The breakfast was nice. We’ve had more elaborate breakfast at other Dars.

There could / should have been a welcome water and fruit - especially as one has to be careful drinking the local water. Dinner a little pricey …and no wine or beer available.

A true gem in the medina! Superb location, beautiful decor, a lovely rooftop restaurant with a jacuzzi and stunning views, a hearty breakfast is included, strong AC.. it really is the perfect place to stay in Sousse. I'd especially like to shout out the ladies that put on breakfast - they were so warm towards me, smiling through the language barrier always and making me feel very well cared for. I ate on the rooftop on my first night and the fish was wonderfully prepared, plus I was very pleased they served actually alcoholic cocktails. My only issue was the lack of curtains in my room, as I was right by the main door, but people splurging on the bigger/nicer rooms this won't be an issue for you. I would recommend everyone to stay here easily!

Again, the lack of curtains covering the windows looking into my bathroom/room made me slightly uncomfortable, but I hope they take this feedback on board, as this can be fixed very easily.

Comfortable and spacious rooms. Staff was welcoming and Sana is an incredible cook. The iftar meal she made for my wife, daughter and me surpassed any other meal we had in Tunisia. Location was great for us. We could be on a beach anywhere and were happy with our choice to stay in the Medina but close to the walls so it was easy to get to pickups for tours, etc. Also AC was helpful and pricing is also on point.

As in most similar properties, there were idiosyncrasies in the layout of the room (no door to a separate toilet area, no end tables, etc) and to the Dar as a whole (let’s just say it wasn’t ADA compliant) but that’s part of the charm. Not a Dar Antonio issue but getting lunch during Ramadan in the Medina takes some planning. Also do any shopping in the morning.

Charming guest house in a great location inside the old walled Medina of Sousse. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. An eSIM I'd bought online for Tunisia didn't work so Hanen took me to the local Orange shop and helped with sorting out a new SIM so I could access mobile data. We'd have been really stuck otherwise as were relying on using Google Maps to find our way around in our rental car. The breakfasts were delicious and featured lots of local Tunisian specialities to try out. The restaurant was good but very expensive - European prices rather than local prices.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities and they didn't give you any water after the first bottle on arrival. Although there was a little kitchen there was nothing there to make a tea or coffee.

This is a beautiful hotel and the bedroom was comfy and clean. It had a nice rooftop with a restaurant/bar and there was another similar place downstairs. The food was delicious they both have chefs on site so everything is local, fresh and prepared on site. The hotel is in the beginning of the Medina, so it’s an excellent and easy to find location. The staff was really helpful and answered all of my questions. They also provided suggestions and advice that made the whole experience easier and more enjoyable.

The wifi did not work a few different times but when it did, it was reliable and pretty fast. My room was under the rooftop so I could hear all the people walking around and moving tables every night. It stayed like this until around midnight each night when everyone finally ended their night. Also, in the morning the downstairs would start playing loud music around 7:30am. So it was difficult to sleep later into the morning after long night of loud noise.

Very nice old house at the Sousse medina. Actually, it is two houses united: exquisite decoration and adaptation as hotel, with charming spaces to stay and relax, nice roof with views to the town and a small pool, a small library... And, since it is in the medina, you can easily arrive to the most interesting places to visit. But it is in a very quiet street, silent and far of the noise of the market and shops of other places in the medina. Very kind staff and good breakfast.

Maybe it could be a bit problematic for disabled or old people: it is an old house and there are stairs. There are, however, rooms in the ground floor, with only one or two steps from the street, and you can reach the restaurant from the street, too, as it is on the ground floor of the other house.

The breakfast was great. The restaurant is excellent. Quite French as opposed to Tunisian. It has alcohol, nice local wines and cocktails too. For more Tunisian fare we ate outside the hotel. Sana who served breakfast and seemed to do all sorts of things was kind and awesome. She took us to the nearest bank and pharmacy personally. Arranged drivers for us to visit El Jem and Kairouan one day. Then a driver to take us to Djerba when we checked out. Nothing was too much trouble.

Dar Antonia is a wonderful hotel in the middle of the Sousse Medina. The architecture and furnishings were beautiful, traditional Tunisian style. They had fresh rose petals in the courtyard fountain every day. Breakfast was delicious, rooms were very large and comfortable. The rooftop bar and restaurant was excellent! The entire staff were so friendly and gracious and helpful with any questions or needs. Definitely recommend if staying in Sousse city.

The only thing we didn't like so much was the surrounding area. It was quite run down and many feral cats.

The rooms decoration and the rest of the hotel. The rooftop and the small swimming pool. The amazing staff in particular the breakfast team, and the Element that receives us for late check in that speaks very good english. And also the nice artist guy that serves us dinner.

Prices are a bit high for what was offered. Internet connection was not good with a lots of failures mainly in the rooms located in the 0 level.

Beautiful surroundings - all beautifully kept. Staff very friendly and exceptionally professional. Excellent breakfast.

The only thing we did not like, and I was not able to speak about it to them as we had to leave quite early, is the music from the restaurant in the evening. You could hear it in the bedroom. Quite loudly - especially the base beat and so it was difficult to get to sleep. The noise of everything floats up as it is open plan.
