The B&B owner, Ottavio, is a gentleman. He met us on the street as we arrived, to help us park our car. He helped us with our suitcases and made a delicious, traditional breakfast each morning. When we weren’t able to finish our meal, he insisted on us taking it away for lunch, which we always thoroughly enjoyed, and looked forward to. It felt like we were being warmly welcomed into his home, and we truly can’t thank him enough. The room was perfect - everything we needed and more. Ottavio made good local recommendations for dinner and gelato which we also loved. I’m certain we’ll be back.

Lovely large spacious room and bathroom, balcony. Being met on arrival and help to park car, given cold water. Great location on boulevard with restaurants and view over valley and to the sea and short easy drive to Valley of temples site. Fresh fruit provided after walk and coffee in morning. Friendly staff.

No fridge in room although there was one accessible in shared area along with coffee maker. Breakfast off site and nearby cafe was very good but a little unclear what we could have as part of this. Cafe staff not particularly helpful and it was a little difficult to communicate. Our room didn’t have a particular view from the balcony.

Absolutely gorgeous room in a superb location. Loved the old building the b&b was part of and our room was very modern & extremely well decorated with lovely touches such as a kettle in our room, a dish of sweets and free water & fruit provided. The room was big, as was the bathroom. Also had an area to hang out washing. We were able to park on the street at no cost. The owner was very helpful and hospitable and provided us with an amazing savory and sweet breakfast. We would love to stay here again.

Nothing - it was perfect

The BnB host is phenomenal. He met us in the main road, showed us how to get upstairs and through the gates, as well as providing us with a full breakfast that he served us, and a lunch to go back w some of the leftovers. The old elevator was great too. Walking distance to the historic center of Agrigento.

Parking is limited to none, so you park in the street that is very busy, and pay by meter. We parked a distance from the BnB, and carted pur suitcases. Packing an overnight bag and leaving the rest in the trunk if staying one night, is optimal.

What an amazing stay! I can see why it’s so highly rated on here. The host is amazing, he’s so lovely and really cares about the place and his guests. We were leaving early on our last morning so would’ve missed breakfast and he made sandwiches for us to take! The rooms are very clean and comfortable, everything was great. Felt very safe and secure and was nice and quiet. Great location with views from the room we stayed in. Train station and main food areas are only 5 min walk away

When the GPS sent us past the apartment, Ottavio came to meet us and guide us to apartment, first class service! He was also on had each morning to make café and explain the delicious local pastries & sandwiches. Then he packed up leftovers for a lunch picnic! He gave us some terrific suggestions for gelato & pizza. The bed was comfortable. Wifi worked great. The littel balcony was nice to have. The location was great: in between the old town and walking distance to the the Greek sites.

The hot water in the shower was sometimes hard to find. Did the first showerer use it all up? Is the tank too small?

Finding the property was needlessly difficult. Many guests have stated this before. Relying on your car GPS will not get you there unless you are lucky. Parking was available ... BUT, understanding how it works was another matter entirely. Ottavio should provide detailed written information on both these points before arrival. It would save him from the endless annoyance of trying to communicate this in English to his guests.

Good mattress, great bathroom with large shower and sink, hooks and places to store things (thus far a rare occurrence in Sicily). Friendly host, large choice of bakes sweets for breakfast plus ham and cheese roll. Free parking in the narrow street right off the main drag. Elevator for heavy luggage.

Room itself a touch small and only the bed to sit on - we only stayed one night so it was fine - I wouldn't select it for more than a few days.

The room was clean and tidy. There was plenty of space for the three of us. We loved the wee balcony and the view of the sea. The host was so helpful and friendly. He found us a free park for the car. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We were able to take what we didn’t eat with us. We were close to the old town and to cafes and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing breakfast of a wide variety of some of the best pastries we’ve ever eaten, plus cheeses, olives and coffee/tea. Host went the extra mile to meet us outside the property to help us find a parking spot during a busy holiday time.

We had to meet the host to enter the property and couldn’t exactly predict when we’d arrive since we were on a driving trip, nor call since we didn’t have international calling ability. It would have been nice for us and host if there was a lock box or key pad or some way to access the property on our own.
