The hotel staff were very friendly and gave very good service. After check in they walked us to our room door. Also to get to the onsen they had their own monorail which was awesome. The room was spacious and had a nice view. The hotel also had a shuttle from Karuizawa Station which was convinient.

The room was quite stuffy at night and we couldn't control the temperature in the room. I think this hotel is mainly for people to play golf. So there aren't too many shuttle buses which made it limited for us to get back to the hotel and also go to the station.

This hotel does the important things really well. 1) the bed is very comfortable (something you can’t always rely on in Japan!) 2) the room is quiet. No noise from neighbours, fans, motors or anything else that could disturb. 3) the room is dark. Block out curtains are used and there are minimal annoying little lights that often appear in hotel rooms like bright lights on air con units, light switches etc. The onsen is lovely’s don’t the facilities attached to the onsen are clean and adequate. The staff are friendly and polite. This place is a very comfortable place to stay and I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel with Onsen where you travel by a small train ( just 1 minute but super fun for kids) from the main building. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. coffee making kit in the room was very nice touch

the timing of the restaurant could be more accommodating for people checking in and out at odd hours.

This is a hotel located in a country golf club. Facilities first class. Dinner was a 4 course western fine dining.. scallop appetiser done 2 ways, a fish, a meat dish and dessert. Fantastic meal. The half board dinner plan is preferred as prices are at a discount to a la carte prices. Lovely onsen. Beautiful views from room.

The hotel room was lovely and spacious enough. The breakfast area offers a stunning view of Mount Asama with a lovely food spread. There is a tram ride to take us up to the onsen which was totally unexpected and a fun experience by itself. The onsen was great. Parking was aplenty and complementary. Staff speak great English.

Everything is as it is. Especially if you are a gold enthusiast. This place is like a paradise! But even for Karuizawa Outlet, there is great connection by shuttle bus, so easy to go there and back. Nothing to worry about.

Beautiful setting against Mount Asana. Room had a fantastic view and it was very comfortable . Breakfast was very good in a awesome and picturesque dining room. Onsen was clean and had a wonderful view of Asana too. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

Nothing really. We were driving so it was perfect , but for those who do not drive , the city is about 10 mins or 7 km away . But I understand that there is a bus shuttle by the hotel to the station ,

Loocation: is perfect, we had a car, it was easy to reach. Food: we had breakfast in the hotel, the food was delicious and had variety. Room: very spacious with view of Mt Asama and overlooking beautiful hotel grounds. The hotel has an onsen ( public bath).

THE BREAKFAST IS GOOD AT NICE DINING ROOM OVERLOOKING GOLF COURSE AND SCENIC TERRAIN. THE LOCATION IS A BIT OFF THE MAIN TOURIST AREAS SO WILL BE BETTER TO DRIVE YOUR OWN CAR.

Loved being away from the crowd in town and more out in nature. The Onsen up the hill was very beautiful and indeed a highlight. Staff weee so friendly and the cosiest room. Great to be back in Karuizawa again.
