I recently stayed at the Holiday Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delightful, with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes. The hotel room is spacious, and several large pools looked appealing, although we did not have the chance to use them since we spent much of our time exploring. The beach is just a 3 to 4-minute walk away, and you can access it by passing through other hotel buildings that are part of the same hotel chain. Breakfast offers a wide variety of options to choose from. The location is convenient, close to a busy street, making it easy to get a taxi. There are also several restaurants within a 1-mile radius, but check the reviews before dining. Staff were friendly and helpful, unlike outside the hotel, where customer service is non-existent. **Getting to the Hotel:** We took a taxi from Enfidha Airport, which cost us £25. For our return trip, we used a Bolt taxi, and it was £20. Please note that you can use Bolt in Sousse, but it doesn’t operate from the airport. **ATM:** There are plenty of ATMs within walking distance, and the withdrawal fee is 10 dinars. **Traveling to Other Cities:** We took a day tour from Sousse to Tunis and Sidi Bou Said by using a Louage. First, we took a Bolt taxi to the central Louage station and purchased a ticket to Tunis. From Tunis, we used Bolt again to reach Sidi Bou Said, which I highly recommend.

We booked a room with a sea view, but we could barely see the ocean from the balcony, which looked different from the pictures shown. The bathroom was clean, but the amenities were not in good condition, and refurbishment is necessary. The hotel itself needs work, particularly on the exterior, where the paint is peeling off. I understand they are still waiting for tourism to pick up, but given the current condition of the hotel, they should consider lowering their star rating to reflect that.

My stay at Hotel Royal Salem in Sousse was truly delightful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm and friendly demeanor. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The atmosphere of the hotel was lively and joyful, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind. What made our visit even more special was celebrating my wife’s birthday there. The team went above and beyond by arranging a beautiful bouquet of roses and surprising her with a delicious birthday cake. This thoughtful gesture left a lasting impression on both of us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend Hotel Royal Salem to anyone visiting Sousse. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction make it stand out. We will definitely be returning!

Good variety of food, friendly staff and abundance of activities. Amazing place for kids. Rooms were very spacious. Staff were kind of enough to provide milk for children at night. The hotel is a short drive from the city market area and sea front.

We had to ask more than twice for a cot. The one we received was partly damaged on one of the legs. Shower door is not very fit for purpose as it only blocks half of the unit. Very often a shower will leave the floor by the sink wet. The place is very big and is made up of numerous hotels. Its very easy to get lost and end up in a different hotel lobby. A map of the grounds would be helpful. Some of the poolside staff would reserve chairs around the pool for other visitors who would come later on in the morning. Not a very fair system.

Good value for money, the beach is right behind the hotel. Even though the hotel looks a bit older from outside and with worn and torn chairs in the lobby, everything is clean and tidy. Lovely personel fluid in English and German beside of course Arabic and French.

There are not too many places to see which are near the hotel. But the hotel has pools, a gym, spa and beach so you can spend the whole day there.

As always my stay exceeded expectations. The rooms have been refurbished and are very fresh, with new fixtures such as usb plugs and new bathrooms. Reception staff gave us a beautiful room, we were greeted by guest relations with fruit and water in our room. The grounds are beautiful 5 acres of gorgeous winding paths between beautiful gardens full of huge trees cactus flowers vines, a large selection of pools, the beach is lovely, the staff as always so welcoming. I love this hotel dearly i am a regular visitor and travel alot and stayed in many places but this place is very special and always a favourite of mine ❤️

I liked this hotel with very good rooms.Was so nice atenttion from all staff: in reception (when i left some things in the safe box at room,they took care that i got it back);animators was exelent too: all ladies were in attention with dance :); and special thanks for Marwen,who is working in shishabar and next to swiming pool in the same time. Him smile can magic to everyone. So,dont forget try shisha, enjoy and the time for relax will be an unforgettable.

The territory of the hotel is absolutely huge and includes 3 main buildings - it means that each building has its own reception. They offer a lot of things to do as - big tennis( has to be booked every time)- 2 courts, table tennis(rackets are in a super bad condition though, but still possible to play), archery- this it seems to be specific time just with animation group, kids room with animation group also, volleyball on the beach - specific time , kinda yoga or dancing -animation group … evening programs. Also they offer a spa and massage ( has to be booked in advance - massage specifically I didn’t like - because it wasn’t real massage , just distributing oil over the body for 50 min ;) ) , also they provide the trips with guides / private trips … Summarising- it’s like a small city - they have everything inside and entertainment was totally amazing . Food - was good 👌the only problem was the water - it smelled ( the one which is from the cooler ), always drink just water from bottles

it was an amazing hotel which i reserved، all things was good, i'd a best experience here to stay, you are accessible to every things that you want, it has a private plage and 5 swimming pool, the plage was quite clean and sandy, at the first hours of my accommodation when i was in the bath room the Tableau on the wall felt down and breaks apart and i told this to the miss which was in the reception and she just behaves like a friend which is concern about my health, most of the hotels not behave like that, i really satisfy to choose this hotel formy accommodation.
