Abbey Del Sol was a wonderful choice! The apartment was spacious and very clean-which means a lot to me. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook. Bathroom clean as well. Air conditioner was a blessing to say the least :) They even provided beach chairs , a beach bag, beach towels and umbrellas at no extra charge. Staff was friendly and always available to answer questions or provide assistance. Mariela was especially helpful. The hotel was conveniently located 5 minutes away (walking) from the Unico beach & 15 minutes from the town center where all the restaurants, transportation and shops were. It is a small and peaceful town with beautiful aesthetics. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable. I am definitely coming back to Puerto Morelos and Abbey Del Sol!

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Abbey Del Sol and the experience was excellent on both occasions. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. Each room also comes with a full kitchen with everything you need to cook at the location. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Also, the free bikes are great for cruising around town or for picking up groceries. I highly recommend Abbey Del Sol, but make sure to book early to get all your days.

TV's are not intuitive and difficult to operate. If you plan on using the TV, make sure to ask the front desk for guidance.

Staff were extremely helpful, especially Mariela who gave us advice on tours and arranged transport. Our king studio was lovely and had so many extras: beach towels, umbrellas, facecloths, drinking water, coffee, etc. Nice little pool in a shady spot.

It’s a bit of a hike to the central part of the town, though the hotel does have bicycles for guests. No conveniences like grocery stores or pharmacies close by. The small queen studio is very cramped and the bed is uncomfortable.

Nice, clean and well equipped room, very well maintained premises and friendly owners. Location for us was perfect: quiet but still walkable to the beach (~5min) and town square (~15min). Snorkeling tour operators (we went with Wet Set) and plenty of restaurants and are also within walking distance. Street parking was not a problem. Would stay there again.

Amazing aparthotel - every single detail well thought-out and staff all kind and lovely. We’ve stayed in multiple places in Mexico since starting here and none have lived up to this standard. Super comfy bed, super helpful staff and lovely, quiet road. They have plenty of free bicycles to use to ride around to the beach and restaurants.

Literally nothing!

This place is the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing trip. We loved the pool and being just a block away from the beach. The bikes were a great way to get around, even though great food is walking distance. Upon arriving our hostess took her time to orient us and gave us plenty of helpful tips and advice that greatly enhanced our stay. We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely, comfortable and clean. A few steps away from the beach. Slightly out of the centre of town but it doesn't really feel like it as the bikes are always available and the cycle to the town is a very relaxed 5-10 mins away. I generally don't really like cycling but really enjoyed cycling around this quiet place. Really helpful staff! They booked us taxis and sorted out an admin error with our payment. Also let us leave our bags in the office after we checked out so we could enjoy the beach before our flight.

The apartment of Abbey da sol is fantastic, cozy, spacious and very nicely furnished. The bed is really extra large! The kitchen is really well organized and has everything you might need (even a blender 🤩. We had a small child with us and they even gave us a crib for him. The outside pool is really charming, with flower, plan trees and light. And last but not least, the staff is friendly and very helpful. Close to the beach, 15 Min walk to the main plaza. We're totally satisfied.

Very clean, located in a quiet area, kitchen was well equipped, bed and sheets were very nice. Close access to beach, free bikes were available for use.

The only TV was located in the bedroom, would be better in the other area. More towels would be good. Free bikes could use a little maintenance.

Had a great stay. Our particular room was small but it was only for one night. It had everything you could want or need for an overnight stay. They had some amenities that we just didn’t get a chance to try like the pool and the free bikes. We will be back.

We picked a smaller room due to the cost and the fact that we were only staying one night. We were cramped in there.
