We stayed in room 17 at Leixlip Manor Hotel, which is situated in a separate area away from the main building. Initially concerned about my husband's mobility issues, we were pleasantly surprised by how accommodating and peaceful our stay turned out to be. The room offered a delightful view of the garden, adorned with beautiful giant white roses and frequented by various birds, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly, and the grounds were meticulously maintained. A highlight for us was the presence of a lone horse on the property, adding to the picturesque charm of the surroundings. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would highly recommend this place for anyone seeking tranquility and warm hospitality.

The hotel is very well situated with a large parking area in front and surrounded by scenic grounds. Our room in the main house was large, very nicely furnished and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and well maintained, although it was down a flight of steps. We only ate breakfast at the hotel There were plenty of choices and the cooked food was of a good standard although the buffet was only available over the weekend with individual orders taken at other times for cooked food. The staff were very helpful with our queries.

A couple of small things. The small round tables in the bar dining room for breakfast were round and small which made it difficult to not feel cramped when eating and we were a bit disappointed with the supermarket sliced bread. There didn't seem to be any brown bread one morning.

Great staff - all without exception very friendly & efficient. Bedroom was lovely. Even when we had a problem with noise from a neighbouring room (in the stables converted area) it was dealt with utmost sympathy & understanding. Offered another much nicer room straight away. Very much appreciated this.

Perhaps slightly more choice of breakfast would be better? Disappointed no porridge or scrambled eggs. Although what was on offer was very nice - served in a beautiful dining room by again very nice staff.

The location is very close to Dublin but the environment makes you feel that you are a way out in the Countryside far from the city and it's pressures. The environment of an old manor house is retained. We stayed in a room that would I thought have been the buildings associated with stables in the past. The Hotel people were very friendly.

I do not want to complain but... the water pressure in the bathroom was quite poor. The toilet cistern was very very slow to refill which meant that flushing the toilet proved a problem for some time.

Location - easy access by car, close to direct bus service to central Dublin (avoids expensive parking) but needs Leap card available at Spar store next to bus stop. Quiet location in garden. Good bar with food and numerous pubs and restaurants in walking distance.

No fan in toilet and door wouldn't close tight. Acceptable size toilet - shower if you don't need much space. Sash window had to propped open for fresh air and to combat unnecessary heater. House rule against food or drink in room, although tea and coffee provided - (?).

I found the bed very comfortable. I had been on the road driving for 6 hours and I was looking forward to a goodnight's rest. I got it, we only stayed for one night. Unfortunately we arrived very late in the night, they had finished serving dinner and we woke up very late, and as a result missed breakfast. So unfortunately I cannot comment on the meals. The reception also offered to print our boarding passes and that was very nice. I realised when I was at the airport, that I forgot my winter coat in the wardrobe of the room we stayed in. I called the hotel from the airport and they offered to post it to me and I paid for postage. I was very impressed by their transparency with the cost of postage, they sent me a scanned receipt of the postage and my receipt. Great service from Jessica and team.

The staff could be more friendly.

Stayed in the coutyard and the room was amazing my son especially loved the bath!

When we arrived on Sunday afternoon we did not receive a friendly check in from the girls at the desk! I know we were early however I work in a hotel and I know that some rooms are ready before check in time! They told me that we were far too early and and as a first impression this was really unprofessional! However they did ring a few mins later to say our rooms were ready so I do appreciate the early check in however the attitude was totally uncalled for!

WOW! What a Surprise. In this Palladian style hotel with a fastening history I received an upgrade to the Bridal Suite. Fantastic double aspect room with real comfort! . Super comfy super kingsized bed. Snuggle pillows. Bright airy bathroom and lounge area, This is Irish Hospitality at its best. Staff in all departments were attentive and professional. On site Parking adjacent to beautiful Gardens. Varied Menu to suit all tastes. What a treat. Thank you to the wonderful Management and all the Team..

A beautiful place.

They said when we checked in that we should check out the gardens the next morning, but everything was all locked up and it looked like it had been closed for a long time. We did get lost trying to find the place in the dark. Other than that, the room was ok although one of our rooms was very hot and we couldn´t get the heater to turn off. The worker came and tried but they couldn´t get it shut off either. There were quite a few bugs outside, so we couldn´t open the windows.

I liked the peace, the wind blowing and the trees rustling, the garden was calming, it needs a bit of tlc but it still has a charm, it's a heaven for small birds and the bees loved the Allium Gladiator flowers. We didn't stay in the main house, we were in the courtyard (converted stables I guess). It was different, in a good way. We still got to experience the main house for breakfast, the dining area was quaint, for those who loved Bridgeton on Netflicks it was like dining in a set. There was a good selection to cater for any taste, I'm vegetarian, my other half isn't, we had plenty. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable, and there was a view of a smaller garden. The bathroom was large, with a shower/bath, toiletries were provided. The towels were bath size and ever so soft. Over all this place is a treat to the soul Aside from that Leixlip is a picturesque town, with nearby Maynooth offering a nice area to stroll around to, we visited the nearby Wonderful Barn and Connollys Folly. There is an estate within driving distance to walk by the Liffey. All in all, plenty for anyone, for those into shopping there are plenty of places for that too with Dublin and Dublin airport within 35mins of the hotel.

The room walls could do with a little paint, and extension of the hiding wall for the bins on the drive way out could be extended, maybe hedging to cover them, it's not a big deal or a deal breaker by any means but would just look better.
