I loved the old vibe of the hotel, the architecture and the theme. The rooms were spacious, clean and the AC works very well, comfortable sleep. I also liked the activities like water polo, the staff are also friendly, but because of the high number of people they're overloaded. They work without expecting tips, honest hard working people (except only 1 or 2 exceptions) unlike some that only work expecting tips and I'm happy to leave some tip in that case. The food is also good

It gets overcrowded at the weekends so the waiting lines at the restaurant are very long. Also they get out of plates very quickly and the staff working can't catch up with the big number of demand. But they do their best anyway. Some young guests make trouble, but nothing major. Thanks to security. The waiting time to check in is also a bit long and messy, but that's fine, ut was a weekend, you get served eventually.. Another thing I didn't like is that I paid all inclusive soft, but at the restaurant I can't get a bottle of water, I can only fill cups. And at the bar I don't get free water, I have to pay 1 dinar for the bottle of water (instead of 5 dinars for those who didn't pay for all inclusive), why do I have to pay for that? That's weird. Also you can't pay by Card... Only cash..

I am sad to see the decline of the el Mouradi hotels in Tunisia ….at the first a young waiter in the restaurant is very impolite ,The rooms stink. They are not clean. There are no blankets and towels ,There was only a mini fridge in my room and the air conditioner didn’t work I cannot believe I paid what I did for such a unsatisfying stay!!!

Room was dirty. Completely different from the advertised photo of the room in the website. The carpet is old and stinky because of water spills from the W.C, and they don't dry it. They don't provide enough towels. 2 towels for quadruple room. They don't change the towels daily. We had to dry them on the balcony after use. No hair dryer in toilet. They don't make the bed period. No towel provided in the pool or the beach, u need to provide 20 DT (10$) as guarantee to get 1 towel. No WIFI in the room. Wifi only available in the lobby. No AC in the lobby. Crazy busy reception throughout the day. Receptionist are not helpful, except from one guy who is making extra efforts. I had an issue with Tax calculation, could not sort it out until raised it to the hotel manager, whom I met by pure chance. The lady looking after my booking did not want to come and discuss the issue with me directly, she gave instructions to receptionist who had no clue of the pb. and was stuck at the reception about 2 hrs till I spike to the manager. No mini bar, just an empty fridge.No drinking water provided at the rooms. You have to walk to the bar to drink water, or buy a bottle (1DT) and carry it to your room despite being on all inclusive package. Elevator did not work for 2 days. We had to carry our luggage via the stairs in the first day. Phone doesn't work. You can't call the reception, for any need you have to walk a long distance to the reception. Restaurant very crowded ( expected for buffet style), food was below average. The grill option is tuna fish most of the time, sometimes turkey. If u come at the start u can get a glass for drink, otherwise they serve u whatever left in plastic cups. Personnel at the restaurant are not very helpful, you end up picking up cutleries cups and drinks by yourself. They rush into cleaning the tables, it happens they trash my daughter dish before she start eating when we were away !
