We were in the airstrip cottages. Cute and quiet. Easy walk or ride to the main building. Estate is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was buffet and extensive. We did a 4 wine and 2 oil tasting our last evening paired with food. No need for dinner that night. Also had 2 dinners in “the crypt”. Menu is lovely. We got a flat tire along our journey and staff recommended shop 10 minutes away. We pulled up with the spare tire on and in 15 minutes we were back on our way with a repaired tire for 15 Euros. Couldn’t believe it.

Breakfast was good, lots to choose from. Property itself was beautiful, staff were friendly, and security (gated) property was a nice addition. We had a lovely time on our room’s balcony!

While the property was very beautiful, our room was only clean at the surface level (cobwebs and dust in the corners). We had a great time at this property and learning its history, but do think some small updates to rooms would greatly improve others experiences (like the shower head in bathroom). Room overall had a very musty / moldy smell, which luckily seemed to go away when we turned off the AC split units and opened the windows.

The quiet, peaceful, relaxing atmosphere around this resort. All you hear are the numerous birds in the trees of this estate hotel. The amenities are excellant : spa , pool , dining.....hotel rooms are adorable with equisite furnishings. Don Eusebio restaurant was a 5-Star experience - most home grown veg , fruit, eggs, black pork - the chef is extraordinary..!! Desserts are to die for...Lunch by the pool & breakfast are fantastic. Adorable local staff with extraordinary qualities to make clients feel at home.

Having so much time to relax & forget the outside world..!! Joking apart, staying here is not healthy for people who cant stay long in the resort. We were perfectly at ease at all times. Nothing to complain about really..!! Just chill, relax & enjoy the peaceful surroundings .

The kindness and responsiveness of staff together with the quiet and Sicilian allure of the place gave the feeling of an hidden sanctuary far from the chaos of the world. Plus: a 640m private airstrip for aviation enthusiasts.

Very minor details as some outdated appliances. Nothing that has impacted the stay. All was still functional.

The grounds are lush and stunning, with a beautifully manicured garden filled with fruit and nut trees, and historic buildings with lots of places to wander and explore. The staff really elevated the experience. Giulia, Fabrice, Magda, and the rest of the staff were so gracious, helpful, kind, and attentive. At every turn, they provided an experience that left us in awe. I never wanted to leave!

Our stay at Eremo della Giubiliana has been super! The location is beautiful, with an interesting history. The Garden with the pool is charming, the service in the garden was quick and the staff was very kind. The reception is very antique and the staff was lovely especially Monia, who gave us great advice to visit the city. We will come back as soon as possible in this beautiful place

The property is truly amazing and so are the staff !

There were numerous large centipedes in the bedroom and also in our bed. The shower unit did not work well due to low water pressure. We ordered fried eggs with our breakfast and we not told that this would be extra - and the charge for simple fried eggs was just exorbitant. The bedroom also had rising damp in the walls.

The Eremo was excellent in so many ways - the staff were incredibly attentive (our room was made up multiple times a day!), the food was incredible, we did a cooking course there which was great fun - we were given a free upgrade as they had the room free, and the place is beautiful. Fantastic really - the property has a fascinating history too, and a hotel golden retriever called Max.

Literally the only thing was the number of flies near the pool made it uncomfortable to eat/drink there a couple of times (at the restaurant they burned citronella candles and such so that was great, so they could really just do that at the pool too) - we did visit during one of the hottest weeks of the year though and the staff said they’d never seen it that bad so I imagine they’ll sort that of it happens again.

Food was good night one, very mediocre night two. Charges 50Euro for their own Vino but never stipulated the price. 300Euro for 2 dinners was a shock and ultimately left a bag taste in my mouth. The owner - for these small places the personal touch is essential to an experience. No acknowledgment from him at all despite being the only being in the dining space on 2 diff occasions. Taking calls on the loud speaker is also not conducive is the boutique hotel experience

Nice and quite ambiance in a medieval setting. Staff were always very polite and helpful.

The bees and mosquito were everywhere but can be understood due to the the hot period and greenery. During the weekend when children came with their parents at the pool it was a little bit noisy which can be expected.
