A fabulous hotel, particularly if you have your own transport to get there, otherwise it could be a little more complex to get to. Great rooms for Japan, our room was by far the biggest we had in the whole of Japan. Great golf facilities if that is your thing, and obviously the main draw for this hotel. The staff were very accommodating and even modified my wife's breakfast on the 2nd day to cater for her as a vegetarian. Very large public onsen style facilities, with fabulous showers

The shower in the wet room was a bit strange to operate.

The suite is newly renovated and Modern (which is pretty rare in Japan). It’s large, spacious and comfortable and has cooking facilities, washing machine and a large bathroom with a tub. The area where the bed is located is a little tight though. We stayed for 2 nights and had dinner at the hotel one night. The Western dinner course with beef steak was well executed. The Japanese breakfast was good too. The gentleman serving us was very professional and attentive. And Kosuke, management of the hotel/golf club, who is fluent in English helped get everything worked out for us. We played 2 rounds of golf at ESV. Well maintained course with beautiful surroundings. Hilly terrain. Interesting. We hope to be back soon. And regards the road getting to the hotel-not a problem at all in summer if you drive.

It has a very nice and chilly landscape. Rooms are amazing, well decorated, super clean, fully furnished and well equipped. Rooms have a fully equipped kitchen that you can comfortably use for cooking. Just make sure to bring your food for cooking, as you may not find the ingredients in the available convenience store. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Although not fluent in English, they have made their way to be supportive making sure guests feel welcome and comfortable. The western styled breakfast is gorgeous!

Items from their small convenience store are a bit too pricey and a bit too limited, specially given that the venue is a bit too far from any other convenience store or supermarket. So, make sure to bring your own food for cooking in the room, if you won’t have dinner/lunch/breakfast from the hotel.

A hidden gem. Golf club with modern self contained hotel suites. Staff do not speak English but are very friendly and happy to use translate app to communicate. Came to stay for one night as it was convenient but ended up playing a round of golf on a magnificent course for 13000 yen pp including cart and hire clubs. Western al a carte breakfast paid for at booking was the best I have had in Japan. Truly memorable and I hope to stay and play here again.

The dinner served was exceptional. T-Bone steak was not expected. Was excellent. Out side that dinner would of cost probably around 40,000 yen. We walked on the golf course road since it was closed. The views were remarkable. Bed was comfortable. Liked the tall ceilings.

It is a bit far from the town and station. A good 15 min ride.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was well decorated with a modern vibe and well equipped with all necessary amenities. The surroundings of the club were picturesque and serene. They also serve both Japanese and Western breakfast and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Overall speaking, it is a perfect accommodation as long as you're driving. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Karuizawa next time.

The rooms were newly renovated and equipped with a small kitchen. There was a very large tv and the internet was great given its remote location. Realized afterwards that it was a golf resort and wished I could’ve played a round.

It was far from central Karuizawa. Getting there involved many winding roads in the mountains and navigating single lane roads for two-way traffic. The sofa bed was probably the worst sofa bed that I have slept in.

Our room was very large, new and had all the right facilities, kitchen etc. I really liked the onsen of the hotel, and the breakfast was excellent. Snooker table was a cool addition. Staff was super kind and helpful. 15 min. drive from a ski park, 20 min. from Karuizawa city center.

Very remote, 30 min from main street. Must come by driving otherwise it’s mission impossible to stay here. The step from room to garden is a bit tricky.

Very remote. At least 30 min drive away from town. With little street lights and mostly country side roads, it can be dangerous when driving to the hotel during snowy season. Must have a car to access this hotel.
