From arriving at the gate to be greeted by a lovely gentleman and then to be met at the entrance and the car taken from us and parked and our bag taken away to our room while we enjoyed lunch!! A slick operation and done by lovely friendly people. Amazing greeting all in the first 5 minutes!! The food in South, The Palmer and breakfast were all superb as were all the staff working in both places and the lovely guy who brought breakfast to our room. The bedroom was lovely, very quiet and restful and the bed was so comfortable. The grounds are stunning and extremely well maintained, lovely to stroll around.

The only thing we didn't like was our lunch time in South. The lunch was beautiful and the view over the course was beautiful but the noise levels from a group of children left to their own devices by parents sitting at another table was dreadful. It was deafening and we unfortunately ate quickly so we could leave. It was disappointing as we were looking forward to eating there and relaxing for the afternoon. The lovely staff who served us were not entirely happy with the noise either. Not really your fault but should it have been addressed with the parents?

The service, the warm welcome, the laid back atmosphere - nothing was a problem. Great beds, big luxurious rooms with baths. Lovely food, and on our second night we ate from the room service menu in the drawing room, the lads put on a log fire and left us to it. Fabulous. Cesar was an absolute legend, a man who obviously loves his work and excels at it. Top class, and he sorted us out with VIP treatment at Kildare Village, which we really enjoyed. I arrived stressed and sad and left feeling minded and relaxed. Thoroughly surprised by how good it was and will be back. Many thanks 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

There was a noise in one of the rooms, a buzz, we had to switch to another room in the middle of the night. Ordinarily that would put a damper on things, but it was all dealt with really professionally and we couldn’t stay cheesed off for long. Wonderful approach to customer service, really impressed on all fronts.

Beautiful grounds plenty to do for everyone. From golf to the leisure Center to the spa this resort really caters for everyone. We stayed during the Easter holidays and they had little chicks available great for kids!!

Some of the bikes provided were faulty some were squeaky which annoyed the golfers (understandably) and others had faulty breaks / Seats having said this this was minimal inconvenience and the bikes are a lovely touch / a great resource to have available.

The K club has a stunning landscape that embodies tranquility and grandeur. The staffs are all excellent, they all do their best to go above and beyond so you’d have a great stay.

It’s not really the property per se however the next door guest had their television too loud at late evening, the staff was quite prompt to intervene and sort the situation.

We stayed in room 1, excellent, spacious room/apartment for anniversaries or honeymoon. Large bedroom, large living room, sauna. Breakfast very good, staff friendly and helpful. Dinner at the Palmer restaurant, again staff was very friendly with a nice smile, magnificent views of the golf course and the lake

It is close to impossible to find something that we didn’t like. The only minor problem was the shower tap, we could not adjust the hot water, but this is very minor and it did not affect our fantastic experience.

The quality of stay & service sincerely exceeded the price charged. Pure luxury! The nicest hotel stay we have ever enjoyed.

Some of the younger staff weren't as in tune at breakfast/in the bar. Older staff absolutely fantastic. Anticipated customer requirements, prompt service & always with a smile.

Exceptional breakfast selection and attentive service. Several choices of restaurants within the hotel property for lunch/dinner. Food was excellent.

We didn’t care for the truly limited bar menu at the Straffan Inn in the center of town which is part of the K Club. We also didn’t eat at the Barton restaurant on site because the menu was mostly fish/seafood and my husband doesn’t care for that type of food. It honestly would have been fine for me.

the quality of the surroundings staff where exceptional couldn’t do enough for us from the moment we walked through the door the concierge was at hand to take our luggage. Thius on reception was very efficient checking us in and even lead us to our room it was our anniversary they had a a lovely surprise for us with balloons and cake pat transferred us on the shuttle to the palmer restaurant and the food staff and surroundings where very nice. then Stephen on the gate house was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable as we took the bikes around the 560 acres he give us a great chat about the kclub and the surrounding area. a must visit

the only slight disappointing thing was the jacuzzi wasn’t working in the spa the pool has a bubble bath going so like I said it was only slight disappointment.

The location, staff, facilities, food and of course the golf courses were totally 5* ++. Stunning location - would highly recommend the segway tour as a great way to see around the estate. The staff, each and every one, were just lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, especially Brendan, Concierge, who went over and beyond for us. Beautiful bedroom with amazing bed and great facilities. Food to die for - we ate in all the restaurants and each one was amazing. Golf courses are the best! You could play snooker on the greens! The Spa is lovely and I would highly recommend the 'Grounding Ritual' massage treatment. Thank you K Club for an amazing birthday break - you made it very special.

beautiful hotel with fabulous grounds. defiantly worth visiting or staying during Christmas as the decorations are amazing. Staff especially guest manager Ceaser were all so helpful and lovely. Spa is wonderful and the therapists are friendly. Food in the South Bar and Palmer is great.The Breakfast food is amazing.

asked to book breakfast prior to arrival. booked for 10 but still had to que for 35 minutes before being seated. most hotels don’t require breakfast bookings and still manage to deal with influx of people at peak times. after being seated we waited for 40 minutes for tea and coffee and had to ask for it 3 times , food came before it. reception shrugged it off when we mentioned it Also bars being closed at 12 due to “covid” a year almost year after restrictions have been lifted is quite a poor excuse. you are able to order drinks to room so it really makes no sense as to why an area cant remain open for residents to have some drinks.
