Waited 1.5-2 hours to get my food from the restaurant. Despite a perfect service attention, the lady was all by herself to serve and there was 1 cook in the kitchen!! With about 20-25 customers to serve, you can imagine the wait time. The food was below average with 2 halves chicken breasts cooked to a salty burn and a less than average quality cheese cake. I do not blame the poor waitress (who was also handling the bar service) nor do I blame the poor chef swamped with orders at the same time. Customers did not recriminate, as they understood the problem. I personally blame the staffing manager for having poor staffing insights. I worked as a manager for years in Chicago, in Montréal and Ottawa, and I felt sad for the staff.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Good-sized room. Breakfast was enjoyable, but limited options. Close to the train station, highway and airport. Also close to the lake and two lovely small towns, Lachine and Point-Claire.

As a dog-friendly hotel, it was limited in terms of places to play with and walk them. The area is pretty industrial, so a walk in the neighborhood didn't offer much in terms of grass or trees. Maybe add a small area beside the hotel for dog activities. There were at least five other dogs at the hotel.

Ample parking. Large, well-appointed room with comfortable beds. Bright and airy lobby. Cheery breakfast area with very pleasant service. Well-managed and clean pool and change areas. For our purposes, it was a good location with access to the lake, airport, and highways.

The area is somewhat industrial. We have a service dog, so not ideal for walking him. But otherwise, a good location.

We had a quick breakfast of coffee, tea and pastries. The pastries were outstanding!

Someone smoked in the elevator, not the hotel’s fault. I had fish and chips for dinner and thought the fish would be whole pieces in batter; was disappointed that it was a number of manufactured fish sticks. While most entrees had a picture on the menu, the fish and chips did not, masking what the actual meal entailed.

After a long drive it was nice to arrive and have a easy checking. The room was ready and clean. Hot shower, then off to bed for a early morning departure .The beds where very comfortable ( wish I had that bed at home) Early morning little breakfast and on airport shuttle.

We wanted something near the airport and affordable. It was on the pricey side, but that’s the market, and not Holiday Inn’s fault really. We had asked for a crib and it was in the room upon arrival. Comfortable bed and everything was really nice. Would definitely stay again.

The price, but all hotel rooms are expensive at the moment.

We liked that it was close to the airport and had a shuttle. The lobby was nice. Rooms were clean and the bed was firm. Linens were good quality.

Food selection was limited, and was very overpriced given the very low quality. Rooms could definitely use an upgrade. Would have been nice to have been told what the airport shuttle schedule was. We were told to come down when we were ready to go and the shuttle would be available but it was actually on a 30 minute rotation and we happened to get to the lobby at 6:03 when the shuttle left at 6:00. Expensive for what it is, you’re paying for convenience.

If you fly from Montreal, it is an excellent and practical place to stay. The room was very comfortable, and the entrance is newly refurbished....it looks great.

The shuttle bus only comes if you call for it, which was not in the information so I waited for a long time before I found a way to call them.

Close to the airport just as I needed

I needed a hair dryer, and also I lost my eyeglasses on the way out, probably on the way to the car or when I was loading the bags in the car… I am still looking for them and would like to staff to get in touch with me if they find it.

Did not take breakfast at the hotel as it was expensive for the quantity of options they had. Plus due to food restriction, 3 of the five options on the buffet were not suitable for us.

Have a more variety food rather than having beacon, ham and breakfast sausage that are ALL porc, add a vegetarian option like vegan beacon and / or turkey breakfast sausage. Add pancake or crepe or waffles with Canadian maple syrup.
