The Quinn family from St. Louis, USA, highly recommends the Castleknock Hotel! My wife and I coupled with our two young children returned to Ireland from the U.S. to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Castleknock hotel for 1 week (August 3 to August 11). From the onset, the welcome we received was warm, friendly and we felt truly at home. Throughout our stay, the customer service was truly 5-star! The food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner were exceptional and the pint of Guinness was top notch. It is not surprising that this hotel has won several awards in 2024 and in previous years. The entire staff were warm and most importantly, the staff made our family at home! At the drop of a hat, Andrew, Joanna and colleagues set up a designated area in the hotel to host family and friends while celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The hotel is on Dublin’s doorstep, boasting beautiful surroundings ideal for walking and exploring. Rooms are clean, spacious and the leisure center/spa is also impressive. The room (Macleese suite) was amazingly quiet with beautiful views of the course. The room was spotless, lovely Elemis toiletries and great coffee/tea facilities. The hotel even has a “pillow menu” so we were able to get the exact pillows we needed for an amazing night’s sleep on a giant and very comfortable bed. All the staff at all times made us feel valued and welcome. The leisure facilities were great - I even joined a Pilates class! The restaurants were top class and the breakfast divine with a great choice.

Despite the attempt to be sustainable, the room did not have anywhere to dry wet towels so we needed dry towels every day. There was also nowhere in the bathroom to hang dressing gowns. Also our room did not have WiFi for the duration of our stay (5 days) despite informing staff daily).

Will definitely be back so relaxing feeling very refreshed after our stay here …. Very busy hotel over our stay but still felt very relaxed ..breakfast got up early so it was quiet for breakfast … Nice park just down the road if you fancy going for a nice walk or a run

The food was delicious …Breakfast was the best fresh smoothie & poached egg didn’t have to ask to be cooked all on hot counter … Dinner was delicious aswell try & get a later booking for dinner as its more relaxed & not so busy 6.30 was our first night was very busy then 2nd night was 8.45 & was much more relaxed

20 mins waiting for a pint We were staying one night then we said we will book another night while we are here we had to change rooms and wait for 2 hours for new room Very pricey to stay for one night i no it was easter weekend but they should do a deal for two nights Make sure u dont buy king crisps out of the vending machine 4 euro is nuts Hotel very very warm need more air

I would like a free late to breakfast.

The breakfast was fabulous! Hot full Irish provided, along with continental options. The room we had (triple) was very comfortable and spacious. Staff (front desk to facilities) were all extremely welcoming and friendly. Large pool which we utilized every day. Great front entrance area with a cafe and comfy seating also allowed for nice hang out time. The hotel is a GREAT location if you're not wanting to be in central Dublin. Quick access to all the major hot spots and tourist areas. There is a wonderful pub (The Carpenter) about 10-15 min walk away. We'd definitely stay here again!

No aircon, however fan in room and the windows open provided good breeze/air circulation. No fault of the staff, however, as the hotel is somewhat of a leisure centre, it can get a bit busy and loud - especially in halls -- children running / yelling. The hotel does have signs that says not to leave children unsupervised, however, some parents let their kids run about. Overall though, it is a great place to stay with a family.

We loved the welcoming ambience of Castleknock, where we stayed for three night whole attending the wedding of our nice at Luttrellstown Castle. We found our stay in the Luttrell Suite to be the utmost in comfort, with luxurious bedding, and every small detail attended to. The suite offered comfortable space to welcome our family, and beautiful vistas of Castleknock’s exquisite property. Breakfast was lovely each morning, we enjoyed to pool and spa, as well as a delicious dinner. The lobby proved to be welcoming and comfortable, and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating. We loved every moment of our stay!

Everything was perfect!

A lovely atmosphere the moment I entered the hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was so clean and the rooms had everything you may need for your stay. The attention to detail was amazing and excellent. The decor was very nice and bright. The hotel furniture was so comfortable and I slept really well. The hotel was near an appointment I had and also I went to a very well known shopping centre called Blanchardstown ( Blanch ) This mall had so many shops to explore.

I’m a bigger lady and the dressing gowns were a bit small. I was disappointed that I couldn’t book another night stay at short notice. The hotel was fully booked. That wasn’t a fault as it’s a busy time and lots of people were thinking the same as me

Property is exceptional, restaurant staff especially Andrew and team are incredible to deal with and go above and beyond. Food was fantastic and live music in the lobby is a great way to end the evening.

Unfortunately, one or two of the reception staff were rude to me and a few members of my family upon check in. This is not what you expect for the first impression at a 5 star hotel when you have reserved multiple rooms for two nights and a large function. They let the rest of the team down. Other than that, the hotel was incredible.

Lovely atmosphere, bedrooms very comfortable and clean, with dyson hairdrier and nespresso coffee machine Fabulous dinner in Earth and Vine Restaurant and Orla our waitress was exceptional so friendly and professional. Huge choice at breakfast and the berry smoothies were the highlight. Nice swim at the pool and even though very busy, the pool area and changing rooms were kept very clean.

Bar a little slow and seemed under pressure but also very busy and maybe the staff could have used more help.
