Excellent SAFE convenient location in Grand Forks. Near the ‘newer’ (south) end of the city, but still reasonably close to UND, airport, and I29. Numerous restaurants, shopping facilities, (ie-mall, Target, Sam’s, Walmart, Menards, etc) very close by. 5 minute drive to Altru, the main hospital, in Grand Forks. There are numerous hotels in this area; this one presented me with the best value as I was not planning on having breakfast at hotel. Starbucks and Caribou Coffee is 2 minutes away. Holiday Convenience store/Gas Station approx 150 yards.

Breakfast. Carb central. But kids would probably enjoy it. Oatmeal, bread, bagels, waffle maker, 3 cold cereals, (2 sugary), yogurt, jelly, peanut butter, cream cheese, juice, milk (low-fat only), coffee. No protein, no breakfast sandwiches. Not complaining, I wasn’t planning on breakfast at hotel, just giving the rundown.

Room was Comfortable. the lamps had power outlets at their bases to charge electronic devices. The staff was available 24/7. The breakfast was simple: a waffle maker, instant oatmeal packs, dry cereal, bagels, yogurt, coffee, juice, and apples. On the weekend they had omlettes and breakfast sausage as well.

Have a list of fast food, and sit down restaurants available in the room.

All aspects were great! Staff are marvellous and accommodating. We did a 4 room family booking - all said they had a wonderful time! Pool and free delicious breakfast dining area were a tad small but that could have been because we were 8 adults and 7 children under the age of 10 ;-). Would definitely recommend this and will go back ourselves whenever in Grand Forks!!! They should all be run this well!!

Everything. It’s a nice quiet, comfortable and reasonable place to stay. Room has everything a person needs. Microwave, cold refrigerator, great shower and a comfortable king size bed. All of the staff I encounter are very nice. It’s became my go to place when I’m in the Grand Forks area.

Breakfast was kind of light this morning. I would have liked to see some protein instead of all carbs.

The staff was amazing! I'm terrible with remembering names, but everyone was always welcoming and happy and happy to help. Rooms were clean and fresh, and the ice machine surpassed my expectations.... so amazing in my book!

Their were only two downsides during my stay, but they were little things. I had read omelets were in the breakfast, but when I stayed there were none. And the TV says you can watch HBO max and showtime for free but when you click to open the apps there was an error. Again little things that didn't make my 1 night stay unpleasant, but it would have been the cherry on top.

It was very clean, the room was comfortable (beds are a little squeaky but comfy) 3 pillows on each bed, had a nice desk and rolling chair. The pool is heated and though it’s not the deepest (5 feet) it was very relaxing. The rooms are quiet and we couldn’t hear our neighbours, good water pressure in the shower and lots of towels.

We had no complaints. Wish there was a hot tub but I knew that before booking so we weren’t disappointed.

Very clean, well maintained. Not fancy but it was obvious they valued more of the necessities (clean room, facilities, comfortable beds vs. a desk chair.) Pool was clean too.

The staff in the AM did not maintain the food. I had to alert them throughout the morning that coffee was empty, breads, milk, yogurt, fruit, etc. I was in the lounge most of morning to let my kids sleep. The only time I seen the morning staff was when I called for her. She never wiped anything down during the full morning. The hotel was packed.

We just needed a place to stay for one night, and this place was great. It was clean, staff were friendly, beds were comfy. We slept in late so didn't have breakfast, but the breakfast area looked tidy and clean. Lots of parking. We stayed on a Saturday and it was nice and quiet.

I'm really sensitive to scents, and the scent of cleaning products was pretty strong in the room. I imagine it had just been cleaned (which is good!), and it didn't bother my friend, but for people who are sensitive, I thought it was worth mentioning. Also, there was no sign on the building, which was weird. There was a sign at the street, but not on the actual building.

The hot tub was wonderful--very warm water and powerful jets. Really helped relax muscles and feet. The pool was the warmest pool we ever swam in but was great. For a change, the chlorine was very subtle in both pool and hot tub so that my husband could stay in whereas almost always motel pools overwhelm his sinuses & he needs to leave before I'm ready.

We had no complaints about anything.

Friendly staff. Pet friendly. Breakfast was very good for a hotel chain. Staff gave us a dog care package. There was an empty lot next door that allows for a good walk with the dogs.

There was a fire alarm that went off in the night. Not staff's fault. Charges were supposed to be separated on the bill for my pets, but that didn't happen.
