We had a lovely stay in Maputo. The hotel is conveniently located on the beach front and next to Baia mall. The rooms were incredibly clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Most importantly, the hotel staff are exceptional. A major thank you to Judith and Carla (the two receptionists) who assisted my fiancé in planning a lovely engagement and constantly going above and beyond whenever we needed anything.

The breakfast was great and filling, but limited in the egg options available. Guests could only have scrambled and boiled eggs. Some variety with the eggs would be super.

It's a beautiful hotel, lovely decor and very comfortable rooms. There is a safe, ample space to unpack, a good-sized fridge, and a table with some bar stools. The bathroom is gorgeous as well, and the views are breathtaking. The hotel is right next to the mall, which made it quite convenient for international travelers who needed to purchase some things for their trip and pop by an atm for meticais. The breakfast was good with a decent variety of food as well as drinks.

Because we did not have Mozambican Sim cards, we relied heavily on wifi, so we were quite disappointed to find that the speed was poor and the signal was weak. The TV was not a good alternative to entertain ourselves because the channels were not varied in content and therefore not suited to our tastes.

Great location. Very convenient being right at Baia Mall and the beach. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Room was clean and the overall the hotel is very well decorated. We really enjoyed our stay. We had to leave very early so didn't get a chance to enjoy breakfast, so we'll definitely come back!

Room was a lot smaller than expected when we first walked in. Shower wasn't very clean - it had pink and black mold on the walls and ceiling and the shower head was a bit dirty - maybe a bathroom ventilation system would help with that build up. Otherwise there's nothing to complain about. We were in a safe hotel and slept well so we're happy! We'll be back for sure!

Although it is a "budget" hotel, I felt very comfortable and found the location worked well for my beach dreams on a "budget." The room was a good size (for one person), and I enjoyed looking out my window at the beach each morning. The breakfast met my needs, even though it was pretty much the same for all five days. I know that this would bother some people, but not cooking for five days and being full each morning was good enough for me. The Customer Service truly was the best part. From Shelia at the front desk making a call to address an issue to the gentlemen in the dining area being so attentive each morning, I felt the service was definitely a "10!" Lastly, being connected to a mall with many amenities and even a nightclub that went until 5AM (I only found this out when I went to take pictures of the sunrise one morning), makes up for the size and minimal amenities of the hotel. Since it rained for my first few days, it was nice to be able to head to the mall without being impacted by the weather, and enjoy beach views while eating meals.

My biggest issue was safety when crossing the street to go to the beach. Since I did this many times a day during my stay at the crosswalk (or "Zebra Stripes" as some call them), it was beyond frustrating that very few vehicles stopped to allow people to cross. It creates a very dangerous situation where you put your life in other people's hands just to get across the street to enjoy the endless beaches. The only other issue was noise. Being next to the elevator, I heard a lot of sounds at night, and also because I like to leave my window open (don't like air conditioning) I was constantly hearing music coming from the gas station next to the hotel. Overall my stay was fine, and I'm glad I had the experience for my first time in Mozambique, on a budget😉.

The rooms were very neat and tidy besides the issue of the clothes hangers.The staff were very friendly.The hanging hat designs in the reception area very nice that was creativity at it's best.The sitting area colours on the walls ,the picture designs makes the place very beautiful.

I would suggest that they put disposable shower caps in the bathroom.The clothes hangers were dusty and fluffy stuff piled up on them , I couldn't use them so I opted for folding my clothes neatly on the shelfs provided instead of hangers..wiping them once a week would assist.

I was given room 103, but when I went in there, I heard loud clanking noises from the pipes in the ceiling. I asked the receptionist (Sebastian) to come up and listen, and he did so and agreed the noises were loud and it would be difficult to sleep. He gave me Room 101 which was better but the noises were still audible, although with the aircon switched on, I couldn’t hear them. Anyway I took Room 101 and with the aircon on was able to sleep. However you may have to look into fixing those pipes in the ceiling and stopping the noise as I think future guests will also be disturbed by them. Thank you.

The location of the hotel is perfect, in front of the beachfront! It's safe and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. the breakfast is really good - with lots of options for different types of eaters. The room and cleaning service are kept really well, everything is clean.

The size of the beds in the rooms can be very small, if you are staying with a partner. The bar also only opens at 1pm so you have to wait for a long time if you decide to hang out by the pool from after breakfast. They need to wash the pool lounge chair-covers at least daily, if not replace them altogether.

Breakfast was the same but good. Need alil more options. We stayed in the room facing the sea and sunrise was absolutely beautiful. Loved it🙂. We extended our stay by an additional 2more nights and we were luckily to stay in the same room. So pleased

We were not informed before arriving that Mastercards don’t work In the country so that was an inconvenience, especially with paying for booking, we spent hours trying to get it right. But senior management (Marko) of the place did eventually understand our complaint regarding that situation and he managed to ensure that our shuttle to the airport would be taken care of by the hotel. Bar fridge delayed with keeping water and other drinks cold

The bed was so small with a disturbing sound when lie down,the bathroom had a funny smell coming from the toilet and the shower drain. The breakfast was limited with no variety to choose from especially the eggs we didn’t have no options to choose from ,it was just boiled eggs and scrambled eggs . The cups weren’t washed properly my husband discovered some lipstick stains on his cup when he was busy drinking his cappuccino . When we got into our room there was some dust in the bathroom tissue holder and the floor had some hair remains.

Very well placed Good view of the Beach and parts of the Capital City of Maputo. Very easy access to the BAÍA Bay Mall. It's just adjacent to the Hotel Reception near Entrance 4.

SatNav directions off the grid..taking you 4kilometres along the road.. So that you know, there's only 1 Stay EasyStay in Maputo , next to BAÍA Bay. The Banking system.. Only accept VISA debit cards for any foreign cards, No Tapping or Contact Less allowed 😔 Previous notice would have saved a lot of trouble with payments. Maestro Master Cards were not working Not to even at the ATMs.
