Giacomo was a great host. He met us on arrival and explained everything. He also made sure to check in on us throughout our stay in case we needed anything. We would highly recommend Sant’Ambrogio. It offers a more relaxed alternative to Cefalu but is equally as beautiful. There are three great restaurants in the village and a lovely bar for breakfast where you can get a delicious coffee, crossaint and fresh orange juice The village is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment and is perfect to stroll down to in the morning or evening. If you do have a car, Cefalu is only a 15 minute drive away, and has plenty of delicious restaurants and activities like climbing la Rocca. The pool at the apartment complex is small but perfectly sufficient. There were always sunbeds available around the pool with umbrellas for shade. As an alternative to the pool, the beach is only a short walk down the steps. The beach is quiet and almost feels like a private beach.(It is a stone beach but there was some sand patches to lay down towels on and lie down). Great couples holiday spot!!

We were in Cefalu for our 43rd anniversary and enjoyed the quiet location just outside town. The views were great. The small pool was in a lovely setting and nicely landscaped. There were 230 steps down to a relatively quiet beach and our host had an umbrella that saved us from the relentless baking sun. The nearby town of S. Ambrogio was somewhat disappointing as the one food store did not have much to offer and is closed for afternoon siesta. This means you need to drive into Cefalu for groceries. Parking in Cefalu is a challenge but there are plenty of paid lots. You may have to walk a distance. Despite being jam packed with tourists, and having shopkeepers acting somewhat aggressive, sometimes rude, we still felt the magical romantic charm of Cefalu. It is worth visiting. We were happy to drive back up the mountain to our apartment rather than be in a smaller, more expensive hotel room in town.

Not much counterspace for food prep, interior decor was somewhat boring for the price. Bathroom was very small. There were lots of steps up & down from parking area to apartment. If you have a car and want to save a little money, this place is good enough value but I would hardly call it a bargain. This is high season in Sicily!

The location is Supreb and the view is spectacular. Apartment is modern with excellent facilities. The pool with jacuzzi jets and with its views is outstanding and much needed as it was very hot at this time of the year. I really liked the village of San't Ambrogio with its few restaurants. Everybody very friendly and had that authentic sicilian style compared to busy Cefalu. The host was excellent and could be contacted at any time and helped in every way to enhance your stay. I would highly recommend this apartment and location.

My only disappointment was the check in but in fairness the host sorted this out. As it was so hot and when I arrived there was no bottle of water which would have been nice to have had in fridge as weather was so hot after traveling since early morning.

We stayed from June 5th to June 15th. We had a very late check-in around 23pm, and the owner of the apartment, Giacomo, met us during his off hours and bought us food and wine. Giacomo recommended good restaurants and supermarkets to us also. Our apartment was lovely, fully equipped and had a spectacular sea view. The beach is just a 5 minute walk. The sea temperature was quite comfortable, about 23-24 degrees. There is a small village within walking distance where there is a minimarket, a couple of restaurants and a bar. The center of Cefalu can be reached by car in 10 minutes (5.6 km). Very quiet, cozy and peaceful place, whcih we like.

A dishwasher may be essential for long-term stays.

The property had a beautiful sea view from the balcony. There were 200 plus steps down to the beach below and the complex has a small swimming pool. Giacomo, the property owner was very helpful and responsive. The property is in a small village called Sant Ambrogio, seven kilometres from Cefalu .There were several good restaurants especially Sikula and a small supermarket.

The washing machine was broken although Giacomo kindly offered to pay for the laundry but we declined . There was no bakery and fresh bread, fruit and vegetables had to be bought either in Cefalu or Finale..

The property is located in a gated community complex and provides great privacy and security. As a guest you also have access to a beach and pool, making it a great choice for when you want to avoid crowds on Cefalu beach. The apartment was clean, well-furnished and comfortable. It is situated at walking distance from a charming small town with impeccable views, lovely restaurants and a bar to have breakfast. Our host was extremely helpful and responsive, making our stay even more pleasant.

Everything was perfect and as mentioned. The only small thing is that sometimes late at night all parking spots can be taken, but we only had trouble finding a place to park on one night during our whole stay.

Beautiful little village near the Cefalu with amazing view to the sea. In the village you can find small supermarket, bar for breakfast and three restaurants. The apartment is new and very well equipped (kitchen where you can find basic things like salt, oil etc.). Very comfortable bed and pillow, besutiful sound of the sea. And Helpful host.

Booking presents this accomodation with swimming pool and jacuzzi. There is only big jacuzzi not swimming pool and not in a good condition. Host mentioned it bellow the photo of jacuzzi but i think almost nobody noticed it.

Well appointed apartment in a beautiful location with divine view over the bay. We loved the little village 5 minutes walk up the road with its bar, restaurants and little shop. Big beach on the doorstep - looks a long way down but only 130 steps from the pool area. Short drive into Cefalu but we appreciated being away from the crowds

Nothing worth mentioning

A perfect stay > peaceful and quiet, with a truly wonderful atmosphere. The owner is extremely kind and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. The location is excellent, with fantastic views and everything within easy reach. The charm of Sant'Ambrogio is unforgettable -a place full of character and authenticity. Highly recommended!

The service was very good. Giacomo as the host was very professional and helpful. The apartment is located on a hill, so the view of Cefalu is amazing. You have to use the stairs to get to the beach, but it's not inconvenient. The apartment is modern and suitable for 4-5 people. The bedroom is quite large with a very comfortable queen size bed. There are a two small sofa bed in the living room

The swimming pool is rather like a big jacuzzi - ok for small kids but definitely not for swimming - should be mentioned in the description. Two small sofa bed in livingroom are not folded out so in my opinion they are dedicated for kids.
