Location works for me

For the first time ever, I had a complaint about the breakfast because the hot food had not been replenished and I had had a very small window to eat before I had to leave, so I ended up grabbing croissant and leaving. 2nd point to note is I’ve probably stayed for about 30 nights in the past year across multiple bookings and something I would recommend is replaced in all of the bathrooms are the soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower as the pump doesn’t retract so you have to press down down and pull up the pump on the bottles … only a small criticism but that issue is present in every room I’ve ever had including on the majority occasions I’ve been on the fifth floor.

This hotel is excellent. 2nd time staying here and both times we have been been lucky enough to be offered a free upgrade to the executive floor. On exiting the lift to our room we were offered complimentary prosecco and pastries which was a nice surprise. Room was lovely as was breakfast- plenty of choice, customer service was excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Car park is Q park, v expensive but hotel provides a good discount. Great location, close to everything you need. Will definitely be staying again on our next visit to Dublin.

Minor issues: New refurbished rooms did not have hooks on the door to hang towels. The temperature of the room was a little warm without opening the window which meant you could hear the church bells ring every 15 minutes. The lighting in the room could be a little brighter for getting ready.

The rooms are convenient, spacious, and clean, with a great view of the cathedral. The hotel has a central location, but since it is situated in the cathedral square, the area is very open. The staff at this hotel are friendly and highly responsive to any requests or questions.

The hotel was under renovation at that time, so on some days, it was noisy from the morning. However, I suppose this is temporary and will make the experience even better for future guests.

The room was fresh, clean, and nice looking. All as described when booking. Location was really excellent and the public parking (that does not belong to the hotel) was literally attached to the hotel. A huge plus. A good number of plugs and close to the beds (which is aways a good thing for me). Breakfast was good and we even got complimentary coffees at the hotel bar for those who had not chosen to go for the full breakfast.

I have tried hard to come up with a comment about what I did not like and the only very minor thing I could think of, is that we had booked a room for 3 people and there was only 1 chair.

Location was prime, very easy to get most anywhere. Lots of things were walkable and if not, there were several bus stops very close and a taxi stop right in front of hotel. They closed the front doors after a certain time of night (but had someone there to still let in hotel guests) which helped me feel more secure. Staff was amazingly polite and helpful. I had the wrong kind of charger and they found me an adapter to borrow. They helped with directions. While getting ready for a wedding, my zipper on my dress got stuck and a maid in the hallway was even kind enough to take time to help me get the zipper fixed and in my dress. My flight also arrived very early in the day and though my room wasn't ready, they let me check in and leave my luggage so I could start exploring.

The rooms were comfy but extremely hot and the fan provided did not put out much air. They only accepted cards at the time I was there. Not sure if this was a temporary thing or something that is all the time but it was slightly inconvenient for me because I got a foreign transaction fee every time I used my card and if I just needed say a cheap soda, I had a huge fee for running my card.

Perfect location. Would be hard to find a more convenient central spot. Next to the Dublin Express bus stop direct to Dublin airport servicing T1 & T2. Directly opposite the stunning Christchurch Cathedral, less than 5 min walk to Temple Bar area and across the road from the fabulous Darky Kelly’s pub. The staff were wonderfully warm and welcoming- even prior to arrival and went above and beyond to make my birthday trip a memorable one.

The only snag were the pillows. Just too hard. Please please offer some softer options.

Would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff was very helpful, attentive and forthcoming. Some of the rooms at the hotel are being renovated and as we were traveling with a toddler, the manager made sure to place us in a quiet room, so that we would not be disturbed during the day. Overall, the people in Dublin, which also goes for the hotel staff, are so helpful and truly kind, that it was a wonderful experience to be there. The room was spacious and the best part is that the beds were excellent. They were very comfortable, great to sleep on. Not too hard and also not too soft. Even though the hotel is right next to a street, we could barely hear anything from the outside. The room is well equipped.

There was nothing we did not like.

Excellent location. 10-15 minute walk from most attractions. Very comfortable bed. I slept extremely well the two nights I stayed. We were also kindly upgraded upon check in which was lovely. The room was spacious with a decent view of the city. We were also able to store our luggage before check-in on the first day and after check out on the final day which makes it so much easier to get out and about until your room is ready or you need to catch transport onwards. We would definitely stay again.

It did not have a smart TV with steaming services and very limited tv channels. After a long day trying to relax at the hotel, we would have liked to watch Netflix. There is only 1 towel rack in the bathroom which is not suitable to hang bigger towels. I recommend the hotel installs more towel hooks and coat hooks and upgrading the tv with a smart TV.

Stayed in one of their newly refurbished rooms, very nice and clean and modern, I had an upgrade with a brilliant view of Christ church, I was concerned that being on the main road it would be noisy, but it was super quiet. I had a 3pm check in but the room wasn't ready, so I was offered a free drink at the bar and free coffee's for my stay also. The buffet breakfast was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

As in all hotels you can not control all guests behaviour, a suggestion of polite notices should be put up requesting people to be quite in the corridors at night, the room doors seem to be very hard to close and people tended to slam them. Also the design of the new wardrobes are that they are placed near the room doors, when you open the door it slams against the room door, this could also account for the noise.

Nice modern clean room, huge comfy bed. Great location. Staff helpful and friendly without being too over bearing. I heard many languages too. Very professional and they made it look easy. I can't fault them. Breakfast was good quality with plenty on offer and good choice. Tables were cleared and cleaned quickly after use. All areas were very clean and well kept.

The only thing I can think of is the bathroom door was a bit difficult to open and navigate. The sprung closer was hard work to open and close. The bathroom was a little bit small but perfectly clean, well equipped and lit, the shaving mirror being a nice touch too. It just felt a little claustrophobic in there!
