I liked the food experience, both in the restaurant and the bar food. The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely. It was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive and helpful. The location and the scenery was amazing.

I have only a couple things I didn't like - that is the height of the toilets in the bedroom are very low if you have bad knees , hips or back I realised this can't be changed until you do a complete make over of the bathroom ● your golf course is fantastic, but for the non golfer, there are no enjoyable walking trails around your hotel and golf course.

We stayed here while attending a wedding nearby and couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well presented, making it a really pleasant place to come back to after the celebrations. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and inviting. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the property, as everywhere we went was tidy and well looked after. A lovely hotel in a convenient location — we were so glad we chose to stay here and would happily return.

The best aspect of Tulfarris is definitely it's setting - you are only about 30mins from Dublin but it feels like you are in the deep countryside. The hotel itself is very comfortable and well laid out. We were there for a pre-Christmas break and the hotel was decorated really well. All of the staff we encountered were excellent which made you feel very relaxed, for example, I had trouble locating a virtual Black Friday voucher and they were happy to check us in and let me go off and find it in my own time. The hotel is probably a bit dated but that doesn't really take anything away from it.

I thought the TVs and music playing over each other in the bar was a bit unnecessary, I think the sports, which you couldn't hear anyway could have been turned down to allow for the music to be heard. The one thing I did find very irritating was the management's failure to deal with a group of girls who were running up and down the halls and screaming for most of the night - certainly to about 4.45am anyway. Conscious that if people want to be noisy in their room there's not much a manager can do about it but I think there could have been a better effort to keep them out of the halls.

Friendly, helpful and very competent staff. Lovely room. Excellent restaurant and bar. Comfortable lounge with a book shelf. Gorgeous views - its in a lovely location

The coffee at breakfast. Though the room had a coffee pod machine and that coffee was OK, the coffee served in the restaurant was woeful. I preume it was filter coffee, decanted into a pot. Would it kill them to serve coffee made fresh in a cafetiere with breakfast?

Just enjoyed a fabulous 2 day stay at Tulfarris Hotel. The room was comfortable, beautifully decorated and had a stunning view of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, with panoramic views of the golf course from the huge windows. We dined in the Brasserie Bar on each evening, enjoying dinner in the relaxed atmosphere. I had a very relaxing facial and head massage at the new spa, thanks to my therapist Gemma who was amazing. I would fully recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway - you’ll drift out the gates on your way home!

The location was beautiful. Very placid. If you want a peaceful quiet stay away, this is the place to go. Hotel itself is clean and modern. Staff couldn't be more friendly and the food was excellent. So much to see around. Beautiful lakes on site and Russborough house is only few mile up the road and we shot across to powerscourt gardens and waterfall , about 30 mile over the mountain which was fantastic.

As I said, hotel was clean and really comfortable and we would stay there again in a heartbeat but we had a disabled friendly room and as the hotel is a golf resort , I can only assume these aren't used as often as the other ones. The room itself was clean and cosy but the bathroom was very neglected. Dirty shower tray and curtain. Shelves hanging off the walls, were a glass literally slid off and smashed on us. Taps swung from side to side when you turned them on.Very small and compact for a disabled bathroom while the other bathrooms looked fantastic on the website. This is a fantastic hotel don't get me wrong but next time we stay it'll be in an ordinary room I think.

Just back from a super relaxing break. The Tulfarris Hotel is a beautiful hotel. We Loved the room. Bed is extremely comfy. Had the best two nights sleep. Great breakfast in the morning. Great bar with music. Staff are all professional and friendly from the bar staff, receptionists and the housekeeping staff. The staff are a credit and an asset to the hotel. We didn't avail of the Bar food or restaurant this time but we will definitely be back.

I can't fault this hotel. It provided everything we needed for a perfect break.

Location superb, staff superb and rooms nicely decorated. Good food, decent bar nice restaurant (though sadly closed on the Saturday night). Lift available for those that need. Would love to be fit enough for round of golf as the course and greens looked really great.

Lack of blue badge parking when there are two yellow boxes in the car park that could be repurposed and another couple of spaces if the planters along car park were reduced. I couldn't get in or out of car in standard parking spaces. However I must say reception staff were magnificent and organised suitable parking locations on both nights to ensure our stay was comfortable.

We were disappointed that after having gone through the dinner menus and decided on what we wanted, we were then given a printed, very limited menu when we arrived which unfortunately did not include either starter or main meal options both myself or my husband had chosen. The reason we were given was that they were very busy and the kitchen had not prepared enough for demand. This was disappointing. Breakfast was nice but mu husband found the cooked meal was not hot.

We spent one night at Tulfarris hotel for our 4 year anniversary and it was above our expectations and great value for money. We stayed in room 242 with a beautiful balcony overlooking the main entrance. We really enjoyed our stay and the food was lovely in the fine dining restaurant and were treated to complimentary treats upon our arrival for our anniversary. We also received complimentary champagne with our meal.

Outside room 242 there are a set of fire doors. These particular doors were extremely loud every time they banged shut. When we stayed on the 20th of April, we think there may have been a wedding on and could not get to sleep from 3-5 am as people who were returning to their room in the early hours of the morning had to open and close the doors which kept us awake. Additionally, it would be great if the spa was a little more extensive and there was a pool onsite.
