The hotel staff is very friendly and tries to help with every problem in the best possible way. The breakfast is very good and offers a very large selection of hot and cold food. The room was very large and the bed very comfortable.

Unfortunately, there are also negative points. The toilet flush only worked very poorly. They immediately tried to solve the problem, but it was probably because the water pressure was insufficient. So no points for the toilet. The bathroom is equipped for wheelchair users, so everything is much lower. This is a problem for tall people, however, as you have to bend your knees to wash your hands or you can only see your knees in the mirror. The room was on the street side and was correspondingly noisy.

Location is great, removed a bit but still close to the center, next to a park with a nice pub across the street. Staff is absolutely amazing, very helpful an acomodating, even in the face of most basic inquiries. Cleanliness is on point at all levels of the hotel, from the communal areas to the room upkeep.

For a 4 star hotel, it would need some renovation, small things that do not really impact the functionality but rather the quality that you expect at this price point. The constant humming of the central air system, the leaking of the shower, the tear on the linen cover, the lack of a complimentary bottle for the water (you do get a tetraPak of water in the mini fridge, but, seriously?), the dry pastries at an otherwise nice breakfast spread... All survivable and not worth the bother of complaining but it does leave you feeling a bit disappointed. I wanted to try the pool, and gym area but felt uncomfortable by the fact that it is open to outside guests.

Hotel was clean and modern with plenty of facilities on site. Rooms were spacious and ours had a private balcony overlooking the Kilmainham Gaol. I usually have neck pain from pillows in hotels and don’t sleep very well but the pillows here were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had, the quality and selection of food was fab. Wish we could have stayed longer!

It’s a bit out of the way if you’re wanting to go into the city centre frequently - coming back to the hotel is very quick but getting in takes some time as there’s a one way road system. The location was ideal for us though as we were attending a wedding at the Johnstown Estate and the hotel is very close to the motorway.

We love the fact that they accommodate us by arriving so early. The room was exceptional. The place was nice and quiet. Dinner good and staff was so friendly. Prosecco for breakfast. Lovely touch and coffee was amazing. Breakfast was amazing, we even got asked if we wanted ice cream. Great location

There were only two bottles of water for three people in the fridge. For the price that we paid for the room we would have loved breakfast included. There was both a bath and a shower in my room. But the floor kept getting very very wet. At one point I nearly slipped in the shower.

The staff were the best part of this stay! From the moment we arrived they could not do enough! They were so friendly and chatty! It sets up your stay when that is your first encounter. There was one lady overseeing breakfast and her customer service was exceptional. I observed how she spoke to guests and the relationship she had built with some of them as they were quick to tell her various excursions. Having worked in hotels for years, these qualities in staff are what can make a stay! Filipe I think is the name of the front of house that looked out for us on check out, again, so friendly, chatty and accommodating. Perfect end to a wonderful stay!

The Hilton Kilmainham is one of the best Hotels we´ve stayed in! The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds very comfortable. The swimming pool is great for the kids. Breakfast is excellent, something for everyone, great choice and delicious. Also the restaurant food is very good, for lunch or dinner, great menue. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We´ve stayed here many times and it was always fantastic. The location is also very good, just opposite the jail, which is absolutely worth a visit, some restaurants and shops nearby. If you want to go into the city, there is a bus stop within 3 minutes walk.

Myself and my partner visited the Hilton last weekend to attend a training event and even though I felt under the weather the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They supplied me with a fan and set the air conditioning to cool which was a great help. The room was spotless with very comfortable beds, modern decor and was surprisingly quite even though our room was by a busy street. Parking was very easy which is located right next to the hotel in an underground car park which kept my mind at ease knowing my car would be safe. Felipe helped us during check out which quick and easy. He was very friendly and kind to us, we can't thank him enough along with all the staff members that made our stay a very positive one. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top teir hotel close to the city.

Traveling as a single mother with an autistic child. I asked to be placed in a room away from any noise and we were accommodated. The afternoon and evening staff were extremely exceptional, helping us with everything they could, from the reception to the bar. The manager Luis was very kind in welcoming us, giving us directions, and calling a taxi. The location is excellent, very close to the city center

The morning staff were not so welcoming, unfortunately. We lost a shirt, I asked if anyone had found it and they didn't bother to help. Both the reception and coffee shop staff made me feel like I didn't have the money to be there. It was disappointing.

The staff, from the reception staff to the bar/breakfast staff were all extremely friendly and helpful from the minute we checked-in until we checked out. Felipe at reception is exactly what every hotel reception needs! Cannot praise the food enough, dinner and breakfast were both amazing. The room was amazing, comfy bed and quiet hotel surroundings so we all had a great night's sleep. Travelled with my sister and 3 year old niece and we were all very happy and impressed with the hotel. We will definately be visiting the Hilton Kilmainham again if we are visiting Dublin.

Staff - extremely friendly and helpful, had a lovely welcome and departure. Room size - generous room size with enough space for travel luggage etc.

Bed - super uncomfortable, can tell they're old and heavily used. Need to be updated. Noise - our room was on the street side - you could easily hear the music / noise from the lobby bar/restaurant, and people in the street. Rooms - super old and outdated. As a result value for money isn't great (although note all accom in Dublin seems very expensive).
