The hotel's location is hard to beat, on the edge of the medina and just a short walk to everything else, the beach and the railway station. It's a short, cheap taxi ride to the long distance louage station. The rooms are small, but comfortable with very nice patio areas to relax in. The showers/ toilets were super clean and in good working order, as was the wifi. Staff gave helpful advice related to my travel plans.

I chose a room that didn't have AC and, as it was the middle of summer, it was uncomfortably hot at night with the fan not helping much. This was my choice, but it is an important consideration if you are going in summer.

The location was perfect and the staff a genuine delight- a tremendous mixture of happiness but without infringing on your personal space. It was clean, always open and there’s a lot open space. Pound for pound the best place I’ve visited in Tunisia so far, a lot of other places could learn from this very professional and organised business.

Unfortunately I think some people in the property learned to speak in a helicopter. A common area for phone calls or the occasional suggestion to loud people to quieten down would complete this hotel- although I’m aware this is a difficult task to perform.

Everything was excellent! Very comfortable, clean, quiet and perfect temperature in the rooms (AC works as heating if you need it but was warm enough). The staff were welcoming and helped us with loads of useful recommendations! Location was perfect. Staid here for 6 nights and did loads of day trips by louage (public transport). Would definitely recommend. Tips: - eat at Restaurant Café Seles! It’s open 9am-9pm even in Ramadan - use Bolt which works for Enfidha aiport (60 dinars) - Mina Change - best exchange rate in town - Airalo eSIM - 2GB for £6 (code: ANAMAR5987 for £2.5 off)

This hotel is truly amazing! It has a beautiful design, the room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless—I absolutely loved it. Everything was just perfect. Mohammed, one of the staff members, was so friendly and always smiling. I’m really grateful for his kindness. If you stay here, you can also use the fridge, which is super helpful during the summer to keep your water cold. Most importantly, the hotel is located right in the heart of the Medina—an incredible area—so you can easily walk to all the main tourist spots. Restaurants, souvenir shops, and clothing stores are all just steps away. This is truly a very strategic place to stay, and the price is very affordable considering everything it offers. If I ever come back to Sousse, I’ll definitely stay here again!

Great location, near the train station, in the medina, and close to the beach. Excellent value, hostel prices for a private room, with lots of common spaces -- a small kitchen, living room, rooftop and courtyard. I was very happy to have an electric tea kettle available to make coffee in the morning (a rare find in Tunisia). Lots of blankets available since medina buildings are cold in the winter.

The quality of the rooms is variable, I got a great room, but you could have one where the window opens towards the inside where people hang out and smoke. The rooms are small, but functional. No sound insulation whatsoever.

Firstly my damn train from Tunis broke down for nearly four hours so I arrived at 4am rather than midnight. Ominously the door was locked. Lots of hotels say they have a 24-hour reception but they don't really. Nervously I knocked ... and after about 20 seconds a friendly member of staff opened and checked me in. Relief time! I had a decent room and the shared toilets & showers were spotlessly clean. It's like they have a cleaner on site 25 hours a day! The location is fabulous, in the Medina, but also easy to find as it is there immediately after you enter. The staff are superb. All this for 100 dirham/€30 for my 2-night stay in a single room.

The location of this Hotel is a mazing, right in the center and close to the bus station, louage station, the beaches and the medina. The room is small but has everything. Well furnished, with a wardrobe, a large mirror and a small sink. No air conditioning but there was no need thanks to the presence of Venetian blinds which give privacy but let air pass through. The bathrooms have a part that can be used by men and women then, there is a part where you can find toilets, sinks and showers only for women, completely separate and with privacy. The staff is very friendly. Riad style - it has a central part that can be used for relaxing, a tea drinking area and a terrace where you can enjoy the fresh air. The only precaution for those with heavy or large suitcases is that there is a staircase at the entrance.

Concerning Hotel Paris, all the item are splendid except two items. One they cannot accept credit card. Second actually the location is so near (just only 10 steps) from the Main Entrance with Mosaic Wall, such statement isn’t written in Booking’s guidance. So I took some time to find your Hotel very late at night.

Always hard to say what things would be like if it wasn’t Ramadan. For a budget hotel, this one was pretty good—excellent location on the edge of the medina, next to the harbor, close to the train station and shops. Mapping software (including Booking.com) initially showed me two very different locations—it’s on the north side of the medina, a short walk from the train station. I found a pickpocket (or he found me), and almost lost my phone, so exercise normal precautions on the street. Staff can show you a good Tunisian restaurant close by, and there are several ATMs and one good supermarket also nearby. Room was fine, though small with a somewhat wonky window for ventilation, up a total of two flights of stairs. Large outdoor space which I didn’t make any use of. I’d add that transport schedules I found online were largely incorrect, so check at train or bus stations before committing.

Fantastic location, just past the entrance to the Sousse medina and within walking distance to the city beach, train station, cafes and small shops outside the medina. Strongly recommend staying on the medina side of town if you don't want to be in the thick of the tourist resorts further north along the beaches. The immediate access to the medina is just so convenient, plus easy to get taxis and the louage stations are close by too. Room was small but big enough for bags and sleeping - we booked the room with an ensuite. Heating/aircon unit in the room was useful. Clean property in general. Shared spaces are lovely, especially the upstairs terrace areas. Friendly staff across all shifts (it's a 24-hour reception), super helpful with any questions - be it about the room or travels/sights around Sousse.

Would be great to have the laundry be self-serve rather than paid (1 dinar per piece at the time), and a shared kitchen would be a great addition. You need to ask for the remote control for the TV and heating/aircon from reception, we had to figure this out, they didn't explain at check-in. Price is not cheap - you can get entire apartments for a similar price in the area, but you can't beat the just-in medina location
