the overall offer is a little expensive for what we get (small bedroom, no fridge... )

I stayed at Hotel Rheinpromenade8 for one night during my 18-day cycle ride along the Rhine with just 2 days to go before I reached Amsterdam. The hotel is exquisitely located overlooking the Rhine and I could see barges moving up and down the river from my room. I ate lunch on the verandah and also breakfast the next day. The food was good but not exceptional. The staff were attentive but a little rushed. The inside entrance to the hotel is reached through the dining room which is somewhat odd and makeshift. But the hotel had a lot of character and was filled with guests enjoying the view of¡ver the river. The storage for my bike was very convenient in a garage a few minutes walk from the hotel. And it's a locked facility so is secure...this is not always the case I've found. You get a key the following morning to retrieve your bike. My room was perfectly adequate with a wonderful view over the river and I had a good night's sleep there. I'd stay again at Hotel Rheinpromenade8 if I was cycling on anther trip.

The single room was a little small but with such a terrific view over the river, the size of the room didn't matter.

Super easy online check-in. Clean room with big enough bathroom. Well designed small space that works perfect for a short or overnight stay.

You might need to take a few stairs up but we only had carry-on luggage so that was not an issue, but can imagine it is difficult for anyone who brought a large suitcase with them.

Very comfortable family-run hotel with a super friendly team who take their job of looking after you serioiusly. Perfectly situated for a stop on my cycle tour in the area, the hotel also has a secure garage for bicycle parking. The restaurant was also excellent, for both dinner and breakfast. Recommended.

The view, the location and the commodities were wonderful

Everytime we would walk the wood floor would make noises same thing for the room next to us and over us since we could hear it when people walked

Hotel in a quiet district of the town. Spacious and comfortable 'attic' room, with good bathroom facilities. Good restaurant, (with Schumacher's Altbier) on the banks of the Rhein, which is very pleasant for evening dining. Staff in hotel and restaurant all very cheerful.

Quite some distance from the railway station, so a taxi ride needed or your own vehicle. Single bed was a little too small, but fine for a couple of nights. If you're on the upper floors, there is no lift.

The location on the river is perfect. It’s clean and the coffee provided inside the rooms is surprisingly good, but the reason I am taking the time to write a review is the friendliness of the staff. They were so welcoming and accommodating.

Price of the breakfast is quite high, but it is good and served at the table

Really great small hotel with super-friendly and staff. Rooms were as you expect with decent size, small balcony and great view over the river Rhine. Very clean and looked after property. Breakfast was very good, as was the restaurant. In conclusion small hotel with a personal touch. Next time again at this place!

Nothing, really liked it! Only thing to comment on was that the freighters on the river are noisier than I thought...

The all city is closed after 00h00 we arrived late and we was starving, we wish if we found just a selling machine in the hotel for buying something to eat.
