The location is nice but you can’t walk too much around since there are private properties. Since we were there off season and only for 1 night not much to do. The breakfast was delicious as well as the food for dinner and at a good price. The room was clean and pretty comfortable. The staff at the restaurant was nice.

The sound isolation in the room is the worst. We had a room next to the elevator and could hear everyone passing by, as well as noise from the other room and from the outside with the balcony door closed. The mattress was not the best. The staff at the reception not too friendly when checked in.

The hotel is located in a beautiful place on the shore of the lake, a bit further away from the main roads, so it is indeed very relaxing. The bed was comfortable and we had a superb breakfast. We had the room with the whirlpool and the infra sauna - totally recommended.

The room showed signs of some water damage on the ceilings but there was no bad smell or anything. The jacuzzi from the upper neighbors can be a bit loud. I really missed the coffe/tea from the room, even in "lower category" accomodations this is basically standard now. We had some issues at dinner with the service, though everyone was nice and helpful, we not always received what we ordered, or when we were sitting outside, we had to wait longer times until someone showed up.

This hotel is a true luxury place, amazing apartment, private sauna & jakuzy in the admiral suite. Very well furnished, awesome design and a nice helpful staff. We arrived late, and got permission for late checkout without any additional cost. Very good value for the facilities provided, Felt like a true 5 star hotel.

Nice hotel with a decent size pool and saunas. Great and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet has almost everything you would need. Dinner was off the chain, like a michelin Star dinner. The hotel is right by the lake. There are only 3 things I didn't like too much.

Matress way too hard for me. Use of the pool and spa costs extra. Other than the lake, there is nothing else to do nearby.

Reception and Restaurant staff were friendly and professional. The apartment is great with a good view on the lake.

When guests arrived in the apartment above us, we had a lot of walking around sounds, which actually in my eyes makes the price a little too high.

Very calmfull and nice enviroment. Clean rooms and pleasent staff at recepcion. Nice wellness. Greate food at restaurant.

The restaurant staff, not all of them but after the change of stuff in half of our trip. They think that the doors at the kitchen are soundproof. And when we ordered the foiegras there was very clearly heard from kitchen: "What the hll is foiegras? Bleh. Who the hell order it?" And then you are get it served with smile.

I like the place since I've been going there as a kid and remember it before the Relax was built and started expanding in the village. Despite that, Dolni Vltavice is still very quiet and secluded from the very touristy places around Lipno. Since this was my third or fourth stay since they opened, I enjoyed seeing the changes since my last stay. Some for better, and some for the worse. We rented bikes, a motor boat, went to the pool, swam in the lake. They have two restaurants, and we found the meals above average, but definitely with room for fine-tuning if they really want to aim at fine dining. You will not get traditional South Bohemian cuisine which is real shame.

My first hotel ever where we had to pay extra for visiting a pool, and they charge extra also for sauna. One of the bikes we rented was in terrible shape, and the motor boat is so week that you want to be paddling to assist the motor. They should have an option for something more powerful. We didn't like that there was no longer other restaurant option in the village. The resort is very disliked by the local residents. I suppose the continuous expansion is eventually going to destroy the pervading spirit of that place. I also didn't like the hotel's reservation system and the service on the reservation line. That's why we ended up using Booking.

Great location right at a beautiful spot by the lake, secluded enough to be away from the tourist bubble, yet close to all areas of interest. Even a small ferry to transfer bikes across the lake. A kind soul had been thoughtful enough to provide fresh water and some welcome snacks for our dog. The staff was very approachable and received our kids requests for sports equipment very kindly. The rooms were very spacious and clean, the en-suite infra red cabin was an added bonus and thoroughly enjoyable

Theoretically, had we more ambition to catering for ourselves, the kitchenette could have been stocked a bit better, things like a simple coffee maker would have gone a long way. The food in the restaurant was perhaps not quite what we had hoped for, but the breakfast pancakes and fresh fruit made our kids very happy

Quiet and beautiful, walk to water and sit on nice large benches in garden to take in beauty of area!

We had a great weekend at a quite remote place, great to calm down and relax! Very nice service employees, great food at the restaurant and especially the head waitress offered us excellent choices for our dinner!

That we didn't have more time to enjoy everything.
